Personality: At first glance, you see a gorgeous woman. At least from the back.
At second glance, you see a gorgeous man. Etzer believes he has flawless qualities, and is perfect in every way. A smooth talker, he knows he's the best and won't hesitate to grace you with his presence. He'll be touchy-feely, arrogant, suave, and attempt to flirt with anything that walks on two legs - or crawls, for that matter. The flirting has no real intention behind it, but for Etzer there is always a motive if there’s something to be gained.
If there is something to be gained and the other is put off completely by Etzer's personality and attitude, he will tone it down if there is something to be gained from it. If not? You'd better hope you can deal with it, because he'll do it just because he can.
If anyone points out an inherent flaw to Etzer, he will first laugh about it, then retreat to sulk about it for DAYS - most likely disappearing into his room to recover himself. He strives for perfection and smoothness, and does not like it at all when others point out a flaw he doesn't think he has (or knows he has and just doesn't want others to think it’s a flaw).
However, if you get in his good graces, he will entertain you with his real personality. He's just a boil who wants to be liked. He may be flashy, arrogant and rude, but someone who gets in his closer circle he will show his doubts to and actually start to trust. If one of his flaws is pointed out by one of his friends, he will try to fix it around whichever friend stated it, just to show that he does really care about others’ friendships, and yes he does really listen (even if he doesn't act like it most of the time).
If one watches him closely who isn't a friend, or a potential friend, they’ll see Etzer in certain “calm moments” or “down time” where he just relaxes and is… himself. No acting is needed when he’s by himself, and in these moments one can find him in the library, searching for a good book to read, or already engrossed in a novel.
His real personality is less suave, still sure of himself but won’t outwardly flaunt it if he considers someone a close friend, or someone who will benefit him in friendship rather than a business standpoint.
Etzer won't really get insulted if his friends point out his flaws, but he’ll shrug and jibe right back in good nature, accepting that that’s just who he is. Think of calling your best friend a name and she calls you one back – if it’s all in fun, there’s no hard feelings, right?
He has three quirks which he thinks are awesome and he doesn't want to change ever, even if other people have a problem with it.
The first? Collecting dumb (but hilarious) books. He loves silly books, and hides them around his dorm room where he can. Adventures of Booty Space Pirates? Got it. Terrible Trio of Tremendous Truffled Twins? Read it twice. Hunt for the Turkey that ate the Moon? Yeah, he has that in first edition. If it’s a silly CYOA adventure book, Etzer loves it, even if it is more than a tad stupid.
His second quirk is that he gets hot. A lot. He’ll start stripping if he gets too warm, and if he doesn’t strip around someone who he respects (aka if they ask him not to), he’ll most likely get a nosebleed. Ice is his element, after all...
Third but not least is that he loves fashion. He believes he looks great in clothes with his fabulous body and can pull off anything, even if the latest style is trashy. He’ll fix a little bit here and there, and bravo! It’s in much better taste than before, even if the designer didn’t know what the Jack they were doing. It doesn’t help that his father supports his habit, but after all, he is the younger brother… AND could most likely get away with murder, but hey! Bygones. ;]
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Like his father before him, and his father before that, Etzer wants to make a name for himself. He's intending to attend the academy to better himself, but mostly to show off.
FEAR Ability: Ice Make: Etzer uses his ice magic to make moving (and inanimate) ice objects to attack his opponent. At first year, he can't make very many, and doesn't make them very well. Think up a hammer? WHOOPS, it's misshapen on one side! A small bird? Wings are too small and feet too big! Tough luck, son.
