[biography] Loki was born the fourteenth of a mega litter of sixteen Eevee eggs, all owned by a wealthy elderly couple. The parents of the eggs had been struggling to have babies for years and, with the help of fertility items, finally had their wish answered. Half of the babies born were shiny while the other half were born normal, thus, they were paired in matching "twin sets", and given matching evolution stones for when they chose to evolve. They lived a blissful, uninterrupted life in the forests. The children were happy and raised well, and when the elderly couple passed away, the massive Eevee family did their best to maintain their beloved home.
Though he was one of the smallest of the bunch, Loki was certainly not afraid to express himself. Like his beloved "normal twin" sister, Crystal, he developed an opinionated and regal approach to life, although he would always be the more doting and kind of the "pair." With each passing year he grew more and more in tune with his assigned stone, the never melt ice shard. He longed to travel to the mountains, where he knew he would feel quite comfortable. Thus, the little shiny set out on his own one winter night, and was delighted by the peaceful beauty he found up in his new mountain home. That same night, while settling in and feeling comfortable, he evolved into a shiny Glaceon. His new appearance was welcomed wholeheartedly.
Weeks passed by and Loki was still very much enamored by his new home. He made himself a house out of ice shards and rocks, which reflected brilliantly in the light of the sun or the moon, and life was pretty much beautiful. However, on a particularly clear night, Loki encountered his star. It had fallen close to his home and, curiosity taking over, he went to inspect it. He woke laying sprawled out in the snow, a pale blue yukata folded neatly next to him. Though he was astounded by his transformation, he was far more intrigued by the note he found tucked inside one of the yukata's sleeves. His sister, Crystal, had been watching out for him, and bought him his new clothing. Filled to the brim with gratitude and excitement, Loki descended to the forests to thank his beloved sister.
