Hey guys im not sure if any one is even active in this but here goes. As the title implies, im looking for a graffiti tutor/ mentor. Ive been off and on graffiti for a few years, maybe a year and a half of full experience. Ive done my home work so i have a decent amount of knowledge but i feel that in order for me to advance even further, I am gonna need some help. If there is anyone interested in improving my graffiti skill, hit me up, ohh and show some samples so i can get a feel for your skill.

I'd hit him up, he's got plenty of stuff in our gallery section of the Guild. I dunno if he's up for "apprenticeships" lol but he's a good dude to go to.

o0Blind0o true, well ill wait and see if this topic attracts their attention lol, sorry man. Haven't been active in a long while. Got busy with the life thing. As far as teaching goes, I don't really have the time. In my opinion, practice, practice, and more practice will get you where you want. It all depends on you and your dedication to the art. But you can't get from zero to ten without going through the other numbers, ya dig? Start basic and work your way up. Basics would be the core of graffiti, which is basic handstyles (tags). Once you understand the concept of fluid lines (the flow) and style, you can move up to block letters, bubble letters, and start morphing them around. Work on those and keep improving. Do it everyday and you'll see improvements from where you started. That's all I got to offer you man, the rest is up to you.

I would say that ive almost perfected my throwie/ bubble tag. Of course it was through repetition that it has evolved. Maybe im trying to take shortcuts by rushing myself. Im satisfied with my throwie but i cant just do throwies. i need some more styles than that. But your right its the flow of most letters that i need the help with. Like a proper way to add arrows and what not. An any case thx for letting me know. ill keep up researching and practicing. sweatdrop

It's pretty basic, just give it a go. It's all about trial and error. lol i figured as much, i have been practicing but when it comes to blocks im blocked, lol. its seems to me that curvy letters are my strong suit.
