If anyone had seen Alexandre Evans on his way out of Meadowview high they'd have been in for a shock. Blond hair had fallen mostly out of it's normal tight band, so it fell about his face in some manner of disarray, and he looked to be in more than a slight hurry. Rather than fast walking, like some did, he was flat out running to his locker and tossing notebooks and textbooks into the dull blue colored school storage unit. Slamming his locker shut those short legs made fast work of weaving in and around and out of all the cheering, chatting, giddy students around him. He needed to get home! Couldn't they get out of his way?
It was an agonizingly slow drive home once he'd gotten out of school, couldn't people drive just a little faster? The whole way home he was tapping his hands on the wheel, just wishing to speed things up. He might have his things all packed, he'd gotten Johnathan things for himself so he had been busy packing his own things rather than packing for Alexandre, but he felt the need to get home and get everything ready as soon as possible. It was a feeling which overwhelmed him and filled him enough energy that he simply couldn't sit still!
At home Alexandre parked in front, the usual spot, and once inside he was moving through the house and into the kitchen to the back door. Letting Cadha out into the backyard before moving up to his room to get his packed luggage. The luggage was carried down stairs, two bags at a time, three bags full and a fourth bag that wasn't fulld (he'd fill it while over there), they were left down by the front door lined up. Hurrying back to get Cadha he sighed as he called him in, the back door open as he stood at the threshold between the kitchen and the backyard. As the little dog came trotting back in, little stub of a tail wagging, Alexandre shook his head while giving the little dog a smile. "Can't wait to get over seas with us, can you?" The hotel, thankfully, allowed dogs. So Cadha was booked for the flight as well. "Your gonna get your wings tonight, little one." Bending down to scoop to little black terrier up. Nuzzling him he went toward the cupboard to get the dog food out so he could feed him, and pack food for him for the flight.
"Johnathan should be home soon....and Lily." Musing to himself aloud as he set about getting things in the house done before the others got here. He wanted to hurry them all out the door and toward the airport, that was the plan already set in his mind.

Johnathan Miller had a big day ahead of him and he needed to get home!
His usual spastic self easily wove in and out of the crowd coming out of Azure Valley Academy. Finals were finished and at that moment, Johnny didn't care how well he did. His tutoring from Zircon definitely paid off in spades - he actually knew some of the answers! That was a first! Maybe for his New Years Resolution would be to focus more attention on school but that was so far away! He, Alex and Lily had a plane to catch!
Hopping on the bus as soon as he could, Johnny couldn't sit still and the ride felt like it took forever with all the other school traffic. Everyone on the bus was chatting excitedly about what they would do and where they would go to spend the holiday break. Nobody believed Johnny when he said he was going overseas. Thankful that his mother gave him her blessing, Johnny didn't feel at all guilty. He'd packed everything he thought he'd need the night before into two suitcases - tons of clothes (especially warm ones!), things to keep him busy and he was bringing a completely empty suitcase for souvenirs!
As soon as the bus pulled up, Johnny smashed himself against the door and took to the street in a full-out run. When he finally made it home and burst through the door, he skidded through the kitchen, tossed his backpack at some point, tripped over the couch and nearly curb-stomped himself on the staircase. But dammit, he was ready. Zooming up the stairs to grab his suitcases, the boy pulled them back down and nearly landed in a heap at the bottom. He was practically vibrating.
"ALEX I AM SO READY WHEN DO WE LEAVE???"

Lily had been out all day. She had finished up the last of the Christmas shopping and then proceeded to finish dropping in her friends bearing gifts and hugs for all. She would be going overseas once more, but this trip was meet with promises of being back just after the new year and reassurances that she had a return ticket.
She had greatly enjoyed the visits, but she hadn't been able to see all her friends and so some gifts had been dropped off in mailboxes and on porches as time dwindled down and she found herself rushes through the last few stops knowing she needed to get home.
She managed to make it home, arms full of more gifts than Xander, Alex, and Johnny probably needed, just in time to see Johnny barreling down the steps with his suitcases. She shook her head at him. "We'll we be late if those pop open. Be more careful," but she grinned all the while her own excitement rising to the surface.
"Alex," she called, "I'm home and I need help with these gift. I got a little carried away." It was obvious, Lily could barely be seen behind the neatly wrapped pile of gifts in her arms.
"Oh and Xander says he's going to see us off at the airport. He's got gifts for us."

Would it be terrible of him to laugh? He thought it would be but he couldn't hold back, not fully anyway. The laughter that came from him was soft, he didn't want to let himself laugh as loud as he felt he could otherwise. It was just so amusing to see how Johnathan came into the house, he was so excited, and he seemed to only just avoid hurting himself, which was a good thing all things considered.
From the kitchen he found his voice, after several moments of silence. "Soon. We need to wait for Lily and make sure everything is in order. Cadha needs one last let out back before he goes into his kennel for travel as well. But we'll be at the airport before dinner, so no worries." So within the next three hours they'd be at the airport and hopefully boarding the plane.
Cadha, set on the ground by now, followed at the blonds heels as he managed to make it to the living room as he'd once again been over taken by laughter. "Lily! You really did out do yourself." No surprise there really. Alexandre had done a fair amount of shopping as well, fair amount taken to mean a lot, for family and those close enough to earn a gift from him. Those things were either already under someone elses tree, as there wasn't one here, already opened by the receiver, or in the mail, in the case of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Reaching up to help grab some of the gifts from her arms he started unloading them slowly onto the couch.
"My luggage is already down byt he door. Cadha's food is down, and mostly eaten, he's been out but will need another let out before he's put into his kennel. the taxi service should be here soon." Rather than put a car into long term parking at the airport he'd decided on a taxi service, and not a yellow cab either. So they'd been called and the time and all set.
"Xander has something...for all of us? I can only imagine." Really it wasn't a surprise really, Xander and he were quite a bit closer than before at this point. Xander actually had a gift, or several, under the tree at the Jacob's family home.
"I still need to pack food and water for the flight - for Cadha. The rest of the dog food bag will be coming with us." Something that had it's own little piece of luggage to go into, along with a few little things for Cadha - yes the dog had his own travel luggage.
"Can you think of anything I've forgotten?" He asked, looking up from where he was piling packages on the couch.

Everything was so exciting, Johnny could barely handle it. He looked like a drug addict all strung out and uncontrollable. The boy did his best to stay still or at least, relatively calm. He helped scoop some of the packages from Lily's hands and started to pile them under the Christmas tree. Some packages from Johnny were there too - while he didn't have his own job, his mother sent money every two weeks to help pay Alex (and by extension, Lily too) and the boy used it to buy presents for his friends. He had heard about Xander peripherally - Johnny knew Xander was Lily's older brother though Johnny had never met him. It was very nice of Xander to buy them all presents! Maybe the boy could find Lily's older brother something nice in France? Oh this was so exciting!Johnny scooted his luggage over to the door and started bouncing. "I got everything packed - toothbrush, underwear, warm clothes, scarves, hats, shoes, pants, origami paper. Man do we need anything else THIS IS SO EXCITING. I've never been overseas and oh I got a camera too for lots of photos!" Never mind the fact that Johnny had an older camera phone (he wasn't trusted to work anything even remotely close to an iPhone). He stood next to Alex with a huge grin on his face. "Do we know who gets the window seat? Do you think we'll get dinner on the flight cuz it's real long?"

He really did want to slow Johnathan down, the boys energy at the moment was more contagious than normal. Alexandre figured it was because he was already filled with nervous energy and on edge himself, so Johnathan's added energy only made it worse for the normally calm blond. He actually felt like moving, a need to move, and do things. He wasn't sure what but he was somehow sure that there was things which still needed to be done - more than what he'd already told Lily.
"Of course, they offer meals on planes. With the amount of time we'll be in the air I'm figuring two, plus drinks between." He had no idea what to expect meal wise, he hadn't been on a lane in years, but he knew whatever it was he'd deal with it - even if he didn't like it. "I'd say grab a pillow and blanket. From what I remember the one time I was on a plane you'll need it. The pillow offered was too small and thin and the blanket even thinner." That was another thing he'd need to get up in his room, and he'd almost forgotten! His normally organized mind had been thrown in disarray today, completely in disarray. His hair was still mused from his escape from school and it became even more mused as his fingers combed through it roughly.
"And socks, you didn't mention socks Johnathan." He added when he finally went over, for the third time, mentally what the other had packed. Do you have film or is it a digital camera?" If he had to he'd make sure the other had a proper camera for this trip, he wanted Johnathan to have good memories and pictures that were equally as good.
Moving toward the kitchen, to get dog food packed and water bottles packed up to travel with Cadha, he finished speaking over his shoulder. "Window seat...I don't think we've decided though I don't mind if you take it. What do you think Lil?" He asked shortening her name in his hurry to get everything needed.

Lily laughed lightly at the comment about outdoing herself. "Yes well I'm just so happy to be home I couldn't help myself. I just wanted to get some many things for everyone, especially you boys. You, Xander, and you too Johnny." She grinned while the pair helped her put the gifts under the tree.
She gave sad smile at the mention of Cadha because he parent's had thought it would be best for Eamon to stay in England and she missed him. Her parents were right now, she didn't have as much time for him as she use to and he was getting to old to be making as long a flight as they were about to make. "I miss Eamon," she said softly, "its really great Cadha will be coming with us. Poor Xander's going to be all alone on Christmas though."
Her momentary sadness melted away quickly and she nodded, "you know Xander. He's just like that. He's really good to the people he really cares about. He's been referring to you as our little brother a lot lately. It's odd, but it feel right you know."
She grinned and looked to Johnny, "who know maybe you'll be like our little brother too one day." She gave a light giggle.
At the mention of packing and a camera Lily remembered she'd forgotten to pack her laptop and her camera. "Oh good thing you mention pictures Johnny I forgot to pack my camera. Not that you too won't take enough pictures for all of us."
She gave a warm smile at Alex reminding Johnny about socks, enjoying the odd dynamic of the house before turning to the step and heading up them. "I don't mind if Johnny takes the window seat. It's great to see the world get smaller as you take off. I'm sure you'll love it Johnny."
She quickly dashed about her room looking for her camera and getting her laptop bag together before grabbing her luggage to take downstairs. She had to many bags and probably looked rather crazy heading down the steps as slow as possible with luggage sticking out everywhere.
"Shall we open some gifts now. I mean we can't take them all to Paris. I uh bought to many." She grinned again, putting her bags by the door with Alex's.

"I've never been on a plane before!" he piped in, smiling as he leaned on the smaller blonde boy. "Mom always said I'd never pass security. But with you guys there n'... oh I got my ID an' all that, n' my passport too, just like Alex said to! It's in my... my luggage, yep. My lil' messenger bag thing... n'... boy I'm hungry. Should we eat before we go?" Johnny blushed when he'd been called their pseudo-family's little brother. "I uh... well I'm the only kid in my family so... I guess I never really got siblings, you know?" He wasn't sure what to make of all these feelings and sort of wandered about the room, sighing happily. Perhaps this family was better than his biological? He did desire to see them when they got back, perhaps have a second Christmas with them. But for now, he had this family. "....aww okay it's your fault but... c'mere." Johnny lifted his arms and spread them wide, bouncing around to initiate that special holiday group hug. Sleet Tempest Snape Sorry about the wait! "Your parents aren't coming back for Christmas like they did for Thanksgiving?" He asked, surprise flooded his features, as he peeked out of the kitchen to look at Lily. "I'm surprised. They've always been big on family." Still were as far as he knew. "I could always talk to my parents while we're on the way to the airport. I'm sure they wouldn't mind inviting Xander over for the holiday, or going over to your family home." Whichever would be best for Xander of course. Though poor Xander would have to suffer Alexandre's cousins, who Alexandre still saw as walking nightmares. But they would surely make Xander feel at home. Even amongst his aunts, uncles, and assorted cousins it was known how his parents and himself were close with the Jacob's family. They didn't need to actually know any member of the Jacob's family, which they didn't, to make said member feel like family and welcome at any gathering.
"I've always been the little brother really." Shaking his head as he smiled at her before ducking back into the kitchen to finish getting Cadha's things ready for the trip. When he finally came out of the kitchen he was smiling still. "I guess the time we spent together here helped - no surprise really." And it hadn't taken much either. The bonding was good, for them both. He'd even been referring to Xander as a brother more often than he previously had.
"I'm sure Johnathan will be as well. He's fitting in quite nicely I'd say. Though I really wish he'd let me take on more of the house work. It feels wrong letting him do everything." A teasing smile directed to Johnny, to soften his words. Though really he did wish Johnathan would allow him to do more, even though he knew he already had a lot on his shoulders. It simply didn't feel right letting Johnathan take on so much. The boy already had a lot on his shoulders, he was sure of that.
"Alright, so Johnathan, you get the window seat." At this declaration he smiled brightly at the pale blue haired teen. "I'm sure you'll appreciate it more than I would." And Lily had been on a plane more times than he had, and likely had at least once had a window seat. This was Johnathan's first flight, why not make it the best and let him have the window seat.
With Johnathan leaning on him he nodded his head and turned his face towards the others, putting their faces impossibly; and inappropriately, close. "I was born an only child as well. But I seem to have found myself several siblings. Your just the newest one." Though he did also sometimes, ok often times, feel like the others parent. He could also say it was like an older siblings feeling, though if he remembered right Johnathan was actually older. "A person can have two family's Johnathan...the one your born to and then the one you choose. This one." He said while turning his head to nod to Lily. "Is the one which you've chosen and which has chosen you in return. Your stuck with us." At the last four words he turned back to face the other and gave him a smirk before letting the other bounce on over toward Lily.
"Looks like we get to open some gifts now...since Lil's can't not buy out a store when it comes to holiday shopping." Where as he couldn't not buy out a store on a normal shopping trip, though he was working toward getting better on that. Huffing a sigh, as if it took great effort, he walked over to Johnathan and hugged him while motioning Lily to join the group hug. "Hey Lils...now that Johnathan is part of the family, and you can't deny that he isn't or say that he one day will be - he already is, do you think I'll have another person calling me Tink?" He asked. It was the nickname he had within his family, even the most disliked of his cousins called him that, and he wondered if Johnathan would be calling him that soon as well. Had Johnathan even a clue as to the nickname, or it's playful origins?

Lily shook her head and gave a somewhat irritated glance before pushing it away. "No, they stayed here to long looking for me. My day used up a lot of his vacation time, plus we decided it would be best if we spend some time apart. We all needed to cool off. It weird and I wish I could see Rose, but it's for the best. Besides we will be in Paris anyway."
Lily gave a small giggle, "that's okay Alex. You don't have to do that. You know Xander's not the most social person. I think he's quite looking forward to a quiet holiday. Beside he's still not finished getting settled in at the big house. I think my parents will being giving it to him, he's still organizing things."
Lily nodded, it was true even since Alex was born he'd been the little brother, but things had changed for the better recently. She like that they were all getting closer. It was weird how the situation with her had played out for the three of them. "Yeah, we'll always be a big old happy extended family." She gave a small laugh and looked to Johnny feeling more excited because he was so excited.
"Sound's like you have everything to me Johnny. Wait till you see when you taking off and everything getting smaller and smaller. The first time I saw it I just couldn't stop laughing. Really the world looked like a doll house the smaller it got. My mom took a billion pictures. I think that was a trip to Disney World. We should all go there some time."
She looked to Alex and nodded at his words, "yeah, he's right your stuck with us." She then pouted at Alex's and Johnny's teasing. "It's not my fault, there were just so many things for everyone. I couldn't decide what to get. Beside you guys deserve everything you got."
Lily laughed and shook her head, laughter dying but the smile remaining on her face. "Yeah Tink, it looks as though it might come to that." She skipped over into the hug, wrapping her arm around the two and enjoying the hug for a moment.
"This is going to be the best holiday ever, but come now, let opens some gifts and get a snack so we won't be starved on the plane. I hungry to Johnny."

The announcement that Johnny would get the window seat was met with a leap of joy. He was hoping he'd get that seat so he could look out the window when they crossed the sea. Since he'd never been on a plane before, Johnny didn't know if the movement would make him sick or not, doubling the window seat's effectiveness. When Lily said it was time to open presents and that she was hungry, the boy jumped up and sped into the kitchen. "I got so anxious that I made this cracker platter thing. It's got cheese n' crackers n' veggies n' dip too but I can make us sammiches before we leave! I dunno how much time we got left though." Holding the platter above his head, Johnny looked at his blonde roommate. "Alex, what time do we hafta leave?" The boy then set the platter on the nearest coffee table. it still held a chill from being in the refrigerator since this morning. Johnny had prepared it before he left for school - it was the only thing he could do to keep sane. Johnny then plopped down in front of the tree. "Ready!" he said, nearly vibrating.

"Yeah, I understand. The whole situation was weird to say the least." The no notice to going to Britain, moving items and packing things, and then there was calling it a vacation when it clearly had not been any such thing. "I can imagine things aren't perfect between you and your parents after all was said and done. It'll take time to mend." Smiling to Lily he bobbed his head.
"If your sure? I mean...the holidays are a time to spend with people - family." And his family was as good as Lily's and vice verse. His parents, and his extended family, would make sure Xander felt at home and wasn't alone for the holidays. He knew his own parents wouldn't be, his cousins, aunts, and uncles would be over the house. It was normal for his family to go to his parents home since it was bigger, big enough to fit everyone. His grandparents would even turn up, as they always did for holidays. Really if you took the whole Evans family, the Jacob's family, and now tossed in Johnathan, it was a large family and while extended it was close-ish.
"Disney...that's not a trip my family ever took while I was growing up." Not that he minded that now at least, he had then of course. The only trip he'd really taken was the one to Europe with Lily and her family a few years back. But he could remember leaning over someone to see out the window and look down at the small world below them, not to mention all the clouds. The clouds and the sun setting had been very nice, then he'd fallen asleep in his seat.
Nuzzling Lily as she hugged them both he smiled toward her. "I'll get snac-" The words died on his lips as Johnathan went to get a platter, when had he made that? Shaking his head he looked down to the watch strapped about his right wrist. "We got like half an hour till the car service is here. We should be fine with the platter. We might have time to grab something to eat at the terminal. Or we can wait till meal time on the plane - we should be good." Though maybe not. No telling, he didn't know how long it would be between boarding and the first meal, he was sure there would be two meals.
"I don't know how you manage to do so much Johnathan, I really don't." And he honestly didn't. The boy seemed to make more time, fit more things into a day than Alexandre or anyone he knew could or did, and he still had so much energy! "Alright, so lets decide which items we want opened here and which ones we'll take with us to have opened there." As he said this he was going over to the tree to grab up a few items, looking over each one before either putting it back under the tree or setting it aside.
When he stood back up, his hair falling about his face in a mess, a smile in place. "Alright, five for you both. I'll take the rest with us." And he did have at least as many for each of them back under the tree. "Lily, these are yours." Motioning to a small pile wrapped in red, gold, silver, green, blue, and other rich colors. "Johnathan, these are yours." And those five had brighter wrapping paper or paper with scenes on it. All had bows and little cards though. I figure we'll go from opening gifts to the car arriving, then to the airport and maybe a small meal there, we can figure that out, and then onto the plane, who falls asleep and who doesn't. How that goes. And then landing and out of the terminal and the first look at Paris. If that's good with you both?

Lily nodded about it taking time for their relationship to mend, but shook her head when the conversation turned back to Xander. "Our brother will be just fine Tink. He's still readjusting to life back in Destiny after spending so much time looking for me and staying here. He needs some time to himself, beside maybe he'll use this time to find himself a girlfriend."
Lily grinned to herself. Xander with a girlfriend, was currently as likely with Alex having a girlfriend. He simply had to much going on and Lily wouldn't approve right now anyway, not until he was more sure on his feet in his knight life.
Lily frowned at the Disney comment, "you sure didn't and I wished you were there the whole week. I remember wishing you were there to go on the rides with me, so if I go back you're going to." It was a definite for Lily, she wouldn't go without Alex. Vacations were always better with her best friend there.
She laughed enjoying the cuddly hug, for she really loved cuddles, from Alex more than anyone, but that had to do with be most use to them from him. She really started laughing when Johnny disappeared and reappeared with a tray sandwiches for them to eat. She happily grabbed a sandwich to munch on and plopped down on the floor to open present.
"I'm really glad he does manage, I'm not sure I could. And I think we should really be fine to wait until the plane ride. I don't think I'll get hungry again before we get on the plane since were having sandwiches now."
She took the five gifts handed to her and then grabbed about three for Alex and looked to Johnny to pass him some more. Alex's presents looked to be wrapped in papered with wreath's, holly, poinsettia's and mistletoe printed on them. The paper was very befitting on the boy. "So who want to go first."Sleet Tempest Snape Lufo did a solo for the plane ride, which i quite like. I think we should stick to it. All of them fell asleep. I'd say Lily fell asleep first. Johnny was a racer who didn't wait for the proverbial gunshot before he was off like a rocket. Paper and ribbon and tissue were flying every which way, like a wrapping paper aisle at Michael's had exploded all over the living room. Johnny held up his prize - a black hoodie with a little ninja decal on the front. He hugged it with glee and began to strip so he could put it on. "This is the best thing ever!" he exclaimed. He knew it was from Alex because he had spent a split second actually reading the card. "Thank you, Alex! I hope you an' Lily like what I got you guys. I know it's not much cuz I don't havva job but still." The next presents went under in quick succession - Ninja Warrior DVDs from Lily, a Bruce Lee collection from Xander, more origami paper from Alex... Johnny was a very good boy this year! He beamed with pride and wasn't sure if all his energy would make him crash suddenly or explode in a pile of confetti and sugar. After he finally allowed himself to breathe, the boy deflated on the floor to slow down a little. He couldn't help but vibrate like a cellphone. "omgomgomgomgomgomg we're gonna be on a plane, goin' over the water an' to Paris it'll be SO COOL." Sleet Tempest Snape I asked Sleet and she said to just wing what Johnny got. XD

"Xander with a girlfriend is as likely to happen as pigs flying. No offense, of course, but our brother seems rather oblivious when it comes to romance." How someone could be that oblivious was lost to Alexandre, he just didn't get how it was at all possible. Shaking his head he smiled. "He'll settle back in to Destiny city well." He was sure of that, wouldn't have been so sure of it if he knew the other was a new knight though.
"Disney...at this age? Really, wouldn't that seem a bit...immature?" He asked with a raised brow to follow the inquiry. "Maybe though...we could take Johnathan as well and maybe drag Xander as well." Johnathan would love it and Xander was family and thus had to get dragged along with the trip, it simply wasn't a proper family trip when a member was missing - never mind the fact his parents and Lily's would be absent as would Rose.
As he spoke, like most any well raised teenager, with Lily he watched Johnathan rip and tear into gifts as he tried to continue talking and not burst out in laughter at the antics of Johnathan. He really was an innocent, how that didn't fit with the image of him being in the Negaverse, he'd keep him safe as much as he could and for as long as he could. "I missed you the whole time you were in Disney, I did want to go - if only to be with you that week. It was quite boring." Since Lily had, at that point in his life, been his only friend and with no one to play with and talk to he'd been bored and lonely the whole week. School and time at home had just...been dull and for a child that was always a big bad thing.
"Your turn Lily, open your gifts." His own wrapped gifts, appropriately wrapped, sat in his lap as he nibbled a sandwich that he'd grabbed from the tray. Seeing as he'd gotten Lily a Pandora bracelet, while she'd been in England, and sent it to her he'd thought it only fitting to get her another bead for it - or two. A gift box, wrapped with a red ribbon, was one of the beads while the other was of the Effie Tower - both were fitting. He had gone with gifts he thought fit both his friends and it seemed he had done well with Johnathan if the others exclamations and currant vibrating giddy behavior were any indication. He was glad he'd done well, he had worried and fretted, as always, over what gifts he'd gotten for the two.I say we work from here to them getting the gift, at the airport, from Xander and boarding. Then we can call it finished. So gift opening, ride to the air port, gift from Xander, and then boarding. Sound good? Since Lu did her solo. ::Nods::
