This thread is for the overall guild rules and for the roleplay Guide Lines.
The Guild Rules:

A few simple rules.
#1 Follow Gaia's TOS (if you haven't read them, do so)

#2 Don't be a d**k, treat others the way you wish to be treated.

#3 Act in character in an in-character thread.

#4 No Canonical characters from anywhere, period. It shows an extreme lack of creativity when all you do is take and existing thing and convert it (or in this case give them pokémon) This guild is for Original Characters ONLY. This is limited to the character themselves and what their powers were. You may still use images of these characters for anything you need.

#5 On the note of images for anything you are using as your character, if you are using a site like Deviantart than please get the original creators permission to use it first and foremost. I know many artists who hate it when people don't ask to use things and just do.

#6 Shiny Rule:
Shiny's are classified as a rare mutation in the breeding chain (certain varieties that don't breed will be explained as they are asked as there are to many to list) however, they are slightly more common within this guilds Canon, as such you may have 1 Shiny per character, so choose wisely.

#7 Legendaries:
Are just that: Legendary. They are NOT catchable by the Members, Crew, Vice Captains or the Captain. They are to be used as Events Only

#8 Rare and Banned Pokémon:
Please see The Rare and Banned Pokémon List for the full list

#9 Read the Beginners Guide first before PMing Any crew about the systems

#10 No Fire-arms at all. You may have things such as tazers, however guns are restricted to Law Enforcement only. This is because Shikoku is trying to maintain a "peaceful" outlook to the other Regions.

When it comes to swearing/cursing:
I honestly don't care, but there are some people who do, so if they ask you to not swear/curse, please don't. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but hey, sometimes it's unavoidable. If somebody asks you to tone it down, please do so though.

Roleplay Rules & Guidelines:

Roleplay Rules:
You will have 3 warnings before you are banned. If you fix the post in question it will NOT take one of those 3 warnings. Arguing something that is clearly breaking the rules however, will result in one of the warnings used.
Breaking the rules will result in a warning.

#1 No god-modding, God Modding is when you say that regardless of situations you guarantee something has happened. This can be anything from saying that you out right killed a character because you hit them, or that you blew up a city with a single spell (Keep in mind that it is likely that the SS Rank Tomes would have this kind of destructive power)

#2 No Power Playing, Power Playing is when you control what your opponent does and does not do. Auto-hitting and Auto-dodging are both a kind of power play. Controlling what the other character is feeling or any of their 5 senses is also a style of Power Playing and will not be tolerated.

#3 Always act in character when you are a Roleplay Thread. This should be self explanatory.

#4 No Meta Gaming, Meta Gaming is a situation where you use something to your characters advantage when the character would not know about it IN Character. It is also called Out of Character Knowledge.

#5 One place at a time, while posting in Roleplay Threads your character may only be in one place at a time. Outside for Roleplay Threads your character may be anywhere you choose them to be. (The Roleplay and the Squads will be a separate section and thus seperate)

#6 Multiple Teams:
Right now, you can only have 1 Team to use, this will change as the guild grows larger

Roleplay Guidelines:
#1 One Attacking Action Per Post, This guideline is in place so as to make sure that people don't spam the big hit attacks all in one post. A Pokémon is able to perform one non-attacking move and one attacking move in one post. While, for example, you can do things like Agility into Wing Attack, you cannot do both a Thunderbolt and a Flamethrower in the same move. However, things such a Mach Punch or Bullet Punch to close the distance while following it up with another close range attack, or another attack at point blank range is allowed.

#2 Always act as your character would act when you are In Character. Regardless of how you would have handled that situation in real life you should always act as your character would have acted. If your character would have reacted differently than you would have under similar conditions please act as the character. However, this is a guideline because if you do something extremely out of character, it could be for an in character reason. So long as you explain it if somebody questions you you'll be fine.

Gym Leader Rules

1) Gym Leaders do not have to accept every trainer who challenges them, they hold the Right to Refuse Trainers under any fair grounds, be it their line of work, the sheer number of trainers they have challenging their gym, or if they feel the challenger is under qualified to meet the requirements of their gym.

2) Any Gym Leader experiencing Real Life Issues, or who is away will have their gym Closed down until they return which means no challengers may challenge the gym. Alternatively another Gym Leader may step in if asked to, or a temporary "Filler" can be found. If this is for a prolonged period of time, the Crew will vote on the new gym leader.

3) Gym Leaders are free to roam the city they are in or the surrounding routes, if a Gym Leader leaves the city for a prolonged period of time, their gym is set to Closed Status, meaning it will not accept challengers until their return

4) With the previous rule being said, Gym Leaders may travel to any city in the region to conduct battles with other Trainers, or Gym Leaders as they like, however they must adhere to that Gyms Rules and the opposing Gym Leader can decline them if they feel it is needed.

Challenger Awareness

1) Gym Leaders can be challenged in any order, you do not have to have defeated the first gym to challenge the second gym. Again, the Gym Leader still holds the right to refuse anybody they feel does not meet the requirements.

2) Gym Leaders teams can change and grow over time and are purely up to the choosing of that Gym Leader. There is no "Monotype" Rule or Theme that each gym must follow, the teams are based on their genre of music that the Gym Leader chooses.

3) Gym Leaders can have up to three teams, so what your buddy told you about one team that the Gym Uses may not be the team they use. This is in effort to prevent gym leaders from being push overs simply by building a team that "hard counters" their own.

4) Gym Rules are solely up to that cities Gym Leader, each Gym will have different challenge rules and requirements, they are not all the same and will very likely change as you change cities to challenge the other Gym Leaders in the region.
