It seemed like an eternity that Stela had waited for the day she would go on her naming quest. The home she had always known - the swamps - had burned up and her whole pride was now migrating to a new homeland. Perhaps now that it was her time, it wasn't the best time. She didn't know where the Swampies were planning to settle. She'd likely never find their new home. But she had decided to leave anyway. She had wanted this for so long... Surely her father would welcome her with open arms and she'd be welcome to the pride which he called home?
She had been greeted at first on the borders by a white lion with wing markings - a very reserved fellow with an ego. He had permitted her entrance in to the lands and now she was asking around to anyone who might know - 'where can I find Mvushi?'
Some had been more helpful than others. She was growing a bit agitated, standing now with a small pout on her face, tail swishing from one side to the other. She had thought it would be so easy.... Siiiiigh~

Thoug Mvushi often wasn't the nicest or most social of lions, he'd done a lot better for himself lately. It wasn't that he was trying exactly, but playing the part of a sorry lion often got tiring. He still didn't have to like his lot in life, he just seemed to complain about it less. He thought that maybe he'd held onto the past for too long, that he should finally move on.
He still had a few things to do but he was headed to find a shady spot in the pridelands. A small break wouldn't matter, would it? Well, as long as no one came upon him and asked him for another 'favor'. He came to a full stop though as he spotted something very weird just ahead of him. A little lioness, not quite an adult, who looked spookily like him. Like... way too much like him.
Another image was trying to push it's way to the front of his mind, but it was flickering in and out. Who else she reminded him of would be a mystery, for now. It wasn't like he spent a lot of time with females though... but seriously... why this lioness looked like him... he didn't want to answer himself!
He turned right on his heel, but he was sure as he was turning he'd spotted her turning her gaze in his direction.
