Dylan walks into the school's kitchen, looking excited about something. She opens the cupboards, taking pictures of the things inside before closing them again. She then scurries over to the counter, hopping up onto it and trying to reach for a bowl on the top shelf. Her mom didn't give her money to buy groceries again... So as she sometimes did, she came to cook some food for herself. She hoped none of the elders would mind...

Quin had wanted to go check out the dorms, but Sono was busy with some work related thing that he didn't understand, so he announced that he was going to go check them out himself. He didn't know when or if he'd move out of Sono's house and into the dorms, but he wanted to see what was there anyway, just in case it was so cool it made him want to move out sooner.
The first thing he wanted to know was if it had a kitchen or not, and much to his delight, it did. Quin pushed the doors open to the kitchen and then skipped inside, beaming widely. It was even a high quality kitchen! Both hands on his cheeks, he stared around the room in utter amazement. Oh the things he could cook! He didn't even notice Dylan.

Unfortunately, Dylan did notice him, and she turns around to try and say hello. She accidentally loses her balance, grabbing the cupboard to prevent herself from crashing into the ground. Well, this was an awkward position "H-Hiya! Nice to see you, never seen ya around before!" She continues to try and regain her balance, her hand starting to slip.

Oh what was that!? Quin turned around to see Dylan in her most awkward position, brows raised. "O-oh! Hi! Uhhh are you okay?" He shuffled over and attempted to help her right herself. "I'm Quin, I'm not really new but I just got a home like three weeks ago I dunno, I was pretty occupied with stuff. Nice to meet you, uhhh...." He realized he had no idea what her name was a blinked a few times.

"My name is Dianna, but I like Dylan better!" She grabs a bowl, thinking for a moment before grabbing another one and hopping down. She puts the bowls down and giving Quin a hug "Nice to meet you! I'm happy to see you!" Her wings flapped happily and she spins, giggling before...falling on her face. She is clumsy on her feet, but that doesn't stop her from bouncing back up.

"Oh! Okay, I'll call you Dylan then." Quin giggled a bit, his own wings fluttering a little. "What are you making? I came to see if the dorms have a kitchen 'cause I'm not sure if I wanna move in yet 'cause I just met my dad but woah this kitchen is GREAT!" He waved a hand around the room excitedly.

"I was just gonna make some spagetti and eat what I could, then leave the leftovers for anyone else who wanted some! Are you hungry? I wouldn't mind making extra!" She goes and pulls out various ingredients, such as tomatos,eggs, celery, heavy cream, cheese, and two types of flour. HSe looks around for the KitchenAid™, humming excitedly.

"Oh no, I'm good, I had some food at home before I came over." He nodded, giggling a bit. "Looks like you're gonna make tasty pasta though~ whoever gets the leftovers will be lucky!." Quin nodded, and then shuffled off to ooh and aah at the various kitchen appliances he didn't have at home.
"I could... make a whole bake sale's worth of cookies in one go, woooow..."

"You like cooking huh?" She starts chopping up the vegetables, wearing an apron that said "Kiss the Cook". She stole it out of her mom's pantry, she didn't understand why anyone would want to kiss though. Kissing was gross, it's where cooties came from. "Baking, stuff like that? What's your favorite thing in the whole world to bake?"

"Yes! I love to cook. Its the best thing ever. Well, dancing is too but cooking is my real passion." Quin turned around and nodded excitedly. "What do you like to do? Photography? I've never used a camera before."

She nods, handing him her camera "It's really fun, you can flip through it if you want! There's lots of neat pictures in it!" She continues to cook, humming happily as she starts to mix pasta.

Quin took the camera carefully, and looked it over, then fumbled with the buttons a little until he figured out how to work it. "Oh wow you're pretty good." He grinned, giggling a little. "You're a really good photography, Dylan."

"Thank you!" He'll notice some of the pictures are blotted out by her finger, but otherwise they are fairly good "What else do you like doing other than cookin'?" She herself didn't enjoy cooking all that much, but at the same time she burned a lot of food, and didn't want to eat unhealthy.

Quin shrugged a little and then set the camera down gently on a clean bit of counter. "I dunno, I like to dance! My dad's a scientist so he's tryin to teach me sciencey things but I don't really get it..." He shrugged again. "He said that cooking is a science so I'll prolly catch on, but I thought that cooking was an art? I don't get it."

"I think it really depends on how you work at it...Some people only follow recipes, and get the same results through exact preparations and measurements. I think in that sense, it's a science. But others like to play around with their measurements, sometimes making something kinda gross then other times making something wonderful and fantastic! Then there's also how you plate the food, making it look pretty or like a mess!" She rambles for a bit, stopping herself before turning red from how much she talked "S-sorry, didn't mean to talk so much..."
