The strange mannered stallion had grown up in a very tight knit of his closest family and any extra's that happened to be around his mother. As he'd filled in his hooves he's spent more of his time away doing his own thing, giving his older niece, Peren, a run for her herbs. Recently things where getting... dull. His sister was grown up and had done that boring maturing thing, his mother and father where busy. Even his mothers "special" friends seem to be finding mates or starting herd, meaning he was left terribly fidgety.
As it was on this afternoon he found himself wandering around outside the herd, just plain looking for something to do or someone to amuse him. His usual habit of spending time in his odd alcor form not even tempting with no one to investigate.

Tattianna was in the mood for wandering. Her life had been exceptionally boring as of late. No friends, she didn't know where her family was at the moment and unlike her dancer mother, she didn't have an occupation to amuse her. So she wandered and explored. Maybe you could call her an explorer but she didn't think of herself as one just bored. Especially since the scenery didn't usually amuse her, it took a lot to do that.

He'd been wandering for most of the day, not really looking, not really thinking just existing and being in the world. It wasn't till the stallion came across a large bed of water that he snapped out of it. Placing a hoove in the chilled winter water, ice would set soon at this temperature and probably tonight he wasn't fond of water at the best of times. So without giving it a second thought he shifted into a white hazed shadow that was his alcor form and casually floated up above the water.
Once he'd reached the other side he stayed still long enough for his haze to form into that of a eastern dragon, whisping in the breeze to anyone looking it would be a sight. Well to anyone outside the Moonlight herd folks of his herd had grown quite used to the unusual and strange. He seemed to be assessing what to do next or where to go.

She'd just been standing there on the bluff. She supposed the scenery was beautiful but she wasn't really looking at it. Or at least she thought she wasn't until she caught a glint of something out of the corner of her eye. Her mouth dropped, she wasn't sure how she hadn't noticed the dragon but there it was. Gorgeous and bright white and far more interesting than the rest of the night around her. Unbidden she felt her hooves pick up towards it. She wasn't even afraid of it hurting her.

Staying there for a moment it didn't take him long to catch the scent of another on the breeze, then once picking out the purple figure in the distance he zoomed towards her. Full on hazed out he reached her quick enough and as he does so he starts going here and there all around her as if figured out what she is and if there is anything interesting about her. The strange wispy formed creature was going at such a pace that he created his own breeze, but within a minute he stopped and just sort of hovered.

She felt excitement when she realized the dragon had seen her and was headed towards her. She pranced and laughed when it reached her and began to circle, curious. She was just as curious. "What are you? Who are you? Can I touch you?" She babbled quickly, the tips of her lyra wings quivered with excitement.

Letting out a deep chuckle he was amused by her curiosity it had been a long time since someone hadn't instantly become hostile towards his own curious nature. "I'm like you... but not right now... I'm Amalendu Vari and you can try." Though she wouldn't know it, his voice was deep and gruff compared to his normal tone as a normal horse. He hoovered closer to her hooves, his form shifting in the breeze back and forth and making him almost look like he wasn't quite in reality. He really wanted her to try, just for it to pass straight through him, maybe if would even tickle?

She was confused and amused by the shifting shadow dragon with the deep voice. She could almost feel it in her bones. "Like me? That doesn't make sense." She reached out a hoof to try to touch him...and it passed through so she jerked her hoof away. "That's weird." And then she seemed to remember manners her mother had tried to bang into her head when she was little. He'd told her his name, her deserved hers. "I'm Tatianna Sondreas." She shifted and pranced, she was still excited but now she was also a little nervous.

"What mouthful for names we both have, our parents must love us." He found himself chuckling again as he could see the glee and confusion wash over the mares features. "How about." Then he decided to try and aid her confusion by shifting back to his horse self, still a little unusual but pale in comparison to the dragon. "I call you Anna, and you can call me whatever the bugger you like." He enjoyed the shock and reactions he got, but he wasn't one for playing mysterious stranger for long, preferring just to have fun.

She blinked and tried desperately to realize that strange dragon had turned into an even stranger looking star. Four wings, three cat tails, cat ears, stripes everywhere (much like her own), mane brushing over his eyes and long down his neck. He was quite a lot to take in. And he was wrong, he was nothing like her. Unless he considered that they both had four hooves to be alike. She snorted and through to herself that apples and oranges were both fruit. That didn't make them alike. "That's what my mother calls me, or Tia. I think it's traditional to give long names in my family. My aunts name is a mouthful too." She tried to remember the name he'd called himself and only came up with the last part. "May I call you Vari?" She turned her head sideways at him. "You're not like me. I've never seen anything like you."

"I suppose Vari is shorter than whatever the bugger you like so sure, why not eh?" He grinned and flicked his tails... all three at once just in different manners. "Oh really? Can't of seen all that much, but we both got hooves, and wings and uh tail....s, I like to meet strangers in the middle of the night, how about you?" One day someone would tell him how much of a creepy jerk he could come across, someone unrelated to him and his herd. Till then he'd just carry on in his own way and maybe even after that.

"I can remember Vari easier." She nods and then continued to inspect him. "I think you're comparing trees and flowers. They both grow, that's about all that's similar. I have two wings and one tail, you have double and triple both of those. And...and...well I don't generally meet people in the middle of the night but sometimes I guess tonight it happened. I wander around."
