[PRP] You're really pretty. (Hidaya and So)

It was late afternoon in the pridelands and Hidaya was enjoying a bit of time to herself. She had found herself a nice group of rocks to play on. She'd been bouncing around on them since early afternoon and now the sun was starting to lower down into the sky and she had tuckered herself out. Now she was laying on the largest rock in the group and gazing out over the lands. The grass was usually tall enough she couldn't see so sitting on the rock and really seeing everything including other lions going about their business was great!

She was about as happy as she could be in her situation. She loved her adoptive family but she still wondered about her real siblings and her real mom and dad. Did they miss her? Was she on their mind? All the wondering tended to flood her thoughts at least once a day if not more. Usually the thoughts came when she was still and quiet like now and that was why she tended to try to keep moving and doing something. She didn't want to think too much on it cause it always made her sad.

The Pridelands were still green, wide open, and full of lions from all walks of life. If there was one place in the world that remained constant, it was here. He'd been worried the monotonous scenery would lose all charm after a while. It had happened before, why not now?

Because he was older now, that's why.

That was a fact he found harder to deny every time he pursued game. He'd woken up energized and inspired, but one hunt later, he was exhausted. He had an accidental run-in with a rock to prove it.

So lifted his head, and it was then he noticed the cub.

"What cha doing there, girly?"
