AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM
Name: Molan'darui Erelic Threepwood
Nicknames: Mole (His brother calls him that.) // Molan (He doesn't give out his full name like most demons.)) // Jingle Bells? (Someone is going to do this, I'm sure, after they hear those bells enough times.))
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Faction: Demon
Race: Isukun
Isukun are a type of fox demon. Unlike kitsunes they do not grow any more tails. They can be noted for having a fox's ears and tail as well as a set of horns. These horns are typically ice-like in color and sometimes have frost around them. Isukuns are a more cold climate demon, thus are a bit more fluffy than your typical fox demon. As well they can as times have other ice-like features, but it's usually small things.
Their ear/tail colors are typically white, gray, or pale blues. They should never be darker colors. They are usually solid colors, not tipped or marked in any way.
Isukun can typically at some point learn to take on a fox form, some earlier than others. These forms are usually around the same size as a normal fox, just a touch larger. They will also still have their horns. Their coat will match their ears/tail and at times they may have darker/black tipped paws. Other than that they should typically be a solid color.
As a race they all will, by the age of 5-6, find something they are drawn to. They will to a degree feel a need to collect/have that item. It could be coins, rocks, fans, flowers, or just about anything. Typically it is NOT an animate object. But an Isukun is simply compelled to it and will usually be willing to bend over backwards to get said thing, to degrees. They won't do unreasonable things, but it's easy enough to bribe them with that item. Knowing what they want will help you out greatly if you want to get along with them. Because it means you won't make the mistake of taking that from them. Seriously, they get angry... or well it depends on the person, but they will NOT be happy with you.
As a race their specialty to induce fear into humans, or the reason they are feared so to speak is fairly simplistic. They tend to try to lure a human away from others(easier if they wander off on their own) in a more cold climate. Particularly locations where snow is already present. When said person is away from easily being noticed by another they will create the illusion of a snow storm/blizzard around that person. This is to create the thought they may now be lost hopelessly and never make it home. In truth the person may be wandering in circles for the time, or may actual progress, but the storm is merely around said person. The person is always released beforehand in truth(DON'T KILL THE CATTLE), but they are often blamed for people being lost in storms and never returning home.
IF someone were to be aware it was an Isukun(or believed it as such) they may attempt to 'bargain' with the demon for their life. By offering the single item they covet most. Some had said, in the past this worked to 'save their lives.' While this is rather difficult as they wouldn't know what one would want. It's merely legend as a way to 'escape' a storm. Some people in regions that believe in them will bargain for their lives in a such a case. And they say it worked. Who knows if it's true, or they were merely lucky.
Natural Ability:
Shapeshifting: He can shapeshift into a small foxlike form. These forms typically are similar to the colors of the ears and tail of the Isukun, and will have horns like that. Aside from that they're barely bigger than a normal fox and have about the same build. They are particularly fluffy and have a full coat all year round(like a winter coat). This means summer really does suck for him. Not particularly useful unless you want to sneak around and hopefully not be noticed. (How2sneakwithbells?)
Personality: To be entirely fair, he'd rather not bother with explaining this, but it seems required.
Molan prefers to observe rather than taking part in anything. As well he's not the most active person, nor does he like having to do things. He'd rather doze in a nice cool spot than worry about fighting with anyone. Mind you, if it's less work to just get it over with than deal with someone whining, pestering, and bothering him about it. He'll get it done. Perfectly. The first time. Because he can't be bothered to do it a second time. When he wants something done, he will do it as efficiently and quickly as possible. Then go relax and watch other people.
He's not particularly anti-social, but he doesn't have much to say. He's one to limit his words to what he can, and just stare if it's not even worth the effort. He doesn't mean to seem condescending with that, but it might come off as it. Seeing as he just more or less told someone they weren't worth the time it would take to issue a few words. So he may not be the best at making friends. He'd rather let his brother, who does so love to talk, do that for him to a degree. Which probably backfires a good bit as well, but it didn't take any real work from him. So same result, less trouble. A plus in his mind.
For a demon, he's probably less prideful than most in all truth. Seeing as, if you nudge at him enough, you can likely get him to agree to most anything. Which is how he ended up trying to enroll. His father argued him into it. He can be stubborn on specific things, but most basic everyday tasks he'll give in to. He won't go giving you his full name if you asked, but he'll probably help you wash dishes because you kept asking until he agreed. Giving in, at times, is just simpler than arguing with you. So he'll just cave if you're persistent enough. And he won't feel any shame in doing so.
If you do catch his interest enough for him to engage you in a conversation, and maybe a walk if you can convince him, he's rather curious and blunt. He loves to learn new things, find out about peoples pasts. He finds the world in all it's oddities rather intriguing, which is why he's often so busy just watching. He'll ask more about others than himself, and does tend to dislike giving out his own details. He actually finds himself rather boring, so he'd probably refuse unless he knew someone well. Or well, perhaps not boring, but having little to share. He finds his life dull because it's his own life, he lives it daily, there is nothing new or interesting about it. Everyone else are the fascinating things.
Any he considers a friend he would likely hold close, and possibly even get jealous over. Seeing as he'd rarely give someone the status, if they were too busy with others he'd likely grow a bit cross. He's just a bit possessive of things he likes. It's only normal for him. Though in truth he likely wouldn't do anything over it. Just pout and avoid them to return the favor. If approached he'd be blunt about his issue, but otherwise he'd likely sulk in quiet and add that to another reason he avoided being a part of things.
When it comes to friends, Molan can be somewhat social. He enjoys talking with those he's close with a lot more, choosing to chat with them and in general be more open about his own personal life and details. While he's not inclined to be an open book at all times, he's certainly not permanent shut in. He also does enjoy a joke here and there like anyone else, he's just not always sure where to place them. It just takes a bit before he's this casual with people, used to how he grew up. Which was as a home schooled politician's eldest son. He was to act respectable and not show too much weakness. Which he doesn't follow to a T, but he's just not the type to jump around at first meeting because of it. Once you have a place with him though, he doesn't like to let go of people and will actively seek them out.
In general he's fairly stoic, not expressing himself well at all. He can sometimes seem overly rude when he speaks because he won't sugar coat, and just says what he feels or sees. Again, saving feelings is too much effort, even for friends. Asking him a question will get you a truthful answer and opinion each time. Or silence. Because if he knows the backlash won't be worth being honest, he just won't say it. Then again, if they knew him, they'd know what that meant... same result, less effort?
He does have a few things he tends to adore more than most. Honestly, while he loves the cold. Dozing in the sun out in the ice is a favourite of his. He loves bright sunlight as long as it's cold out, and thinks it rather wonderful
He also loves bells above anything else. All kinds. While he particularly wears the rounded ones, he loves them for the sounds they make. The rounded ones just make his favourite sound, so he wears them most. Honestly, trying to make peace with him is simple. Give him another bell for his collection. And if you want all out war... steal from his collection. That's one way to get a reaction from him. No seriously. He loves these things. I'm sure his father bribed him with a bell to agree to enroll.
It's practically a currency with him. 'x bells to get him to agree to that.' Just ask his family.
Note: This is a racial/species trait. Each Isukun will covet some physical object(usually small things) to a ridiculous level. They usually end up knowing what it is by around 5-6. It's fine as long as you don't take it from them, but if you do it probably won't be pretty.
//Note: Molan is Etzer's(Kanth's character) older half brother. This has been disccussed by both Kanth and I. Thus when mentioning his brother, that's who I mean.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? It's to be expected. His father had been trying to get him to follow the tradition as such for a while, but due to his family he'd... ignored it? At this point, he's just kind of given in and decided to enroll.
FEAR Ability:
Ice Storm: Gambler's Chance
Molan's specialty is small storms. While not high in damage, they do work to wear down on people over time. These would probably have more of a chilling effect and small cuts from shards. But they can't be turned into anything concentrated(like something that could be used as a projectile.) The size would probably be enough for a single person to start and the larger would lower the time he could keep any sort of thing up. As well, practice is certainly necessary to perfect it, so he does sometimes just lose the ability to hold it solid for long.
Keep in mind, this ability is a double edged sword. It CAN hit allies as well as foes. An area attack isn't bound to just one side of things. So if another student walked into the storm it would hit them. It would hit Molan too if he was in the area, while the cold wouldn't bother him, he's not immune to being cut by ice either.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Sky Blue
Hair Colour/Style: White
Skin Colour: Pale peach
Clothing Style/Colours: Older fashioned japanese style things, kind of a men's kimono. Also bells. He loves bells. Bells make the best sounds ever. He usually has these in his hair, and a few on his clothes. And one on his tail too often times. No srsly. Bells.
Extra: He has horns that curve toward the back and have sort of 'frost at the base of them. Also he tends to have some frost/ice around his eyes. If this is an ok adaptation I'd love to keep it as well. As well the ears and tail, which are sort of fluffy and white.
References: He will actually not have the wings at all. So disregard those. This is an adaptation of an OC so these are from that actual OC.
