For all of you loverly Gaian folk who live in Ontario *or could afford a visit to Ontario Canada*, why not go to the Anime North Convention taking place at the Toronto Convention Center in May! Cons rock! I've only been to one (twice) and that was Animazement in Durham, NC. ((And if anyone's going this year pm me. sweatdrop )) But the best thing is not the merchandise or the cool events...but for me it was seeing fellow Anime geeks on the same level, on a newbie level, and on a whole nother plane as I, enjoying things together. I didn't know (and my family would have me still not know) that there are others who are just as geeky as I am. When hundreds of us are sitting in the conference room watching a Trigun cosplay chanting "Love and Peaceu!" you can't help but feel the love. ^_^ If you have the money...go to a con. And if you don't go anyway...just don't go in the dealer room. It'll hurt your heart. sweatdrop

It's not for sure that I'm going yet, it all depends on whether I have someone to go along with me, and I'd like to go and meet my Gaian buddies there, not just meet people I haven't talked to, plus I have to make sure I have someone to watch the girls. I may even dress up like my avatar, but if it's going to cost me an arm or a leg to get/make my outfit, then I'm just going to go in my regular clothes. I hope that you do come, this extends to the rest of you loverly people as well ^_^ heart

How much does it cost to get in and do you need to buy tickets beforehand or can you pay at the door? BTW here is how to get there from my house. So unless it is cheap I won't be going....
