Well...where do I begin? For one if I know a person IRL for a while I accidentally will pick up on their past life-lives at certain points, and well, at first I thought it was not possible, but then whenever I called it these people would be amazed. Anywho, that's not my problem. I'm just explaining a little about myself.
One evening when I was with my fiance for a while we got onto the topic of witchery and he wanted to go on a group mirror discovery, and I flat out said no. You are not experienced enough what if something happens? Mirrors can be a dangerous thing to some. I would know.
Well, he told me he wanted to know more about his past lives and that he wanted to be taught some things. And, so, I told him a bit of my back ground, and got him to not go to the mirror event.
After a while of knowing another I one day told him that one of his past lives was of a knight. He wanted more, but I couldn't tell him that. I only pick up the basics of what a person's past life would possibly be, not the history behind it.
After that, he meditated on the issue and when he came to he was so out of it. He was disgusted with said past life. I asked what he saw...and then I became a little spooked, but not by much.
As a knight he acted under orders strictly. He would kill and burn witches as the stake with no questions. He never hesitated. He explained one scene where many villagers-people in general were hollering and throwing fits that one witch was not set a flame yet.
He killed 2-3 people due to them breaking the barriers of being dumb. As a knight he shown mercy for a few moments saying things would be quick. The witch was set on fire, then he ended her torment by stabbing her making the crowds pissy, but he continued things knocking people out of the way to secure the area they were in.
We back track...this is where I was spooked. I was a witch in one of my past lives and that's how my death was prescribed. And, I believe ppl in their past lives meet in their "new" lives even if its for a second to many more moments.
The problem is since this happened my fiance has night mares about this. He has had problems sleeping and what not. So...I would like to know if there is a way to calm his dreams and meditations down to make things less stressful?

Okay, but that does not exactly help the situation. My question was how do you ease dreams from lashing out. rolleyes
And, I did know that.

Considering his/your past life is based on a generalized concept of what happened to witches in the past...what do you think would help ease the dreams from lashing out?

I let things take their course. When I am in control in my dreams I am a fighter.
As for him, I told him to do something that would ease his stress right before bed.
Either then that I do not know what to do. I have always been the one to let things take its course.

For me the important thing would be for him to remember that he is not the same person that did those horrific acts. It's a different ego and a different body and thus a different person. The soul has many lives it lives and many lessons that it learns in each life. Each life we are unique individual beings and really our past lives are our past lives. They have no real influence on how we act and what we do in this life.

I'm pretty sure that's a regional thing. Like I believe contenential Europe had more actual burnings (We know France did that and I believe Germany did as well). Now in England and in the US it's established they were hung or pressed to death (one in Salem..Giles i think-exact name escapes me)

Loona Wynd For me the important thing would be for him to remember that he is not the same person that did those horrific acts. It's a different ego and a different body and thus a different person. The soul has many lives it lives and many lessons that it learns in each life. Each life we are unique individual beings and really our past lives are our past lives. They have no real influence on how we act and what we do in this life. In my opinion it is both a different person, and the same person. It may share the same core of spirit but each lifetime is filled with different experiences that shape us, and some of those things do follow us from life to life. Past lives do influence us whether we realize it or not, and frankly most of of don't- or at least don't realize how they are influencing us. Sometimes problems in this life can be traced back to previous lives, because well those circumstances have something to teach us, something we didn't learn the last time, or something those circumstances need to remind us of. Dealing with past lives is tricky business since the stuff that is most easily remember is the stuff with the most emotional impact, which typically means the things that were not so good, and downright traumatic particularly by today's standards. Most people just aren't prepared for that and in can be very difficult to work through the emotions it brings up. Hell, some of mine give me nightmares too. I ground, center, meditate, remind myself that I am here, now and that I am no longer that person, that is no longer my life, that I am strong, loving, and a good person. The past can only hurt me if I let it.

Mostly they were, hung...At least for the official executions. A lot died from drowning and similar, trial by ordeal and all that.

While I have already discussed this matter with Fatelin, I'd like to reinforce the belief stated previously that what transpired in a past life needs to be accepted, learned from, and then let go of. Its a matter of self exploration - what lesson did you learn in committing that atrocious act? Holding onto it as a matter of guilt is counterproductive towards the evolution of one's divine spark and spirit. I also have tread down the thorny path of a guilt ridden past life for failing to protect those I cared most about in my life. I literally saw them cut down before my eyes just before I myself was killed. In every lifetime since I carried a weight of guilt until this one in which I was exposed to the proper elements and circumstances to explore that past, understand what happened, learned from what mistakes I made that led to that situation and after a lengthy personal struggle - let it go.
