[Backlog rp from when Ohtli just left Kizi lands]

Already Fsi was missing the lioness.

Although the male wasn’t the nicest to the female, having her near brought the lion much more comfort than he cared to admit. Sadly though, she wasn’t around. At least, not close. Even though Shahidi decided to leave Fsi with the injured paw, the lion wouldn’t let her get away easily. He watched her from afar, noting her every step and move.

He saw the approaching figure of another lion in the first days she had been away from him. Instantly Fsi begin to ask questions to himself such as – who was this lion? Instantly, the male knew just what he may want, and kept an even closer eye on the two.

At first the two seemed fine and dandy, but then something changed. The niceness in gestures changed from the white lion to something bigger, more evident. The lion wanted something from Shahidi, it was plain as the sun in the sky. The question as, would he get it? Fsi didn’t want to break his mode---he wanted his pet to learn the lesson that she should learn to keep what is good for her. Fsi-toyo offered her protection in exchange for her hunting skills. Was that so bad? The male thought not, but obviously the female had other interpretations.

Fsi-toyo continued to watch from afar. He was so preoccupied with the scenes that unfolded before him, he didn’t hear the sounds of someone else approaching.

“Hello?” the lioness asked softly, her dark red eyes focused on the other male. “Are you lost sir?”

“Shh,” Fsi grunted, eyes narrowing. If this new lioness blew his cover, he’d be one pissed off lion. “Go away, I’m fine.”

“You don’t look fine…In fact… you look…”

“Didn’t I tell you to leave?!”

Ohtli was taken back. She had never experienced such a temper with another, and over such a trivial matter at that! He was quite rude in her opinion. She didn’t leave though, only stood her ground.

Fsi turned his attention back to Shahidi, his fur bristling at the other male’s advances. He should intervene…he should…Wait, why was the lioness still here? “Can I help you?”

Ohtli hummed. “Hmm? Oh… Well…Maybe. I’m just looking for something…Anything really.” She said cryptically. “Maybe you could help?”

“Do I look like someone who looks like they like to help others?”

“…Actually, you look like a person who would be perfect for the job!” Ohtli chirped.

Maybe Fsi was growing old---for normally he would lunge at such a dense female. Maybe being with Shahidi for such the short time already was mellowing his mean heart.

The lion grunted in response, shaking his head. “I don’t think I can help.”

“No? Shame…What are you doing then?” Her dark eyes peered past the male, seeing the two figures in the distance. A fight?

“Oh no!” Ohtli gasped. “We should help them!”

“Don’t you dare. She will figure this out on her own!” Fsi snapped quietly, ready to lunge for the female if she decided to make her own presence known to the other two.

“But she looks like she’s in trouble” Ohtli cried out, but noticed the change in the other male’s demeanor. She didn’t want to cross him.

“She got into this mess…she can get herself out.”

“That’s no logic.” Ohtli sighed. “You’ve been watching her intently…Like you have feelings for her.”

“A lioness telling a lion their observations is never good. Shouldn’t you be hunting or something.”

“Well…no actually. I’m looking for somewhere.”

“And that somewhere would be…?”

“A new home.”

“Can’t help you.”

“Well then, maybe they could?”

“No.” Why was Fsi talking with this other. She should just leave now. His paw was brought to his head as he rubbed his eyes. “What home are you looking for?”

“Just somewhere to call my own. My friends left me at my other pride…so I was hoping to find them somewhere else?

“Sounds like a personal problem to me…” Fsi muttered, turning his head towards Shahidi and the other male. “If I help you, will you leave?” He couldn’t believe he was going to help a lioness, without anything in return. What had the pink female done to him?!

“Maybe…” Ohtli hummed.

Fsi groaned again. “Look---If you want a home, look for a place called the Pridelands. It won’t be hard to miss. Head south, you’ll find it.”

“That’s it? Here I was hoping for something more…knowledgeable.” Ohtli sighed. Well, at least he had helped her somewhat.

“Look, there are many other rogues who would be much willing to help you. Perhaps, they could be of more assistance. I helped you, now leave.” He stated, tail flicking across with anger rising in his throat. He didn’t want to make a scene, but if the lioness continued the way she did, he would blow his hidden cover in a heartbeat.

Ohtli shook her head. “I’ll leave. If you promise me she won’t get hurt?” She asked. “I can see you care for her…that look in your eyes is the same look I see my friends give each other when they are…” she didn’t want to say in love to the soon-to-be irate lion. She just drifted off, smiling sheepishly at the male.

“I don’t make promises for females…”

“Mhmm…” Ohtli rolled her eyes. “You know, the sooner you admit things, the sooner you will find yourself as much happier. I hope you learn that?” Ohtli stated, humming to herself again as she headed off. Lions were such a strange bout of creature---although she wasn’t the normal of species either. She just hoped the lioness caught in the middle wouldn’t get too hurt if the lion decided to act too late. Ohtli was a lion of her word though, and she didn’t intervene. It wasn’t like she could actually do something…she was a small lioness. The lion would tear her apart in a heartbeat. The only thing she could do, was take in the advice of lion and head for the lands known as the Pridelands.

Fsi was glad when the other left. Females annoyed him greatly, and the words of the other were no different. He didn’t care for Shahidi…he didn’t at all. He just wanted his pet. No one else should touch his property. Why did no one else get this concept.

He shook his head, his attention turned back to Shahidi and the other rogue. This wasn’t going to be pretty.
