Artemis has a spunk attitude and personality. She does not let others push her down, and if she feels bullied, she'll retaliate and make sure that others know she means business. She has alot of self confidence, and always makes an appearance to see if people notice her. Under her exterior attitude, she is very kind and very caring. She'll make sure others are healthy and safe.
_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫
Artemis grew up in a family that became broken at her age of 5. Her mother was left alone in the streets and Artemis along by her side. Artemis's father laughed at the thought of allowing his ex-wife and her daughter from having any money that was to his name. After living alone on the streets for months, Artemis and her mother managed to find shelter and start their lives over. They grew to love their new friends, and became a family over time. She learned how to survive, and took care of her mother as she worked hard to afford living. Life was good, until a sickness came and claimed her mother in the course of weeks. Broken and distraught, Artemis sat alone for days in the shadows of her room at the Women's Shelter at the age of 10. Child services learned of the death, and came to the shelter to take Artemis back to her father.
After returning to her father, Artemis soon learned that he had remarried and had other children with his new wife. She questioned what the new wife saw in her father, because the new wife was kind nature and almost pure of heart. Life became easier with small moments of stress and distraught since Artemis was still mourning the loss of her mother. However, after years, Artemis learned to love her new step mother and aspired to be like her and her own blood mother.
Her father was never around, so she never grew to have a relationship with him. Artemis did, however, learn to use whatever she had to be able to help those who needed it. After living in the shelter for years, Artemis wanted to make sure those she befriended there were able to survive and never be sick. So she donated time and energy to helping them, and even brought along her step-mother during most of those times. Her stepmother grew to love it and began foundations to help those who needed help the most.
After she grew of age (18 ), she decided to go to college and become a doctor. She finished school at the age of 26 and started working for a full year before joining the game of SAO.

Artemis had always played video games as the years went by after she started living with her father and step-mother. After graduating, she learned about the Nerve Gear, and bought it with money from her paycheck. She decided to play SAO in curiosity of the technology involved and wanted to see how playing the game would factor into the mind.
