_________APPEARANCE ▪▫ Kazuo can be described as an unnaturally lanky fellow on first sight, towering over most people while looking like he could be blown away by a light breeze. He stands with a slight slouch due to his height. Most of his clothes are loose-fitting due to his height. Kazuo has meticulously, almost obsessively, cared for silky smooth jet black hair that reaches the nape of his neck and the first signs of scruff around his chin. His light brown eyes seem a bit droopy and Kazuo has an unconscious habit of leaving his mouth open when not talking or eating.

_________PERSONALITY ▪▫ Kazuo often appears awkward at times, something his unnatural lank does not help. He seems to have an inability to empathize with his peers and often has trouble understanding sarcasm and metaphorical speech. Kazuo has a low tolerance for what he sees as mundane tasks and dreams of becoming something greater. Although he has been working to contain it, he has been prone to throw sudden and severe, sometimes violent, temper tantrums. Kazuo also has a narrow obsession with history, archaeology, and anthropology. He'll often relate things back to the past in a single-mindedness that make people seem to avoid him. Kazuo sometimes has issues of volume control.

_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫
Kazuo was born of an upper-middle class Japanese family with a hard-working father who rarely came home due to business obligations and a stay-at-home mother who took care of him and loved him dearly. Although he rarely saw his dad, he still received gifts during the appropriate times of the year and his mother didn’t seem to mind too much either. She often brought friends over to the fancy apartment they lived in and sometimes they would stay the night and in the morning they would always pet him on the head and give him some money or candy and tell him what a good boy he was taking care of his mother while his father was away. Sometimes it would be someone he would never see again and other times it would be the same person more than once. They never stayed over when Kazuo’s dad came home though.

From a young age, Kazuo always seemed rather odd, especially in comparison to his classmates and peers. He had an easier time with people either much older or younger than him but his classmates never seemed to want to hang out with him. He was quite intelligent in school yet hated doing the same old thing over and over again when he already knew how just because another classmate didn’t understand it or because it would “help him understand a subject” he already grasped. As a result, teachers thought he was arrogant and spiteful. Thus, Kazuo retreated into his personal world of computers and video games and anime. The same elitism that bothered him at school would also bug him here, but then here no one was able to wield any control over him. He soon found an online community of like-minded people to share his experiences with.

With the hype that surrounded Sword Art Online and as a Virtual Reality MMORPG, of course Kazuo was interested in playing said game. It was easy for him to email his father, asking him to buy him the necessary equipment. When Kazuo threw a temper tantrum, at his length, lank, and fragility, they would often be self-damaging and his father certainly did not want to deal with that. Though he has some slight quibbles about his poorly developed social skills, Kazuo realizes that through playing the VRMMORPG he could easily improve his sociality in time for university and add another game to his list of accomplishments. With that in mind, he excitedly prepared for the wonderful world he was going to dive into.

Now a fully muscled and jacked version of his real life self and combined with his choice of heavy armor, Kaaz looks like a fully intimidating juggernaut of dread and terror, at least he would if his posture wasn't still terrible. Due to his muscle-boundedness, most people probably wouldn't be able to identify Kaaz offline without knowing of his posture, his nuanced speech, and his quirks.
