 Oh joy. Kouki was, again, out of bamboo. One would think she'd blame herself, having left her bamboo forest a month or so ago. Nope. She blamed the forest. It was boring, why would she stay? It could have tried harder to be entertaining, and now the panda fox was suffering because of it. Hmpf. All she had to eat was leaves and such. The vegetarian hadn't seen bamboo in weeks, having only had the small amount she carried with her when she left her room and now just ran out of stock. Now what was she supposed to do? Hunt? Ew. No meat. She didn't like meat. Return home?
"Guess that's the best idea I got." Kouki muttered under her breath. Why not return home? Nothing interesting had happened recently. She had nothing to do. She had left her home for an adventure. The adventure was boring and useless. She was still very much alone and bored, and she had nothing to do. Why not return home?
Yet, it also defeated the purpose of an adventure to give up. Maybe something interesting would happen tomorrow. Or in an hour. Or a month from now. Maybe she shouldn't give up? But.... there wasn't much keeping her still! This new forest had no bamboo! No foxes to meet. No friends. She might as well go home.

 Aika wondered around aimlessly. Feeling a bit lost, too. Not that she was new or anything around here. Life itself had been uneventful. She barely got out, she had no house mates. That and she's only ever met two others. Did they even remember her, though? Surely they had an important and eventful life. Who would remember the simple little Aika? She sighed and stopped in her tracks, sitting down for a moment to think.
She loved making others happy, and was generally a happy Modi herself. But lately, she's been depressed. Upon noticing this, she let out a heavier sigh than before. Where was HER happiness? Why did she even feel this way? Worthless, sad and lonely. More friends would surely cure this small ailment of hers. Aika lifted her head and changed her sad expression to a determined one.
"I just gotta go find friends, is all... That's all I need... Right?"

(( OCC:// Oh! Also! Unlike TLN, foxes here live outside. I mean, they can live in abandoned houses and such, but they're foxes all in all. Can't cook or write or read and such. Just foxes. :3 ))
A voice? Kouki nearly perked, startled. Finally, a voice! Her little fluff of a tail nearly fell off as she wagged it, grinning wide. It sounded like a girl, too! Was she about to make a friend?
The panda fox padded ahead, seeking the voice and its bearer. She hoped she wasn't intruding, or seen as creepy. She honestly wanted to meet someone and finally have company. She caught the flash of pink, suddenly freezing. What if she scared the other? Or they thought she was stalking them? She wasn't.... Yet Kouki did not have many chances to meet other foxes and therefor didn't know what to expect them to think. Well, she might as well try.
"Good mornin', sugar." Her accent slipped as the panda padded up to the pink fox, little tail wiggling, giving away her playful nature. Oh! She was awfully pretty, the pink fox was. "Oh my. Such a nice pink, my eyes have never seen such a shade of pink! It's awfully pretty."

Faint footsteps rustling through the grass could be heard. Sighing, Akia shook her head as to not get her hopes up. It could be a bird, rabbit or some other animal. Though deep down, she had hoped it would be another Modi. Right as she was about to pad along her own business, a voice spoke. Not only did it speak, but it was directed at her. With her head quickly snapping in the direction of the other, she smiled a bright smile. It WAS another Modi, thank goodness!
Her face felt a bit warm after receiving the compliments. "Oh, you really think so?" Aika said as her tail swished lightly as a great joy washed over her. Another friend was about to be made, she could just feel it! "Your tail looks so small and fluffy!" She said with excitement, finding the tail quite cute. A temptation to touch it crossed her, but she knew better than to do something like that. After all ,they had just met. Wait... She hadn't introduced herself yet, how could this be considered 'meeting' when they don't even know each others names?
"I'm Aika, by the way~ What's your name, miss?" Her tail began to wag a bit faster, showing more excitement.

Oh, wasn't the girl just a cutie? She had been received with excitement, which only caused Kouki to wiggle her tail faster, and even admired the panda's tail. A grin played across the woman's face as she heard the others name. "No miss~" She mewed back, settling onto her haunches and folding her front paws infront of one another.
"I'm Kouki." She chirped back, pretty pleased by how the interaction was going. Her first meeting in forever, and it was with a nice soul such as Aika. The girl's tail was wagging, just like Kouki's, and the two were holding a conversation. Most would see this as any other meeting, but the lonely panda fox was just delighted.
"Are you lost, hun? Not many foxes visit these woods unless they're goin' somewhere or lost."

She giggled lightly, tail swaying with happy. "Kouki~ What an adorable name, if i may say so~" Was it right to compliment the other so much? Was she overly happy and joyed or... What? Either way, this was a new friend for her. A polite one, too!
"I'm not really lost, just wondering around aimlessly." She gave a light shrug as she took a moment to think. Aika really has nothing better to do in all honesty. With having only a few friends around here, what else could she do other than wonder around aimlessly, hoping to meet new Modis?
"I didn't invade your territory at all, did i?!" that thought randomly crossed her mind, for some reason.

Her little tail wagged, pleased, and the woman viewed Aika with a smile. This was going well! "Thank you~" The panda-fox chirped back, genuinely flattered by the compliments and turning a sweet pink in response.
"Invade? No no, you silly duck! First, it isn't mine, and second, I was hopin' to meet someone! So you're welcomed!" The fact that not only did she finally have company but it was cute company was the best~ What more could she even ask for? The girl was a sweetie pie, not hostile as the panda-fox feared someone would be upon their first meeting.
"Aimlessly? Where else have you visited?"
