Setting: Amityville Springs: A cave behind the Undead Dorms houses the delightful, recently re-discovered Amityville Hot Springs (typical geothermal hot springs, both salt and fresh), Really Really Hot Springs (lava and a smoke sauna), Not-Very-Hot-At-All Springs (ice bath and snow bath), and Acidic Death Springs (obvious). The pools are set into the natural floor of the cavern, which has many stalactites and stalagmites. Side tunnels contain changing facilities and basic showers.
The lava/acid pools have a failsafe magical shield over the top of them preventing instant death, making them utterly unique on campus.
IC Items: There's a table of food and drinks to the side of the room poorly decorated with tinsel that's trying to fall off. There are various beach balls floating in the water. Other things can be added as you like!
How You Heard ICly: If you follow Roch's groanspring, he posted it, if you saw someone heading this way and followed, if you followed a rather harried looking pizza boil with a pile of pizza boxes across campus, or if you knew where the springs were--and were going for a dip-- IDK, if you can come up with something, go with it!
Time Frame: ICly this is just for about half a day. OOCly, we'll try and finish up around Jan 1st.
Presents?: WHITE ELEPHANT GIFTS! We're talking ridiculous IC only (you can link pictures on the web if you like!) gifts that they find in their pockets/on the ground/or buy to troll people!
Games: The White elephant gift exchange will take place later in the event!
Who's Invited?: EVERYONE (er, except quests, sorry). Students, horsemen, if you can get your hunter in a golem, go for it! I don't care!

Roch pulled out his granddad's credit card, paying the first pizza boil with a grin before taking the massive pile of boxes over to the table. It was warm in here, which was nice--all that snow was jackin' FREEZING, and he figured everyone could use a pool day--even the people that hated water like his best friend, this place was set up for EVERYONE.
He just wondered if anyone would show up. Lots of crap had been happening lately, and he knew it was a bit overwhelming for everyone, but hell, even a handful of people relaxing and goofing off would make it worth it!

Lily was passing by with her brother when she noticed someone scurry by with some nice smelling boxes. Curiosity struck. She turned to her brother offering a pleading lip wibble. Not that she needed to. He conceded to let her wander off to investigate, so she did. This was how she found the place. Arriving right behind the first pizza delivery boil, dressed in a ridiculous amount of fur coat.
"Hi!" She shouted across the cave before Roch wandered too far away.

Roch jerked, glancing up at the horseman for a moment as his mind rushed. Well, he hadn't said NO to horsemen showing up, right? He didn't trust them, sure, but there was one of her and one of him, and he thought he could take her if things got too bad.
That and he was JOY infected. "Yo! If y'wanna swim there's some swimsuits in that changin' room over there. Pizza and pop's over here," he added, popping open a few of the pizza boxes and grabbing a slice. It disappeared in a matter of seconds.
Then he headed for the CD player in the corner to set up his eyephone to play music.

Lily looked where he indicated the swim suits to be then back at the boxes as he finally unveiled their contents, "Pee-zah?" She stared curiously watching how one ate such an item before sidling right up to a box, "What is in a pee-zah?"

"It's food," Roch said, turning on Christmas Music before heading back to the box. "Bread, sauce, cheese and meat toppings," he told her, picking up another slice and offering it over. "It tastes good." Well, he shouldn't have been surprised that a Conquest Horseman didn't know what pizza was, he thought with amusement. "There's different types, so if y'wanna dig through all the boxes and try 'em all, go for it!"

Lily suddenly looked startled at the abrupt introduction of loud music out of nowhere. His approach and offer got equally startled results, "Augh, no, what's going on?!" She couldn't see the creators of such loud music anywhere.

"It's a Christmastival party," Roch said. "There's gonna be swimming, food and music. It's a... Halloween thing, I guess." Which it wasn't, and he knew for a fact, but going into the whole "we're celebrating a different holiday simply cuz it comes with free stuff" probably wouldn't work for a horseman.

"Ohhhh. Okay," Lily smiled but was clearly still confused. She reached in seizing a slice of pizza herself from a box and pointing at it, "Pee-zah." Then slowly moving it towards her mouth with a worried look. Worried it might genuinely kill her.

He grabbed another slice and took a bite out of it. "See? It's made of FEAR, you'll be fine," he said after inhaling the rest of it. "You horsemen, y'still live off FEAR, right? Wait, stupid question. If y'didn't, y'wouldn't have lasted this long," he said.
"There's some pop here, an' a smoothie machine, if y'get thirsty," he added, grabbing a cup and pouring himself a smoothie by lowering a lever. "It's cold, so don't drink it too quick."

LIly gave the slice a curious lick after his demonstration. It seemed rather greasy for fear. Perhaps it is under cooked? She sighed at the slice as if eating it was going to be this horrible chore before finally taking a bite. Then another. And another. Her slice was gone and she was making very unlady-like sounds of approval. She was eyeing the rest of the box covetously and then her host... then the box. She finally swallowed what she had before reaching for a napkin to delicately dab at the corners of her mouth.
"Where are the rest of your guests?"

He handed her another slice. "They'll either show up or they won't," he said with a shrug, taking a long drink of his smoothie. "I've found people show up when there's free food t'be had," he added. "Y'can have more, y'know. I've got more comin. I'm gonna go change into my swimtrunks, though. I'm gettin' sick and tired of freezin' cuz of the snow. I'll be right back."
Then he headed for the boil's changing room, disappearing from sight and leaving her with a ton of pizza.

Lily watched him go and as soon as she thought he was gone she put the slice he'd given her back and kidnapped a completely untouched box of pizza with everything on it. Trying that. And liking it as the entire contents of that box.... mysteriously vanished.
