Kadryn was not happy. It sucked having her hands burned. They hurt too much to wield her mace, so she had to restrict herself to Ysali and Ayrala dragon hunting. And she couldn't even cook food cause of her mood! Food made by an unhappy chef would not taste good, or at least that's what Kadryn thought. You put your heart into what you cooked, and if you put angry and unhappy thoughts into food, you'd feed bad food to your family. So now she couldn't cook to make herself happy, she couldn't go after that freaking Kiandri, and she couldn't play with Fallon cause she wouldn't have fun and that'd make her baby brother cry!
So no, Kadryn was not happy in the least. The burning embers of her anger were fast approaching a flare up; she could feel the berserk blood lust ready to pounce. So to make sure she didn't hurt her family, Kadryn slunk off to Ayr. She didn't take a ferry this time, she flew. Kadryn was not a people person right now, sand she didn't want to force a smile, so she avoided people and the ferry.
Once at Ayr, it was easy work finding an Ayrala dragon. Kadryn didn't feel like stalking and quietly approaching the dragon for a sneak attack,; no, she wanted to charge and scream and beat the dragon bloody. Which is what she did, it was rather soothing to return to how she used to fight, with her fists and teeth. There was something satisfying in ripping into a Dragon with your bare hands. White it was more dangerous and it took linger to kill it, Kadryn didn't want this fight to end quickly and painlessly. She wanted the fight to last as long as possible, let her vent her rage upon the dragon, to wear out her blood thirst and maybe let her heal a bit and get rid of some of her rage. Perhaps she would feel better afterwards and be able to play properly with her baby brother this evening.
