Rock field:Tremors ripple forth from center-field as the basic floor shifts to a rock and dirt field. Rock towers emerge forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an advantageous attack position. Gepardo stepped into the trainer's box, playing with a pencil as he watched his pokemon trying to get at the shiny metal band that held the rubber in place. Velasco growled, hopping from side to side on the railing, trying to snap his beak close on the drawing tool.

Genesis entered the field soon after. Offering the trainer a brief wave, she considered the field for a moment before sending out her Lucario.
Erebos edged closer to the field, his steps wary. He squinted hard, but was unable to see his opponent through the sand.

Erebos gave up the search before long, choosing instead to take this time to prepare. Closing his eyes against the swirling sand, he used Calm Mind.

Velasco made a noise as his trainer shoo him off the railing and into the field. Perching on a stone, he cawed softly as he spotted a faint glow across the field, taking precaution, he closed his eyes and used Calm Mind. Erebos' eyes snapped open at the Murkrow's caw. Focusing, he sent a barrage of stone towards the sound.

Velasco open his eyes in time to see the stone that would hit him square in the face. Crying out, he managed to fly out of the way of most of the rest and find a new perch, giving a contempt look at the lucario before closing his eyes again.

Although Erebos was no longer able to hear with Murkrow's wings among the turmoil of sand, it rose high enough for him to spot it for just a moment. Acting quickly, he attempted another Stone Edge.

The stones hit him before he was alert once again. Imitating a growling houndour, he flew out of the way of the other stones and swoop down onto the field as best as he could, using the attack Heat Wave, sending pulses of heat in all directions. Erebos' fur bristled at the growing heat, and he didn't need to guess hard to know what the Murkrow was up to. Spinning round, he darted behind a pillar of rock just in time, and retaliated with another Stone Edge.

[I swear, Velasco is just cursed] Velas cried out as stones rain down on him. Flying around, he tried to dodge them all, but fell short many a time. Bristling his feathers, he dove down where the stones were coming from and let out another wave of heat. Erebos was unable to dodge this time, and the pillar that was his savior before served as his enemy now. The force of the blast pressed him against the rock, and he was able to escape only after a sufficient amount of his side had been burnt. Limping with pain, he aimed another burst of sharpened stones towards the Murkrow.

Velasco cawed triumphantly at getting the other pokemon until he found himself buried under the falling stones once again. He tried to flied away from them, but his energy was draining quickly until he just fell from the sky, collapsing onto the ground with a grunt before falling unconscious. Gepardo winced himself and recalled the pokemon, giving the trainer across the box a light nod once the sandstorms collapsed. Genesis returned the gesture before summoning Erebos to her side. Promising the Lucario some help for his burns, she, too, left.
