It was...kind of awkward to say the least. Being all kinds of dressed up and all that junk. But it was a special night Axel supposed. So he really wanted to look his best. Plus ya know it was a fancy restaurant after all. Hair slicked back just nice and a white suit. Oh yea, he was totally bitchin in this outfit.
He didn't have family to spend the holidays with so why not spend it with someone you cared about? Or at least take her out and spend some time with her at least. It had been a while since the last time he'd hooked up with Quinn so a holiday date didn't seem that cheesy. At least he hoped.
Sitting at the table, he fiddled with the box in his coat pocket. Nervous but he still gave off an aura of confidence. Hopefully she would like what he'd gotten her for Christmas. It wasn't often that he needed to go out shopping for the ladies. And in all honesty he wasn't entirely sure if it would be something that she liked.
But it was the thought that counted. Right? Right.

Christmas was a weird time of year for Quinn. This time last year, she was deciding what to buy Veer, Josh and Lydia as gifts. The year before, she was still Kathryn and celebrating the holiday season with her parents in England. It seemed that every year the holidays throw her a curve-ball.... And this year was no different.
This year, she was apparently expected to spend time with Axel. In a fancy restaurant. Wearing fancy clothes. Was she supposed to get him a gift? What do you get a guy who punches people in the face and rides motorcycles in his spare time? It had never occurred to Quinn until that moment just how bad at this she really was.
With a long breath, Quinn smoothed the bottom of her pea coat and stepped into the restaurant of Axel's choosing, her eyes immediately darting around the room to take in her surroundings. This was overwhelming. While a smile plastered on her face, she murmured to the door lady who she was here to see and she was immediately ushered to Axel's table.
"Hey you," she said as she slipped her coat off and slid into the chair opposite of him.

When Quinn finally arrived and appeared at his table Axel couldn't help but crack a wide, charming smile. At least she hadn't stood him up. Not that he was expecting her to. Even so it would have been a serious blow to his ego.
Even now she was still gorgeous. Taking a minute to enjoy her lovely curves as she slipped into the chair opposite of him.
"Hey there sexy lady. I'm glad you could come." A waiter came by with a bottle of wine. Pouring the dark red liquid into two of the glasses on their table. While Axel wasn't old enough to exactly order alcohol knowing some of the guys who worked here in the back and paying off a matron gave you some perks.
Pulling his hand out of his pocket, he placed a long white box on the table. Sliding it across to her with a single finger. "Merry Christmas." Upon opening the box Quinn would find a necklace made of white gold. The chain held together in the front by a pair of black jewel covered wings with a white gold heart in the center.

"Nice suit," Quinn said with a giggle as she took a look at him from across the table. She blushed at his compliment and his very obvious checking her out. Okay, so maybe she was asking for it wearing a dress that hit just below mid-thigh and an impressive pair of pumps that made her legs look a mile long.
"It's good to see you, darlin," she grinned at him as the waiter poured their wine. She may have been underage here, but in England? She was totally legal and that made it a-okay in her books for her to be drinking. She quickly scooped up her wine glass and took a long drink as she watched him slide a long white box across the table at her.
The glass slowly moved away from her lips as she swallowed and stared at the box for a few seconds in silence. Only one thing could be in a box of that shape and size: jewelry. Her wine glass eventually lowered to the table, Quinn's deep red eyes moving from the box to Axel. "You... You didn't have to get me anything, Axel. Really. Dinner, this place... This is all more than enough."
Her fingers twisted in the ends of her long wavy hair as she stared at the box before curiosity finally got the best of her and she picked it up. She popped it open and sucked in a breath, her eyes widening as she admired the winged necklace. Black wings, how fitting. Quinn smiled to herself at her own private joke and looked up at him. "It's beautiful."

Axel instinctively ran a hand over his slicked back hair then straightened out the sleeves of his shirt. Tugging at the bottom of his vest lightly to smooth out the lapels. "What this old thing?"
He didn't touch his own wine glass until she'd opened her box. The fruity taste lingered in his nose as he sipped lightly at it. In all truth he preferred the harder stuff when he drank but this was a fancy restaurant.
Oh right, pinkie up. That makes it fancy.
Waving a dismissive hand, he placed his glass back down. "Yea, but you can't exactly take the restaurant around with you to remind yourself of me. It might weigh you down a bit hanging from a chain around your neck. So I think that would do better." He laughed.
"I'm glad you like it."
