The forest was quiet. Not the scary kind where you can hear every leaf as it blows in the wind and you feel as if something is watching you quiet. No, it was a peaceful sort of quite. The kind where you walk lightly on your feet because you dont want to break the magic of the moment. Some people might think differently, some people dont like the quiet that comes with the rising sun. Premaz stopped for a moment and took a deep breath. His normal bouncy and energetic soul was currently as still as the forest around him. He had been walking for many days and had been many different places, but had not seen anything like the forest that he was currently passing through. The trees were tall and sturdy. And he just simply loved the way that the morning sun shined through the leaves, leaving a speckled pattern on the ground.
His search for beauty is what had lead him to this forest. There was a rumor that he had heard while passing through the plains of a beautiful forest. When he questioned further on the matter people either gave him weird looks, or simply told him not to go into it. It was almost as if they were afraid, but he could not see why, there was nothing frightening in this magical place. Although that quiet that he had been feeling earlier was starting to turn into the sort of quiet that made him jumpy. Premaz continued to walk. A beautiful forest it was, but in his search for beauty he was seeking something even more. If he was to find the true meaning of beauty then he would have to see all kinds of places and not just settle for one. Even if it was a beautiful forest he could not live here, he was almost positive that someone already owned the forest because the trees were marked. It was not natural for trees to have marks in them, so naturally he figured that someone else put them there. He figured that he had best be moving on.

Risuleri meanwhile lifted an eyebrow as she watched him pass, blinking from where she had been picking some berries, partially hidden in the bushes nearby as he wandered around, looking at the scenery.
She stood up quietly, her tail curling up on herself, feathery crest perking up, tilting her head quizzically as he headed into the territory, lost in the scenery, did he just... Walk in here after looking at the markings? She hadn't wanted to bother with chasing down a male outside of the marked boundary -- he wasn't part of the local herds from what the reports stated, but the mare honestly had just wanted to eat and would have let him pass by for some other mare to capture. She was on guard duty, not patrol.
However, entering the territory was something she had to do SOMETHING about, even if it was interrupting her lunch. "Excuse me. Could you be so kind as to explain why you're heading into our territory?"
Her voice wasn't aggressive -- while she had gotten used to doing guard duty and liked the occasional bit of isolation it gave her and the chance to explore near the border rather than constantly seeing the same things, she was a dancer and held no ill will towards males, even if she did think they were silly things that needed to be watched over.

Premaz almost bolted at the sound of a voice, but it was a kind voice and it would be rude to run. not to mention it was a mares voice, and he loved talking to mares. he turned to look at the mare who had addressed him, but was not expecting the feathered female. his mouth dropped open, but only for a moment. he quickly composed himself. "Territory? as in this land is owned by someone? im sorry if im but im not accustomed to such a term, and its such a lovely place think you not? it would be shaming the land not to share it with all, think you not?" this mare had feathers, and was larger than him, but she seemed nice, maybe they could enjoy a lunch together.
