Sometimes it was hard to keep up-to-date with everything that happened in the city these days. One day a cat could learn about one thing, and ten more new things would pop up.
The round manx always tried to keep herself alert as she patrolled the city daily. However, there were only so many things she could catch sight of. Many things would go unnoticed, though she liked to think she was still doing a pretty damned good job!
One thing which was particularly difficult to locate were others of her kind. The streets were littered in stray felines, but Earth Felines were not quite the same as the Mauvians. They couldn't even understand each other, and the only physical trait that made them distinctly different required a good view of the other animal's forehead.
Today, she had managed to notice something as she sat at a crosswalk. On the other side of the street was a longer haired cat with an orange bow, and more importantly, an orange star upon her forehead.
Hmmmm... I don't think I've met her before...
Truly intrigued, the manx waited until the light changed before attempting to cross the street to reach the other Mauvian. Unfortunately, due to the presence of normal people, she couldn't exactly speak quite yet.

Sheena sat still thinking of a way to get in and play in the arcade. She couldn't just walk in. She had tried that before and well it hadn't ended well for her and she didn't want to go through that again, for she feared she might laser the owner.
Frowning, she sighed lightly and turn to head off until business picked up at the arcade when it could possibly be easier for her to sneak and try to get in a quick game. She was certain she could get a high score if she could just play.
She headed for the crosswalk and spotted the other cat seemingly looking at her with a star on her forehead. She gave a grin and waited for the other to cross, figuring it would make sense for both of them to cross. She definitely wanted to meet other mauvians and see what they had share in regards to all that was currently going on.

The other cat seemed to remain in place, but had also looked at ********* intently. It was reassuring. After she finished crossing, there were still people looming about the corner. As tempting as it was to simply call out Hi, what's your name, the manx knew better.
Instead, she mimicked what the Earth cats tended to do. She drew close and sniffed towards the other cat. Eventually, she leaned in and nuzzled the other animal, and only once they were so close, the manx dared to whisper a question.
"...nice to meet you... anywhere you want to go?"
A simple relocation would be quite handy at the moment.

Sheena watched the other cat cross the street waiting patiently, trying for once not to be an eager beaver and charge right up to give the other a squeeze. Next thing she knew she was being sniffed and nuzzled odd as it was, she didn't mind at all and smiled lightly.
Hearing the whispered words she grinned and nodded, "follow me." Then she darted off, she was just heading down the street and around the corner there was a shop that had a greenhouse and the owner rarely went into at the current time a day.
She only looked back to make sure the other cat was still following her before darting into the unlocked greenhouse door. It was easily pushed open and closed behind Sheena.

Letting out a small trill of a mewl, the tailless feline of the pair followed her new companion, almost seeming to use the other's tail as a guiding beacon. It was almost like an easy game. The mauvian honestly had to fight off an occasional desire to bat at the swaying tail.
She didn't pay attention to the surroundings until they seemed to have arrived at their destination. Once within the sanctity of the greenhouse, the feline whistled as she looked about.
"Ooooo... this is a nice find..." Her ears stood up tall to take note of if any others were about. Once she felt they were safe, she resumed speaking. "You come here often I take it?"

Sheena turned and grinned at the other cat nodding, “Yes. I like it a lot. There are always flowers in here and even better the owner leaves bananas on the table in the back. Also there is a lizard in her somewhere I think and I want to catch it.”
She turned and headed to the table in the back of the greenhouse that had three chairs at it, a little trash bin sitting beside it, and a bowl on it that held bananas, apples, and oranges. She hopped right up on the closest chair, then onto the table to snitch a banana. Sheena looked down at ********* from the top of the table. “Come up and have a bite. The owner always leaves fruit out, though I really wish he would leave a bowl of nuts.”
She grabbed her banana probably a most ridiculous sight, fore who would even think a cat might carry a banana especially with the full intention of eating it, and settled herself on the table using her claws to open her prize.

Key words caught her attention. Namely "bananas" and "fruit." Never being the sort to turn down food, the followed the other cat's example, hopping up (albeit clumsily) onto a chair, then using the chair as a starting point to bounce up onto the table. The other cat had already claimed her prize and had awkwardly begun her efforts getting to the fruit. Out of the three choices, the apple seemed like the easiest choice to work with.
Meandering up to the bowl, the cat attempt to locate the smallest of the apples. She had to nudge at the fruits to shift them about a bit, and occasionally batted a paw into the mix to help out.
As she searched, she offered "...So... I haven't seen you around before... What's your name? I'm *********>

Sheena was focused on her treat, but she glance at ********* every few seconds as she picked through the fruit bowl. When she spoke offering her name Sheena grinned. ********* was the second cat she had met thus far, and also second to have an adorable name. Sheena thought her own was just pretty, not adorable, but pretty and that was just fine with her.
"I like it," she said after swallowing a piece of banana, "My name is Sheena. It's nice to meet you. Only met one other cat thus far, so it's always nice to meet another."
She took another bite of her banana and grinned looking to *********. "So what were you up to *********, just doing a bit of exploring or were you looking for something.?"

Her attention was briefly stolen from the fruit as she turned to Sheena, tilting her head to the side. "...only one other cat? Might I ask the other cat's name?" The manx was quite familiar with the Mauvians of Destiny City, though she also knew she obviously didn't know them all. Thus her encounter today with Sheena.
Soon enough her attentions were back on the apple. With one quick, clean bat of the paw, she finally managed to get the red object up close and practically ready to topple out of the bowl...
...when it went the other way and went even further out of reach.
With a quick sigh, she easily answered the other cat's question. "Oh, I was patrolling. I tend to do a lot of that across the city, since there are plenty of senshi just waiting to be awakened!"

Sheena grinned, “I met Pippin one day in the park and he helped me sneak into the arcade so that I could play video game.” She gave a huge grin. She liked Pippin, he promised to teach her how to shop, which she thought promised to be insightful or entertaining at the very least.
Sheena was watching ********* trying her best to get the red apple out of the bowl, but not exactly succeeding. It was a bit of a process to get, but she had done it before, so she figured she out to help. “Here,” she said gently putting her front paw on the edge of the bowl to tip it slightly. She wasn't quite heavy enough to tip it completely, but she figured ********* could now fish her apple out easy.
“Quickly, if you would. The bowl is a bit heavy,” she said with a playful grin.

With a squeaked "Oh!" the manx proceeded to fishing out the apple with both of her paws before rolling backwards, apple pressed up against her body. For a human, an apple wouldn't have been an issue to carry. Proportionately to a cat, however, it was a bit on the heavy side.
With a subtle squirm, ********* managed to roll the object off herself and onto the surface she had been standing on before. With a huge breath, the rounder of the pair gratefully added a "Thank you for the help!"
Rising to her paws, the cat meandered to the apple and proceeded to dig her claws into it at first, merely trying to pick a hole in the skin.
"...if you like video games, I think you might be able to play some back at the Headquarters in all honesty... have you ever been?"

She smiled and nodded, "It's not a problem, apple as tricky. I usually go for bananas myself. I really love them.' She took another bite of her banana before it her ears swiveled at the words video game and headquarters.
Her banana was forgot as she hopped up and stood in front of *********, "really I can play video games there!" She was all excitement, so much so she almost forgot she had no idea where the headquarters were as she had never been there before.
She frowned slightly, "no I've never been there before, but I definitely want to go, especially if I can play video game!"
She bet if she could play video games there were other cool things that she could play with maybe even something like that could play with like the tablet she saw Peter play with and carry around.

Where as Sheena had forgotten the banana, ********* most certainly had not forgotten dear sweet apple. She pulled her claws away from it and began to lick at her paws a bit where the apple's juice had oozed out. A subtle purr escaped her, because that was good apple!
"I'm pretty sure... I mean... there are computers for us to use, so I am sure playing some sort of online video game is quite possible!" Having torn out the little hole she needed to truly get started, the tailless animal shoved her face towards her fruit and began to take a bite.
One bite and a bunch of chewing, she pulled her head back and looked to the other cat thoughtfully. "I... could show you..... later..... if you want....."
She proceeded to swallow what was in her mouth before she added a bit of clarification: "It's only for Mauvians.... so no blabbing to senshi or knights or anything that isn't a Mauvian... then again... it's not like they could get in, even if they knew about it!"

Sheena was really excited she could care less about the banana which lay forgotten on the table. The headquarters had computers for them to use. It was quite an interesting find! Though she doubted very highly that playing video games was the most appropriate thing to do at the headquarters when she took a moment to stop and think about it.
She smiled at ********* when the cat agreed to show her. She most certainly was opposed to the idea at all. She found herself nodding and sitting more properly in front of *********. "Of course not, if its for us, than it for us. I'll not tell anyone who isnt a mauvian."
She watched ********* for a moment, "what do you do when you're at the headquarters?"

The manx was not nearly as willing to abandon her apple treasure. However, she was able to eat and chat, even if that meant biting, chewing, swallowing, replying, and repeating that process.
She did give a thoughtful roll of the eyes up to the sky as she pondered the question.
"...I tend to use it for tinkering.... and.... to stretch out my toes... You know... stuff that humans wouldn't really understand..." She took another nibble of her apple.
"When I finish up here, we can get going if you'd like!"
