_________APPEARANCE ▪▫ Riobard is a half-white half-hispanic [tanned] male with a fairly muscular frame brought on by sheer hard work. Mid chest-length hair of pitch black and a chin strap with a longer goatee and mustache combo adorned his face with an accompaniment of a bit of stubble. This, when accompanied with a rugged jaw, chiseled features and a firmly toned body give Riobard a rather manly aura upon physical inspection. The Latin gamer has two stretched earlobes with gauges and a tongue ring as well as a large back piece tattoo and a single tattoo on his arm. Usually adorning himself in nothing but black, he gets quite a lot of looks when he goes out, especially when combined with his height and muscular build.
_________PERSONALITY ▪▫ Riobard is rather aloof and silly often, though he has a genuine and sincere heart. He spent a lot of his past hiding behind lies and confusing himself in great detail much so to the point where he had to finally put his foot down and say 'Enough is enough.' After this point, he turned over a new leaf and began trying to be as much of an open book and honest as possible, making life easier an much less complicated. He's a very straight forward and down to earth sort of guy with a big heart, though he can get rather heated at times as well. He can be rather direct and though he doesn't fly off the handle, his mood fluctuates between irritated/angry and joyous, though he tends to throw up a facade of the latter even when in the face of the former mentioned.
_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫ Riobard grew up in a poor family with his six younger siblings. As the oldest, he was sort of forced to grow up faster. He learned to steal. He learned to do whatever it took to help his mother get by. And most importantly, he learned to lie about it all as to not make her worry. Riobard had little time to focus on himself or find out what he wanted, he had other people to worry about. His father worked nearly all the time and had little time to spend with the family, so Riobard was forced to step it up all throughout his childhood, even as a young boy.

As Riobard became of age, he got a job doing some manual labor and began to earn enough money to dig the family slowly, but surely out of their overwhelming debt. From the ages of 12 years old to eighteen years old, Riobard lived this life. He would wake up, go to work, get off of work, head to a second job and then come home and eat and sleep, and wake up to do the same thing the next day. Little break, even working through weekends and holidays, it was intense physical work and he had little time to spend on himself, or to spend making friends, or anything in general.

This ended when he made enough money for his family to be well off on their own, their father even ending up with a promotion due to the time and effort he'd put into his work. Now not having to worry about his family so much, Riobard had time to spend on himself, and decent pocket change to do so with. (At this point having cut back on work, however, to only one not-overwhelming job.) Unsure how to do this and no real life friends to spend this with, he turned to something he'd always been curious about looking into. Video games. He'd first started off with normal RPGs, but quickly excelled at them. At a surprising rate, which showed that Riobard not only had a tough body, but a sharp mind to boot. He quickly moved on to MMORPGs before the emergence of NerveGear and the like. After moving out, Rio began getting even more into these games, go so far as to join up with a guild that had been established for a little while by the name of Twilight Arbor. Riobard was one of the later joining members who only had time to make his way in, get situated and start making friends before the guild fell apart. The latin gamer was heartbroken. Firstly, he couldn't believe there were jerks like that out there, and secondly he was disappointed that he'd began to invest so much of his time into the guild and then for it to fall apart like that was just disheartening.

Though, perhaps this was all a blessing in disguise. Riobard moved on in the game with a lack luster passion, keeping little contact with any of the other members who moved on. He tried to make the best of the break, bt it really wasn't the same. A lot of the member's hearts just weren't in it anymore, and no matter how hard Rio tried, he had been left behind. He always was one of the types to never go down until the ship's horse was beaten 'til it sunk. Riobard never was too good at metaphors, either. The Latin gamer continued to game hop for a while, trying to get situated, but without the right friends, nothing felt right. None of the games felt right. What he really sought was a chance to try something new. Something different. To figure out what he really liked what he really wanted. Gaming was a way for Riobard to make up on lost time of his childhood and really discover himself.

That was until one day when his searching for new games allowed him to stumble across the news of the up and coming game to be released with it's own complete virtual reality~ Sword Art Online. It was a must have for Riobard, and he eventually did receive the game, he was ready to dive in and see if he couldn't shake himself out of this funk he'd been in as far as the gaming world went. He was ready to give this game his all and really delve into who 'Riobrand' really was.

_________APPEARANCE ▪▫ Apollo opted for a bit of a younger appearance when he was creating his avatar. (Though, not by much.) The avatar is similar in appearance to Riobard himself, but far less hairy overall and a bit less rugged. Shorter and choppier black hair resting upon the head whilst earrings of sort dangle from ears that would lie stretched on Riobard's real form. In lieu of the full black beard strapped upon the Latin gamer's chin, Apollo would have a black goatee instead. In place of Rio's large and muscular body was now a smaller, sleeker and more toned body, though he still remained rather tall, standing in just half a foot under his actual height. His body also being littered with many markings and tattoos makes for a rather unique avatar for Riobrand to have chosen. Especially given his disposition to chose more masculine and larger / bulkier avatars.
