I always try to look back and see what was going on since I was last here, and it looks like that was April... Quickie update: Bought my house, it's small, but gorgeous and functional and everything is brand spankin' new, I really love it. Andras and I are no longer together, that kind of exploded around Halloween, and I'm way more okay with it than I expected I would be. We've hung out socially a few times since and again, way more okay than I thought it would be. So that's good, I guess.
Still working for the phone company, changed positions in April to internal support, basically I fix things for everyone internally. I really enjoy the job, it's challenging as all hell and I literally learn at least 5 new things every day. I've been writing official processes that have been published at a company-wide level, and I think that's pretty cool!
Other than those major events, just hanging with friends, and planning a 2-week trip to Japan next April, and hoping to buy a car shortly after I get back from there. Possibly taking a road-trip sometime in the summer to Minneapolis to rock some Roller Coaster goodness!
It's really impressive to see so many people who are still here, and so many names I recognize, and to read just how much everyone has accomplished in the (holy moses...) 8 years I've been on this site!

Grats on the house, and sorry about the relationship, though if things turned out okay then maybe I should say grats about that too? You'll have to tell me where you're going in Japan so I can live vicariously through you.
It's great that you have a job you're enjoying! They seem to be a little hard to find nowadays, so that's a blessing worth counting.

That was supposed to have been this spring, but with everything to do with Andras and I splitting up it just didn't hold the same appeal going alone. So instead I'm headed to Japan in April to visit a friend who is living out there!

i am glad you didn't ban me for being negligent.
i was mostly depressed, which is in no way your fault.
it is lovely to have your own place; we're all getting so grown up!
sometimes i even like it.
