Today was a day like the rest for him. Having just woken up from yet another slumber, Shringesh had made his way across his favorite areas, checking for any signs of change. After all, he was unsure of how long he had slept this time. Perhaps he needed to invest in some sort of 'sleep counting' machine, or at least an automatically adjusting calender. It was now that he found himself on the shore of a stretching ocean, the water a deep blue farther out. He settled himself to sit in the sand, closing his eyes and listening to the waves. Ah yes, now this would be a relaxing place to nap. Just not right now. His ears perked at a different noise. No, that wasn't the waves, was it? He opened a lazy eye, turning towards where it came from. Now what could that possibly be?
