Deciding to get away from others for a while, the faerie sat outside, staring up at the stars. He was still getting used to things in his first month at the school, and was rather happy he at least got to make a few friends.
Leaning back and stretching against the wall, he let out a stress-relieving yawn, not really tired but yawning just for the sake of yawning. His wings stretched to their extent, flapping a few times before folding onto his back neatly to avoid any collision with any foreign objects. They may have been deteriorating, but he was going to take damn good care of them while he still had them.
Thinking it was high time to go back inside, Marosa stood up and patted himself off, taking one last glance at the night sky before heading inside the lighted school. He wasn't going to head to his room just yet, but decided to browse around to see if he could figure out where the rest of the classes were, as well as getting a better feel of how to navigate around the school.

Out of all the places West might have been that evening, the library seemed the least likely. He wasn't there anymore, thank Jack, but he had been for a large portion of the afternoon, getting lost in the stacks and grumbling whenever anyone tried to assist him. The snow was melting, and it was taking its JOY with it, leaving nothing behind but the influence of the strange black shards embedded in his skin and his natural rage.
The wrath demon was not a thinker or philosopher or strategist. He was curious, however, curious and confused. The hunters had made their presence known more than a year ago, and Amity students were still falling prey to them. If what he had heard was true, some were even going willingly. It had to stop. He didn't know how, it just did. Sadly, after today's thoroughly boring search, he was beginning to come to the conclusion that no one had any answers; not teachers, not students, not books. Everyone needed to wise up. They needed to be on their guard until all those who didn't belong had been eliminated. Until things were back to the way they were supposed to be. There were new faces around this joint every day, and barely anyone seemed to care.
Like that kid. Who was he?
West didn't exactly stomp over to the gancanagh, but his sudden rush to cut the boil off was hardly welcoming. He had no real reason to believe this kid was anything other than a new classmate, but that was the problem. He could just as easily be a hunter in one of those Halloween suits, or even a youngish horseman dressed up like a student with the intent of spying from the inside out. Wings like that had never been a feature of any of the clans he had seen, but he couldn't in good conscience rule them out either.
"Who're you?" asked West, coming to a stop slightly to the left of the other boil. He forced his hands back to his sides as they threatened to rise in accusatory fists, and he tried to force his expression closer to neutrality.

Stopping in his tracks, the fey gave a once-over to the other, blinking curiously. "Oi'm Marosa. I jes' attended two weeks ago." Had it been nearly that long? Jack, it felt shorter. His eyes flicked to the others' hands, and Marosa pursed his lips as he thought.
"Do ye dislike fey, or summat?" His golden eyes darkened, though a sad look was on his face. He hadn't received a 'welcoming' quite like this, though he was slightly intrigued as to where this situation would go. He was much calmer than he'd normally been, due to the fact that he got to watch the stars - they seemed a little different here than at his home, but still relaxing nonetheless.
Marosa let out a resigned sigh.
"I dinnae blame ye. Most fey are naut verrah nice."

Two weeks ago. Right. West inhaled then exhaled a lengthy breath through his nose as he vaguely thought about dissipating this... Marosa... and waiting for him to reappear back at Nurse Cricket's. As far as he knew, the hunters hadn't gotten around to faking that. He made a soft clicking sound with his tongue. No. He didn't want to attract the sort of attention attacking students would stir up when he was so close to getting out of this place. It was to be questioning then. Conversation. He hadn't talked to a new kid in a long time.
"Fey? No, I don't really have a problem wit' fey, no more than I have a problem wit' anyone." He relaxed slightly, but his frown and furrowed brows remained. "Jus' tryin' t'see the other things ya are. Inside." Cryptic? Vague? Unnecessary? Yes.
West shook his head and waved his hand slightly as if brushing aside his near-attack. "What d'they do? Hide socks? Make humans fall in love wit' their scareons?"

Marosa couldn't help but grin at that, shaking his head. "Ne, ye dinnae know fey at'all if ye dinnae know what dey do." The fey had a feeling to keep his guard up, so keep his guard up he did. He really didn't feel like explaining what fey did; after all, that was part of the surprise - fey were mysterious creatures, and even he was hard-pressed to go against his very nature, despite certain misgivings about himself.
Reaching up to wind his curly hair around a finger, Marosa tilted his head curiously at West. "Other tings oi am? Inside?" His nose twitched as his eyes narrowed. "I dinnae understand. What d'ye mean, inside? If yer meanin' oi have a soul, dat's debatable."

"Y'haven't heard?" he said. West crossed his arms and stood up straighter, his lips twisting in a sarcastic smirk. If this kid really was new, he'd be doing him a favor by telling him all about their human troubles; if he was one of them, well, West often wondered what a hunter would say when confronted with his crimes without that flashy glowing a*****e to hide behind.
"It's not a soul I'm lookin' for. I wanna know if you've got a human in there." He managed to stop his grin from growing wider, realizing that continuing along this path might make the kid think he was crazy enough already. People didn't listen when they thought you were crazy. Maybe he could start small. "Y'ever hear of a Hunter?"
"Ah human?" Marosa couldn't help but wrinkle his nose up at that.
"Aye, oi've 'eard o' 'em. Un o' th' professors got a mite angry when anotha student brought th' subject up. Refused to elaborate onnit." Shrugging his shoulders back, Marosa's wings fluttered behind him as his eyes narrowed. "Oi kin tell ye fer a certain tha' moi race feeds off 'em." The fey wasn't sure what he thought of this guy, including being thought of as a human, but he tilted his head nonetheless at West.
Perhaps there was a way he could actually prove himself.
"If ye'd like, I kin demonstrate." He wiggled his fingers at the other. "Five minutes at a brief touch."

West didn't move away from the boil's wiggly fingers. At least that was something. He did frown. He might have even winced, but only a little bit.
"No, I'll... um... believe ya." He had no idea what such an ability would do to him, but he didn't much like the idea of finding out. For now, he supposed he would make nice with this... Marosa. It really irked him that he had no way of telling if the boil was a danger on sight. How much did the hunters know about the classes here? Did they all share information like some demented little death hive? West supposed he would just have to knock this guy out it he looked like he was pulling a trap gun out of his skirt. He seemed to recall they went down fairly easily when they were all dressed up in their Halloween suits.
"I'm West," the demon finally conceded. "Welcome t'Amityville, I s'ppose."

i think i'm super slow and marosa bb is already year 2, so i can wrap this up if you'd like? west will be more civil when marosa shows up in the same body in the future anyway XD
Marosa smiled sadly, withdrawing his touch. "Marosa," He intoned, even though he knew that he had already said his name. He felt like a broken record.
"Thank ye." The faerie felt a little nervous still, but at least the other seemed to be calming down. He didn't know what he did, but he was sure that he intended to watch his step. "Oi'd better be attendin' tae me dorm now, perhaps oi'll see ye later?" Marosa wanted to keep civil, just in case. The other boil looked like he was about to jump him.

"Yeah... do that." West huffed out a short sigh and crossed his arms. "If I ever see ya again in the same body, maybe I'll 'pologize," he muttered. The boil hesitated then, his current frown less a result of anger and more due to his embarrassing inability to figure out what to do next. Hm.
"You a demon?" West thought so with the whole magic and wings thing, but he'd seen stranger reapers in his day. He narrowed his eyes. "We can go t'the dorms t'gether." Wait. "Not like that. I'll jus' make sure there's a room there wit' yer stuff in it." He poked his finger in the direction of the dorms. "Go on."
