Jamaa, a brown wild dog with many random darker spots on his body, has been deep in thought in the last few days. Not too long ago he met another wild dog, a female at that. She came on strong and somewhat flirtatious through the canine's eyes. However, something inside of him yearned for her, why? Don't know.
The dog emerged from his underground den into the twilight. The sun was sinking and most of the animals have returned to their dens and families. He however was more active at night. This time, he wasn't going to protrol the Elephant Graveyard like he normally did, he was looking for her.
He took a few mouthfuls of water at the watering hole where they first met. She wasn't there.
After wandering for sometime, he picked a very faint scent mixed with many others from the day. But this one is the one he's been seeking.
She was at the Elephant Graveyard.

Pieces of rock fell all around her as Temari sniffed the air. She had come here in the hopes of being by herself to get her thoughts together. There were so many things wrong. She couldn't remember anything at all, she had come to terms with that a month or so ago. But now her stomach was bulging and she could feel the soft kicks of living things within her belly. She was depressed. That was blunt right? Well, that was how she felt. She was pregnant, and she didn't know from who. She didn't even know if she loved the dog she was pregnant from, she liked someone else after all. But would she like that person? Would he like her if he found out that she was pregnant? Especially if they weren't his?

her. The dog's tongue lolled out of his mouth as he ran down into the graveyard of the dead. He stopped, still panting. He looked about for her, but nothing but bones.
The graveyard was a big place and she was only one female in a territory infested by Hyenas. But that didn't stop the dutiful dog. He dipped his head as he tried the best to follow her scent.
After a moment of sniffing around he stood utop of an old elephant skull, to get a good view. Nothing to left....nothing to right....where is she? suddenly a small crack noise sounded. Curious, he looked about. He cocked his brow, nothing visible. The sound sounded again and he gave the same response. Finally, the skull gave way as he fell down. Jamaa landed with a thud and no way out. Relizing this, he let out a moanful howl.

A crash sounded above her and Temari crushed her goldenbrown/tanish body against the side of the old rotting skull. A howl met her large ears and she flicked them forward in curiosity. She knew that voice. Was that Jaama? Standing uncomfortably, the female walked over towards the larger dog and let out a yip. If it was him she was more than happy, but he sounded like he was hurt. Jaama's smell overwhelmed her and she walked slowly towards him again. Was he okay? If he moved she would be so happy she would probably lick him.

The howl was more of a surprised reaction from the fall. A little disgruntled, he got up and shook the dust from his fur. Not very smart idea. The dust came up and came back around him.
Ah.....Ahh....Ahhhhhh....CHO!
he sneezed. The canine's ears jerked to the right, someone was coming to him, but who?

He was moving! Sighing happily the female walked the rest of the way up to him and licked the dust off of his ears and head. He had taken quite the fall, she was worried. "Are you okay? That was a heavy fall from a high place." Her tail wagged brightly and yipped again.

"Jamaa fine." he replied not exactly looking at her. He turned to her, "Temari?" he asked. He found the one he's been looking for, the other female that he met that day at the watering hole. "Why Temari here in graveyard?" he cocked a brow.

With a happy sigh and a low grunt, the female wild dog lowered her bulging body to the ground. Good, then he was fine. "I came here to think, mostly to be alone. But I'm glad that you're here." A smile lit her muzzle for a moment. "I needed time to think about the babies. I don't know what I'm going to do." the swell in her belly had to be obvious to him, so she didn't even bother pointing it out. Her tail wagged happily. She had missed Jaama, had been afraid that she had lost him when she had come on to strong.

"Babies?" he asked. This was probably the first time he ever heard of that word. When he was young, his mother could not care for them all so she sent them off to other Wild Dogs. And when the time came, the pups left them too to live their own life.
Jamaa trotted to her, "Temari have babies? How long?" he's full of questions today.

"Yes, babies. See my stomach? That's them. And I don't know how long." She sniffed him lightly and wagged her tail brightly. It was Jamaa, that was nice. He seemed so warm compared to what she was going through. How was that? A kick from one of the puppies made her yelp.

"What wrong?" he asked. "Temari hurt?" but her head shook -sorry >.<- it eased somewhat. "Temari know how many?" he turned his attention to the bulging organ, she was defiantly pregnant with who knows how many pups.
For some reason, he yearned for his own as well, why? Insincts? Experience? Only he knows for sure. "Temari okay, right?"

"I think three. That's all that I can feel kicking me. I'm fine though, just scared and worried." She watched his expression closely just in case he didn't like the idea. She didn't know how he would take it. She wasn't sure how males acted anymore.

He cocked a brow. Three? he thought. He didn't know much about labor or much of anything but his protrols and the geographics of the Elephant Graveyard/Prideland Boarder.
"Does it hurt?" he asked, tapping her shoulder with a paw. "The babies are big." he said, looking at the bulge.

Temari smiled weakly. "It does hurt a little, but for the most part it's just uncomfortable." She licked his paw gently when it touched her. "Yes, they are. You can see how big they are if you touch my belly." She laughed. That was really the only way.

"No, Jamaa good." well he thought about doing it, but on second thought, it would ruin teh "surprise". He nuzzled her a little, not for affection, but for comfort and company.
((If we RP enough noise in there, we might get a surprise ^^))
