Kumogakure has taken care of this ancient turtle for a long time. It serves as a training ground for kumo nin, and is described as a moving fortress. The island turtle houses large animals as well as other natural man made structues, for example, Killer B's old home (Now the former Raikage's vacation home). It is said that it is considered to be Konoha's Forrest of Death's equal. The island is a big mound of danger, seeing as there's ferocious vicious beasts roaming freely, signs of death and battles everywhere. The shell is able to endure powerful techniques. The thrity-six layered self-repairing barrier was once placed around the island to keep Naruto and Killer B within.

The Raikage's vacation home.

-The Falls of Truth: A waterfall on the Island Turtle. Killer B trained to control the Eight-Tails. There is a platform at its base and if a person concentates, he or she will be transported into their mind. The waterfall will become a mirror which reflects your true self. This is the first step to train to control the tailed beast. Behind the waterfall, there is a temple where jinchuriki take the next step in controlling their beast.

-Tailed Beast Temple: The temple is located right behind the fall of truth. There are murals all the large back wall, depicting the eight and two-tailed beasts. Within, there are two chambers in which the jinchuuriki will try to gain control over their bijuus. The entrance way to chamber number one has a sculpture of the two-tails head. Inside it's mouth is a switch with is only accessible through entering head first. The chamber was made to hold a tailed beast inside, just in case the jinchuuriki fails to gain control and allows the beast to be reborn; keeping it locked up until a new suitable jinchuuriki appears. The second chamber is called the Chakra Isolation Chamber which is located behind the statue of the Eight-Tails' head. Killer B has said that nobody is able to chakra beyond the walls of the chamber- but Naruto as nine-tails, detected Kinkaku.
