Hana hesitated, his enclosed fist inches away from knocking at the door. There were numerous reasons as to his pause. For one, he feared that if he did so the thing would come falling off of it's hinges. That was just rude. For another, he doubted the boy he searched for was even here, what with everything going on in the city. He doubted that the apartments distance would matter for such matters. He knocked anyway, heaving a sigh after a minute passed with no answer. It would seem he would have to wait. How this would test his already tested patience, he wasn't sure... The Kishin wished he had a cigarette. It had been an exhaustingly long day, and he was requiring some form of rest. Though the anger had long been subdued, he could still feel its tinge, its hindering pain residing in his mind. It was progressively getting worse, corrupting his already tampered mind... However...there was something else. Something that stirred him besides this painful feeling... Beside him, a small centipede crawled across his foot. It soon received a swift stomp of demise. "Insects..." he muttered in disgust, closing his eyes in wait.

She did so very slowly as she opened her balled hand, looking once more at the small slip of paper that had been given to her by Dominik. She looked at the address written on it and looked up at the building before her, acknowledging the identical address. She stepped up to the door very slowly, thinking to herself for a moment before making another action.
She was nervous, as she was almost always so. Thoughts racing in her mind of what would happen next. She knew that meisters and their weapon partners always shared an apartment. This frightened her more than almost anything. It was not a fear of living with another person, particularly a male. She did not worry about such silly things. It was more of a fear of being around someone so much. Other than her father, she spent very little time near anyone. She inhaled and let out a heavy sigh, making her mind up that she would do this. She raised her hand and tapped lightly on the door before taking a step back, not to leave, but to distance herself slightly in hopes it would help her nerves, even if only a little ✭►☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗◄✭ 【✭►"..."Please relieve me of this loneliness..."◄✭】 ✭►☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗◄✭ ((O.O.C: Welcome Back!!!)) ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Maximum Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Under Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Sitting. Waiting. Thinking. From just resting upon his couch in the middle of a bulwark of books and literature, Dominik was doing so much from just the appearance of doing so little. His mind was full of thoughts, decisions and a complicated reasoning he had with himself now adding in his new so called "partner". 'Was it the smartest thing for me to do? Should there have been a better decision for me to make? Is this choice going to bite me in the a** like everything else in life...?' The young meister didn't know what to think at this point. The deed was done. He had a partner and unless he wished to be impolite and make another person in this world have negative feelings and thoughts towards him he would have to deal with the impulsive decision he made. Though Dominik focused on the negative, he missed over the positives of his choice for choosing Faiyth as his partner. For some reason he was able to quell the corrosion WITH her, making his thoughts about his very soul turn to questions to comprehend some type of answer he could squeeze out from his extensive knowledge on soul compositions. This was his one in a million chance to make a positive impact on his soul, and there was no way he could pass up the offer. Instincts of survival dictated his decision and now he had to stick by it with the lurking fear of his soul falling into madness and despair.
As the thoughts continued to race through his mind there was a sudden but light tap at his door. Someone had arrived and there was only one person that it could be. Dominik inhaled a deep breath to help clear his mind of any second thoughts he had up into this point. The decisions were set into stone and there was just no possible way for him to change the flow of events. From this point on he had a partner; someone who knows of the pain of isolation and solitude just as much as he did. A sigh escaped his lips as the young meister stood up to start his walk for the door. Dominik's mind quickly cleared as his head leaned forward to see though the peep hole. It was no surprise that he had seen Faiyth's figure standing in the hallway, looking as if she was almost petrified with fear. With a slight nervous gulp, the meister reached for the door handle and turned it with slight hesitation. Pulling the door open he took a glimpse again at Faiyth, only to advert his eyes in a quick shift of his thoughts. Wanting to say something appealing or welcoming, Dominik couldn't find the words to do so and instead took a step aside and rose his hand up with a gesture for her to enter. The hand was bandaged up, neatly wrapped and placed across the wound he had just suffered from before the two's meeting here at the miester's apartment. "You're welcomed to come in, unless the hallway is more appealing..." There was an obvious nervous tone in his voice, never actually letting someone in here before other than himself and the landlord on his first day here. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She remained in place, silent as can be, even her breathing completely silent as she looked at the face of her new partner. After realizing she was supposed to respond she broke her silence, though her nervousness was still evident in her voice "Th-thank you" she said politely, stepping over the threshold into the apartment.
She looked around the first room she had stepped into, which looked to be the main room of the apartment. It wasn't extremely large, but it looked to be of a comfortable size. Her attention, however, was quickly set upon the shelves upon shelves of books and other literature. 'Amazing' her mind raced over the many subjects contained on the shelves. It was the second largest collection of literature she had ever seen, with the largest being in the Academy library. She turned back to her meister, a smile on her face that showed no signs of being forced, and the apparent nervousness she had shown previously had begun to diminish, however slightly "Your collection of books is amazing"

҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Maximum Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Under Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Dominik watched as his partner entered with an aura of nervousness around her. He could painfully feel the awkward vibe that she gave off and it in turn caused him to feel slightly uncomfortable even in his own home. His good hand reached to grasp on his shirt sleeve in an attempt to alleviate the feeling, but to no avail. Simply closing the door as slowly as he had opened it Dominik crossed his arms, snugging the coat to his body as he began to walk in towards te center of the room. He looked back to see Faiyth in awe of his large assortment of books that lined almost every wall in the room. "A lot of these books were from my family's old library.. he said, looking at her only to shift his eyes in another direction. "Majority of them now are books I use for research and studies, the others I just have for when I get spare time." He began walking over to the only other room in the apartment besides the main room and bathroom. "Over here is the room I use for studying, not much in here though besides the bathroom..." The meister took a small pause to look around the room, spotting the 'kitchen' "Over there is where I make anything food or tea related..." After that being said, there was another awkward pause as Dominik was trying to find words to say but it was no use. He wasn't used to having anyone over and the thought of having shown someone his quarters felt out of place for him.
"Well that's all there is to my... home..." Dominiks stood there, tightening the grip he hand on his coat almost looking as if he were cold. The truth was he was nervous beyond belief. From being out of his comfort zone and having thoughts jumble through his mind cause him to just feel slightly ill. He quickly took a seat on the couch in the same spot he was before opening the door, trying to quell the riot of feelings that stirred in his mind. It didn't take long for him to look up at Faiyth for a little bit of guidance, a look of confusion and uneasy emotions in his eyes. This was probably the closest type of relation he's had with a person in years and he just couldn't understand what he was feeling or what was going through his head at this time. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She looked carefully at everything, taking in all of what the apartment had to offer. Everything was perfectly clean and well kept. Nothing out of place. She smiled briefly as it reminded her of her fathers place where she had been staying. Her own room was as organized as this place was. Following Dominik brought more questions into her mind, but they were questions that made her nervous, and the last thing she wanted to do was cause tension. She thought of how meisters and their partners shared apartments, but she was too nervous to bring this question forth.
She looked down at her meister after he took a seat on his couch, her nervousness brought back as she watched him stare up at her as if waiting for her to break the silence or something. ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Maximum Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Under Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Receiving the same question he asked for an answer to from Faiyth was not in the slightest surprising to Dominik. The two were matched in being socially awkward, never truly used to the company of another but they were still bonded by that difference they shared. The miester could only think on the effects their souls created when coming into contact with each other and what talents this girl held secret to herself. Trying to figure things out like it were a puzzle, Dominik tried to remind himself that she wasn't just some girl to progress his studies on the cure for his soul and instead as his partner; the weapon that he could wield to create their story together and ultimately tear apart the grip of isolation and depression that encased their lives until now. With those thoughts in mind the meister looked back at his partner and gave a slight smile, not noticing that his lips formed on their own. The young man stood to his feet, readying his words to try and start a conversation. The feeling of discomfort wrapped around his chest quickly as he thought to choose his words carefully not to make an awkward situation more than it already was.
Before Dominik could even open his mouth to get a word out, there was a small knock on the front door. His demeanor quickly changed as his eyes darted over to the door. Thoughts raced through his head quickly as he tried to discern who would even dare knock on his door when the only invited guest was already inside. 'Impossible to be the landlord, I already paid for the next 2 month's rent in advance... All of the neighbors know full well not to even disturb me at any time...' This entire situation bugged him to the fullest. The only kind of person to come knocking would be someone that wasn't a resident but knew who he was, which was a huge problem. If someone knew about him and where he lived, what else could they know? Keeping his soul in check was of top priority, but after what happened earlier with Faiyth who knows what he could possibly have stirred up in Death City. Dominik lightly creeped to the door, slow and silent. Reaching his head forward his right eye peer out through the glass peep hole that laid in the top center of the door like any normal apartment building standard. On the other side of the door stood a man with a strange haircut and even stranger demeanor to boot. Dominik didn't like this one bit. An unwelcome feeling wrenched his heart as he cursed under his breath in his native tongue. "Verdammt... Das wird wohl nicht gut enden..." He quickly put the chain bolt on the door and opened it just a slight crack, peering out of the opening that the chain allowed. "Might I ask you to state the business you have here in knocking on my door?" he called out, a hint of anger in his voice along with the sense that he was greatly annoyed in the fact that someone had disturbed him from something important. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

For a while, Hana had remained motionless, unmoved. A position of upmost concentration. It was something he had mastered over his travels in an effort to quell his torrential anger. Of course, it would never work on a moving environment and ground, but it did its purpose. However, he was getting restless. He considered making some busy activity of himself: reading, tending to the rip where the heat had earlier scorched his leg, something along those lines that would likely induce anger. Instead, he told himself patience, patience, patience- Then the door opened. Hana blinked at this. In reality it was all he could do but blink. He had been waiting so long. So. Dreadfully long. Now that the boy had finally opened the door, he didn't know what to expect. He didn't really know how to respond. So, in essence, he stood for a little, somewhat blank faced, the question seemingly whizzing over his head. But then he just as suddenly remembered what he was here for. And that was quite a lot. Tenderly, he lifted his hand, extending his index finger and just as gently pushed at the door seemingly bolted shut by the night-chain. And, just a steady amount of pressure... Hana heard the lock tear off of it's foundations, leaving the archway strewn open and empty. The Kishin returned his gaze back to the boy, who, though without so barely even knowing him, reminded him of himself. From the view of the apartment he had, it appeared that this halfling was quite the intellectual. Books of all authors, colors and creeds. It almost rivaled the library Hana had kept over the years. But his tightened expression suggested nothing so reminiscent. Only cold, calmly kept temper. "Only my business with you," he said, asserting himself inside and in front of Dominik. Though he didn't tower over the other, it was still quite obvious who the larger was. "I am here to tell you this and this alone." "You are to come with me. Immediately." Currently, Hana was unaware of the weapon in the room...

Her ability to sense souls was not impressive, but even she got a strange feeling from this newcomer, despite not being able to see him. She remained out of sight until he spoke. His tone, as she heard it, had suggested he wasn't going to be friendly, and even if he was she worried about Dominik's soul, and how it would react to this. Without another thought, her demeanor changed and she stepped around the corner, stopping at her meisters side and stared up at the kishin who had nearly a foot of height over her, but she remained vigilant in her stand, showing no sign of fear. ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Moderate Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Steady Increase╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ The turn of events took to the worst exceptionally fast. In just a few moments the man had ripped the door from it's locked position flinging shards of wood across the room in a flashy display of the man's hidden might. Thoughts seemed to stop dead in their tracks within Dominik's mind, only to travel in different tangents and directions as to planning on the situation at hand. The man easily stood around his height but it felt like a tower loomed its' shadow over the miester, a chilling feel climbing up his spine quickly. In the wake of his shock and awe, the young man took a step back, only just now noticing his partner by his side. Seeing her short stature staring down the man who had just practically crushed his door in tangled the thoughts that gathered in his head. They had only known each other for such a short time and already she was geared to lay down her life to protect him. Dominik couldn't understand it, but he had to deal with not knowing her reasoning as there was an immediate threat bearing its' fangs right at their face. Setting aside his fear for the time being, he had to collectively think on something to do, as he couldn't stand by and lay over for the intruder.
There was no way to weave around what needed to be done. A fight in here would not only trash his vital collection of research and literature, but keep the three confined in a small space; Dominik had to get away and fast with Faiyth to the streets for a more open battleground. Getting past the man wouldn't be easy for him, but there was another way he could make it. With a sigh the miester regretted the decision, but it was the only one he could make at this time. A single thought is all it took to lower the protection on his soul, letting the corrosion slightly grab a hold of him in a controlled amount. Pain trickled in his chest, but it amounted to nothing as Dominik readied his body and mind for a fight. With a quick sweep of his leg the young man tripped over his companion, swiftly catching her in his arms bridal style before darting past the man in almost a blink of the eye. Momentum carried Dominik as he jumped down the flight of stairs that lead to his door only to spear through a large window that lead into the alleyways. The meister landed on the ground and continued to run off, but at a much slower speed than what he just displayed to the Kishin. He looked at his partner, a determined look plastered on his face not to give in. "Just so you know, you might have to deal with a little more pain today..." Dominik wanted to give an apology in advance if anything happened, but he would try his best to keep anything dangerous from befalling his partner. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ [[Exit]]

She looked to him with a worried expression, but that was shortlived as she then found herself falling to the floor when her meister swept her legs from under her. It had caught her completely off guard. She instinctively reached to grab something to catch her fall, her speed impressive given the short fall she had. She clutched the chest of his shirt, but was immediately pulled from her fall and found herself bridal style in his arms. It was an awkward feeling, but it wasn't bad. There was a sort of comfort she felt in his hold, a feeling of protection.
She felt her body press tighter against his as he ran past the kishin with incredible speed. Her mind did not comprehend fully what was happening, but she looked up in time to see they were heading for a window. She tucked her head down against the mans chest as the meister had jumped through it and soon they were in the alleyway, still moving away at a slower pace than before. She smiled up as he spoke of what might happen and she moved her arm, grasping his hand with her own and her body began to glow a soft cyan in colour. Within seconds she had transformed into her weapon form, a crystal white katana slid within a pure black sheath that was now firmly within the meisters hand where the girls' hand had just been. She had been light in weight when he carried her human form, but now he would easily notice how little her weapon form weighed, however the sheath was extremely strong and the katana nearly cool to the touch 'Then we will deal with it together' she spoke to him through her soul ✭►☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗◄✭ 【✭►"..."Please relieve me of this loneliness..."◄✭】 ✭►☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗◄✭ ((O.O.C: Alleyways topic in the Death City subforum next I'm guessing?)) '...what.' At this point in time, that was the last comprehensible thought that had went through Hana's head. The Kishin knew of the boy's belated attributes and abilities, knew that he should have counteracted, knew that he should have reacted and expected such a response. But none of these thoughts were discernible. They were all intertwined and conjoined, all brought about together in a hideous, cacophonous slurry of sight and sound. It was painful, it was unbearable, it was madness. Like a bass drum, it pounded repeatedly, without mercy, without relief. Was it like this every time he experienced anger. Did it always hurt this much? Was it always going to be like this. He stuttered forward, trying to cling to something, his hands tearing up and through the walls, only dragging him down further and further to the broken shards in the middle of the room, next to the boy's library. Eventually, however, those conjoined thoughts formed into one word. 'JUSTIFY' Hana's expression remained the same. He managed to straighten himself in an upright posture. Yes. The thoughts formed about this word. They moved in their torrential pattern, focused upon it. He would. He would. With an outstretched arm, his hand rested upon the top of the hefty shelves, filled with rows upon rows of those books that he and Dominik so deadly adored. Tearing the entire structure in half was only a fraction of appeasement for his suffering. The Kishin known as the Judgement sent out a mighty scream, his maddening, enraging wavelengths extending throughout the area, extending his legs back and shooting out through the gap at a dizzying speed, leaving a bit of an impact crater. He would have this boy, oh yes. He would have him. Whether in body or in soul. ((EXIT TO somewhere or another, I dunno))
