Kijani was just getting up.it was midday and he was going to awaken earlier and start wandering again, but being lazy seemed better then walking around aimlessly for a day. he sighed and continued to bask his dark brown fur in the sun. he sniffed around him, east, west, north, south, and looked about, nothing in sight, as usual. But it was alright, he had a general mistrust of others, mostly strangers. he wouldnt be too awful or mean in any way, karma could be horrible at times.
But he could either choose to be alluring, or deceitful, both being second nature to him. He huffed at himself, and rolled his eyes. after that, there was silence. just, silence. It was his friend, especially since he didnt hunt very often, so when he did he always begged for silence to be on his side. again, he rolled his eyes, and stared off into the distance.Kathryn Dragonna its terribly short, but it happens ;3

Maleficar dragged her kill along trying to find a nice spot to enjoy it without a bunch of pesky hyenas showing up to steal her prize. Usually she would have just hunted something small like a hare or a bird right now and eaten quickly and more often, but she had desired something bigger, and thus a klipspringer had become her catch this time. She decided that dragging the thing was really just a pain so she picked it up and put it on her back to carry as she went. The leopardess found a nice spot, ignoring the male already there and looking lazy as hell, and started to eat. she was quite aware of his presence, but for the moment she had no use of him. If he spoke then perhaps she would find one for him. Males were fun to toy with, but when one was hungry there were other things to take one's time. The leopardess was quite proud of what she had caught. It was nice and fat.

Kijani looked over at the leopardess with her kill, looking proud as ever. he rolled his eyes lamely at her, and gave a small snort, he was obviously not going to be the nicest, so he simply sat there, not inviting himself over, and waiting until she finished eating her fatty klipspringer, proud as hell, over in her spot near him. He simply didn't care.
The other side of him, spoke differently though. on one hand, he could use his alluring, loving, caring side and be nice, start up a conversation, and maybe even get a little meal out of the deal. on the other hand, he could roll his eyes, be as snarky and even rude as he wanted, hell, all rouges were sometimes like that, and this one, she seemed like the kind of rouge that likes to toy with the other, so what would the use be to have used the nicer side of himself. He huffed a little and stopped thinking about that.

Maleficar found the huffing rather annoying really. "If you keep huffing like that, you will get a bug up your nose." She hoped when he did he suffocated on it for making such annoying noises while she was eating. She went back to her food, eating what she wanted and painting a bit of blood on herself. She loved the feel of blood on her fur and that was the wonderful part about being away from Dysi. As much as she missed him when she was, she did not have to worry about how mean and downright evil she was.
The pansy might get her to be the nice leopardess when he was around, but she tried her darnedest to resist it when he wasn't around. She had noticed just how much he had swayed her to being less cruel, and she was back to resisting full force. She did not like change and she would fight it tooth and claw. Well, she would fight it for now. Eventually, she had a feeling she was going to just give in and be more grumpy than evil, but alas, this is what that stupid love thing did to a leopardess.

He looked over to her "seems like a bug flew up your butt, considering your attitude, sourpuss" he mused. he chuckled a little. he decided not to talk that much, not like he wanted to anyways, but because, the more you talked, the more you were labeled a wuss. he rolled his eyes at his thoughts, and washed his paws, and his face to wake him up a bit more, so he wasnt feeling as lethargic.

Maleficar laughed at the male, a rather cruel sound coming from her, and left the rest of her kill sit for the moment. "Have you eaten yet, sharp tongue? I am willing to share since I find you amusing." She liked the fact that this male was snarky and mean. It made her feel quite at home sitting here near him. She found amusement in his comments, and that was both useful and worth repaying as far as the female was concerned. Since she had food, she figured that a meal might be a good payment for the entertainment this male offered.
Maleficra could not think of the last time she had found a male so amusing that did not come off as an idiot. It really was a rare occasion. Pansy was not an idiot, but he was a rather sad sort of amusing and she would rather not think of that right now. His softness was... disconcerting and she wanted no part of it if she could help it. The current company certainly was not soft. There was a sort of ill tempered kinship here, if she did say so herself and she liked it.

He shared a laugh with her, and walked over a little closer. "sure, i would share a meal, not much of a hunter, myself. May i ask your name, soupuss?" he wandered closer to the kill and slumped is body down to the hard, dry ground once again. He smelt the metallic scent of blood in the air, though it was more noticeable when around the carcass. But he didnt mind it, and he would even do as the soupuss might do, paint blood across his muzzle, if he hadnt wanted to mess up his well groomed coat. He decided brow was a better color on him.
He scanned the carcass up and down, looking for a good spot to take a chuck out of, and he found a good meaty spot near the ribs, and bit. Delicious fatty taste filled his mouth, and he held back a cheesy grin. he hadnt eaten in a while, and found himself rather hungry once he took a bite, so he took another, but smaller this time, after all, it wasnt his kill.

Maleficar watched the male with a smug smile. This male was more to what she would have imagined herself ending up with than Dysi. Why did she have to fall for the pansy? Well what was done was done, she couldn't change how she felt, but at least she could try to enjoy this male's company while she had it. She knew she'd head back to Dysi eventually, but such was the way of things with her. She had to force her thoughts away from Dysi yet again and tried not to let her inner irritation with herself show. "I am Malleus Maleficarum. My mother called me Maleficar." Mostly because it had been easier to yell when the leopardess had been irritated at her daughter, but Maleficar had chosen to keep the nickname just like she had chosen to follow her mother's darker ways and teachings. Her mother was dear to the dark leopardess, even after so long away. "Catching something and killing it is one of the most basic pleasures in life. Even if you are not skilled at the task, it should be an enjoyable thing." Maleficar could not understand anyone not wanting to hunt so she took the male's comment as being he was not very skilled at it. Such things happened, since not all were equally skilled at everything. The leopardess did like the way the male held himself back on eating. Smart male, keeping from too eagerly munching down a kill not his own. He had manners so to speak. "Eat what you like, I can always catch more later." Bloo Starr sorry about how long this took, I finally got a moment to sit down and do tags today

Kijani nodded his head, and took another bite of the carcass. he only took a couple more, and decided that was enough. "glad you shared a meal with me" he looked up to the sky, and it was only midday. "Maleficar...not a name i've heard before, but it suits you, sourpuss" he chuckled, he quite liked giving nicknames. He sighed, with his now satisfied stomach, and flopped over to his side. "so, where are you off to after this?" he was curious, and she didnt have to tell him anything, he was just making conversation he guessed.
His eyes were getting heavier...sleep, it sounded nice...No! he couldnt let his gaurd down that easily, it was stupid, and the last thing he was, was stupid. he sighed at his sleepy thoughts and wondered if sourpuss was getting tired as well, and if she might leave soon. Kijani knew deep inside he didnt want her to leave, she was good company, and they had somewhat similar personalitys.

"Here and there, where ever my paws carry me." Maleficar knew the sleepy look on the male's face, but was quite amazed how well he was fighting that urge to sleep after a meal. "I do a lot of traveling... but I really should be off to find myself a nice spot to sun for a while. Unless you find yourself in need of a strong leopardess to teach you to hunt properly." She grinned cheekily at the other leopard. She wouldn't have said no to some other kind of company from him, but with as tired as he was starting to look, it was best to let him get some sunning and napping in. Maleficar flicked her tail under the male's nose as she started to walk around him, and then off to start on her way. "You can keep the meal for later." Mostly because she didn't want to drag it with her, and she could get something else later quite easily. The fact that she was helping out this male even this much showed just how much Dysi had gotten into Maleficar's head. Leave it to a Pansy to soften her up like this, oh well, she would just have to tell herself it was because the male was handsome and she wanted him alive to play with later. Bloo Starr I apologize profusely for this delay. I had a muse strike from Maleficar for a while.

Kathryn Dragonna hehe, thats fine. RL gets in the way sometimes. Should we finish this one up and maybe get another one started where Maleficar teaches Kijani to hunt? just a thought c: Kijani smiled at her, and was greatful for her to give him the meal. He saw a dog not far off, eyeing the kill carefully, but staying well hidden, it looked scared of Kijani's somewhat muscular body. He sighed inside, and ripped off a peice of the meal sourpuss had hunted, He went over to where the dog was skulking around, and threw the meat to it. They met eyes for a moment, and Kijani could tell that was the right thing to do. "Well...I could use someone to help me hunt, if you dont mind me tagging along?" He liked company sometimes, and these Leopards were actually simliar, why waste it?
Kijani stretched out a bit, and took the last large bite out of the carcass, leaving the rest for vultures to pick off. It wasnt a waste, most of it had been eaten. He then walked over to Maleficar as to catch up with her. he woud at least try to tag along until sourpuss gave him an answer.

Maleficar gave the male a look over her shoulder when he suggested tagging along. Having him around would not be so bad, would it? She could not see why it would be a bother, so she would just have to allow it until he got annoying, if he got annoying. The female flicked her tail lazily. "If you are tagging along, you best be able to keep up. I only travel slowly when I am stalking prey." Or resting, but that would come later when she found the perfect perch for a nap. "Perhaps my hunting skills will soak into your pretty little hide if you stick around." Maleficar gave the male a rather sharp toothed smile. Smiling was not something she did very often, and when she did it looked a bit unnatural and creepy. She was trying to be nice to the male, hoping he would prove to be a fun little distraction in more ways than one. It was good to be her. Bloo Starr I say we call it closed here
