Princess Ryssa Merjack V'AidanRyssa had just finished selling a few of her things before heading to Zev's place of residence. She had met him in a dream and although he had left the dream afraid of her she knew there was a connection between them. She also needed him to help her, for he might possibly be the only human willing to help her and not ask questions. It took her a little to make her way to his front door but once she did she knocked on it and waited. She had on a lovely blue outfit, something she had picked up after selling a few of her things, as well as a small backpack and a medium sized travel bag with her. As she stood at his door she hoped that he was in and that when he saw her he would not have the same reaction that he did in the dream they had shared.

Zevran Cousland "Son of a b***h..." Zevran moaned into his pillow as someone knocked on the door. He had been up all night studying, and someone knocking on his door was the last thing he needed.
Still, being a nice guy, Zevran had certain obligations. One being that he did not leave anyone out on his doorstep.
Muttering about every small annoyance that had ever occurred in his life, Zevran slid out of bed and, forgoing a shirt and his glasses, made his way to the door. When he opened it, he blinked in pain as light flooded his eyes. He rose a hand to shield his eyes and looked at the figure who had disturbed his sweet slumber. "Hello, Cousland and Misaki's dorm, which of us is in trouble this time?" he asked, looking into what he hoped was the person's eyes.

Ryssa stood there a smile on her face and worry in her eyes as she waited for someone to open the door. After reading up on Zev's world she had figured out that the word dorm meant that more then one person lived in a single room. She straightened up as she heard footsteps approaching the door and when Zev opened it her jaw dropped fr a moment seeing as she had never seen a male more unclothed other then her brothers when they all had been younger. She mentally shook herself and averted her eyes to his face and spoke although if he had had his glasses on he would see a blush on her cheeks. "Oh no, no one is in trouble. I am here to actually just speak with you Sir." She stood there for a moment before looking over her should slightly. Although she knew that no one knew where she was but those on the ship that she had been on she worried about her betrothed finding her.

Zevran Cousland Zevran breathed a heavy sigh of relief when the girl, he hoped it was a girl at least, said that neither he nor Kyle was in trouble. That admission was a small miracle in and of itself, as the girls who usually showed up at their doorstep wished to either kill Kyle or tell Zevran it was a great run, but they "needed some space". "Yeah, ok. Why don't you come on in? Zevran said, moving out of the doorway so that Ryssa could enter the dorm.

Nipping at her lower lip slightly Ryssa stood there for a moment before she heard the male saying she could come in. She gave him a small smile and stepped into the room and stood to the side, not sure where to go. "Thank you for allowing me entrance into your home Sir. I am sorry if I woke you, I just needed to speak to you." She held her hands in front of her, holding her bags there in her grip as she stood she really didn't know where to start so she took a breath and spoke softly. "sir, this is going to sound weird, and I am sorry if any of it frightens you, but I am in desperate need." Steeling herself for a reaction similar to the one she had when she had been on the ship Ryssa spoke once more. "My name is Ryssa and I am the oldest and hair to the throne on my planet. We have been under attack for some time now and to try and keep me safe I was sent here. It seems we have some sort of connection between us, and if I frightened you last night while I was walking among the dreams I didn't mean to. But to move past that, I am here to see if I might e able to ask your help in procuring a place for me to stay and a way for me to get a job as well as start schooling. I need to do everything in my power to blend into this world so that I will not be caught." She worried her lower lip as she suddenly went silent, she prayed she didn't frighten this male again.

Zevran Cousland Zevran listened to the girl as she explained her situation, his eyes wide with awe. What she was saying, it was unbelieveable. Something straight out of a cheap sci-fi novel. And yet, something about it... "Well, how about I help talk to my roomate, see if we can't get him on his way? It doesn't seem like he's going to be staying in school much longer anyway, so, I guess I could help you sign up for classes here." There was just something to her story that made him belive her. Maybe it was the fact that he saw her in a dream the previous night and, percieveing her to be a Maleficar, a Blood Mage, he had attempted suicide in the dream to prevent her from enthralling her. But now, seeing her in the flesh, looking into her eyes, he couldn't help but want to get her settled under his protection. "Let's get some coffee going here, and discuss it over that." Zev said and used a bit of Tech magic to start up the machine from the couch. It needed nothing more as he usually kept the thing stocked with what he needed for coffee so he could do just what he was doing. He smiled as the dorm filled with the smell of coffee. 'Sweet nectar of the gods, that smells good. Zev thought with a smile as he inhaled deeply.

Ryssa took a seat on a chair and listened to the male a little confused as he spoke about his roommate. Tilting her head slightly she spoke in a soft tone. "I am sorry Sir, I am not quite familiar with what you are saying. Are you saying that I might be allowed to stay here, or will you be just helping me sign up for classes? I have enough coin to pay for my own place if staying here will be a problem." Once finished she looked over towards the kitchen area as she heard a machine turn on though no one had touched it. She then looked to him with a slight smile on her face. So this was a place where others had gifts as well, so she wouldn't be forced to hide all of her talents. She looked back towards the male and once more spoke, a little hesitation in her voice. "Sir, how many on this planet have talents like yours?"

Zevran Cousland "In response to your first question, I'm willing to talk it over with Kyle to see if we can't move him along to his next course in life so that you can stay here while you attend classes. I'm offering to help with both a room and schooling, in summary." He said with a smile. Zevran then raised an eyebrow at the girl, trying to divine the meaning to her second question. "And the answer to your second query depends. Are you asking how many magi there are in the world? Or are you asking about Tech Mages personally? I can only give you a rough estimate of each. The boy said before getting up and walking to the kitchen as the coffee finished up. "Also, how do you take your coffee? Black? Or cream and sugar? I might even have milk, if you want me to check."
