ThemeAs stated in the introduction, this contest has only one theme, but different as each month passes. So what sort of theme fit in that description? Well, that's very simple. The theme for this contest is
Monthly Collectibles. With each month passes, we get new MC items. And since we have tons of Monthly Collectibles, I will be listing down the MC, based by the month they appeared.
How to EnterInterest to participate, but don't know how? No need to worry. It's very simple and easy. All you have to do is create an avatar from Tektek's
Dream Avatar with the current theme items and once done, PM me your entry under the title
"Year-Long Tektek Avatar Contest." Participation will be opened in the beginning of the month and ends at the 20th day. Once participation is over, voting poll will be opened and will end at the end of the month. Due to the voting setting in Gaia, only ten contestants are allowed to participate. So it's a first comes, first serves.
What's this? No entry fee? You got that right. There is no entry fee for this contest. So no need to build up your gold just to enter.
Prizes will be given to the best entry who has the most votes. First prize is 20k, second is 10k, third is 5k, and those who enter receive 500 gold.
RulesNow what kind of contest this be without rules? Here are some of the rules you need to follow when participating:
No Cash Shop items - As much as everyone wants to make an excellent avatar, we can't have Cash Shop items (ie: RIG, CI, EI, REI, etc) in this contest. The theme is Monthly Collectibles and we don't want it to be overshadowed by other CS items.
Gold Shop and Event items are allowed - Gold Shop and event items are allowed to be used since those don't overshadow the theme of the contest. In addition, we don't want our entry to be naked. >>
You can use the same item twice - The maximum number to use the same item (item that has multiple poses) is two. Can't be more than three. Only two. I'm aware that the later MC has complete set of the outfit and it seems too easy and unfair if you use all the complete set to enter.
Using Dream Free is allowed - If there's a layer you want to fix on your entry, you can use the Dream Free to fix it.
Must send me the link of your entry - This is very important as I like to see if you're following the rules or not. When you finish your entry, you need to send me the link so I can see the list of items you use. That way, I can be sure that you didn't use CS items as well as using the MC items.
