Cambria hadn't gotten a chance to go over and be friendly at Tobi during the ball. Or Silas for that matter. She'd been kinda distracted by her gorgeous new girlfriend. But having spotted Tobi in the hallway she wasn't going to let him pass without at least saying hello.
"Hey Tobi! Wait up." She called after him and quickened her pace.

Tobias had come to check out his dorm room, just in case he wanted to move out when he got a little older. Moira and Vic had encouraged it, plus they probably thought he might make a friend or something while visiting the dorms. He was on his way out when he heard someone call his name. He stopped, and looked back over his shoulder, all three eyes locking on Cambria.
He'd seen her at the ball... and she seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. Irritated with his inability to pinpoint where he'd seen her, he cradled his head in one hand. "Do I know you?"

Cambria cocked a hip with one hand resting on it and raised an eyebrow. "Well yeah. Of course you do. When'd you get amnesia. Or is this suddenly a 'no I hate you and never want to speak to you ever again' thing? Because those don't work on me."
She frowned. Well s**t. What the hell happened to Tobi? Number one, he was still a kid. And number two, no one forgot Cambria and got away with it.

He frowned a little and rubbed at his head some more. "What are you talking about...? I don't... I don't know you." He turned to face her, now rubbing at his head with both hands. "I don't understand... you look familiar but I've never spoken to you before..."

Cambria really frowned. "Well I remember you. I mean you were one of my first friends. I met you at a party that your parents held, and my guardians attended, dragging me along. We messed up all the place settings, and you let me keep a silver knife." She paused. "Though I was smaller then I am now, and I wore a really frilly dress."

Tobias stared at her blankly, trying to think. Nothing. Nothing at all. "I don't remember that. And I don't think that Moira or Vic have silver knives to give away or throw fancy parties or anything..." He shook his head a little. "I would say that you've got me confused with someone else but I haven't seen anyone that looks like me wandering around here..."

"Moira? Vic? Oh I am really confused now." Cambria said with a frown. "You had really crummy parents. We... I think you've seriously got amnesia, because if this is a joke it's seriously not funny." She dug around in her purse seeming to take longer to search for something then the size of the bag would suggest necessary. "See? I still have the silver knife." She pulled it from her bag triumphantly.

Crappy parents? What? Moira and Vic were nice parents, even if Vic was a little unnerving since he didn't really talk a lot... "I don't know what you're talking about, I've never seen that knife before... and my parents are good parents!" He took a few steps back, visibly starting to panic a little. "I dunno who you are but you're wrong about all of that stuff!"

"Oh my god." Who ruined Tobi!? She was going to cause them pain. "Look, I'm not calling Moira and Vic bad parents. Cause I wasn't. I don't know them. I don't know how they got to being your parents. But if they're better then those assholes who had you before you apparently lost all memory. Then great!"
She huffed. Her feathers were entirely ruffled. Even her feather hair was puffing up. "I'm just upset you don't remember me!" She flailed her hands around expressively before remembering the knife in her hand. She jammed it back into her purse in frustration.

Tobias backed up a little more, starting to look around for an exit. Well, at least, the third eye was. The other two remained locked on Cambria. "St-stay away from me! I never had a-any parents before an-and I've never met you before." Both hands clamped down on the sides of his head and he squeezed his eyes shut.
Blood. Lots of blood. But it wasn't his... where was all of that blood coming from? Tobi slid to the ground, still cradling his head. It was all so foggy, he couldn't understand why he was seeing all of that blood in his head.
"I don't understand!"

Cambria frowned even more intensely. Well. s**t. There he went holding his head. What the hell was wrong. Well besides the obvious. "Woah, calm down Mr." She said, staying put. If he wanted to get away from her then ... Fine. But sheesh. "I don't understand either. I thought I was memorable! Uh, and I guess I could have the wrong three eyed kid, who speaks with his mind named Tobi..." Yeah. Right.

"They'd tell me..." He let go of his head in favor of rubbing at his regular eyes. "I don't understand... Avon s-said that I was s-supposed to go live with a human family b-but they changed their mind... did he lie to me?" He glanced up at Cambria, looking a little desperate. "B-because you knew my name.."

"Look, I don't know, I don't really care if you remember those assholes. But we were friends." She said stubbornly crossing her arms over her chest and huffing. "I don't much appreciate being forgotten. But I guess I can give you a second chance."

He frowned a little, then looked around somewhat anxiously. He supposed she was okay... if not demanding... okay, well, she was actually kind of scary-- especially with the knife, but for now she wasn't threatening him.
After some inner turmoil on what to do, he looked back up at her. "Okay... were we good friends?"

"Well we didn't get to see each other very often. Mainly because I'm a bad influence, and we got into trouble. But you were one of the first metas I ever met." She shrugged but grinned unrepentantly. She'd considered them somewhat kindred spirits. They both had stupid guardians and disliked their home life.
