Nailiah was confused. Dreadfully confused. She had been home with Athari mulling over her new found feelings for Dark Hellfyre. They had met briefly as she wandered the plains one night and on the very same night he asked for her to become his mate. Strangely enough, he had had two others before her making her his third and how he phrased it, hopefully last. Nailiah had left him to go seek council with her human who had obviously felt the mare's frustrations. "All I can tell you is to follow your heart, my dear one." Athari's voice rang out in her mind comforting yet firm. "You may think it too soon, but the Fates may think the timing just right. You could be this stallion's salvation - or doom. But you must also think of your own happiness. And think hard even if that's not your strong suit." Nailiah remembered getting a little irritated with her Bonded's teasing words, but Athari was right. Nailiah had to follow her heart...
And her heart was guiding her feet to the rolling hills where she and Dark Hellfyre had first met. She wondered if he would be here.A nervous snake had coiled itself within her belly as her steps became a little faster. Had he gone home? If so how could she find him? He said he stayed with the herd that had a lone solitary tree in the middle. And yet her gaze gave her nothing but rolling hills for miles. Had she gone the wrong way? Nailiah stopped for a moment to calm herself and her breathing. Athari had always used meditation...why shouldn't she? The mare closed her eyes and steadied her breathing as her mind reached out to the memories that she and Dark Hellfyre shared. They ran across these hills laughing and chasing each other all the while. They had kept each other warm the night before curling around one another. She had felt...happy and content. She had known a safe place. As childish has Hellfyre was, he seemed as lost as she. Nailiah continued to reach out for him in hopes that he would answer her mental plea.

Ah there she was, Hellfyre was in one of the valleys between some of the steeper hills and could just see Nailiah approaching. Why was she stopping? He must investigate. He plodded up the hill and walked quietly toward her. " Um, what are you doing? Are you too tired to continue?" He tilted his head at her.

The mare jumped slightly, her eyes fluttering open. She hadn't expected to be snuck upon. "Oh no, I'm fine. I was just ca-" The mare turned to face the voice not quite catching the familiar tone. Silver met Red and for a moment Nailiah felt as if the world stopped. Her head tilted a moment, ears perked forward as she attempted to get the words out. "I was just catching my breath." She snorted idly flicking her head to keep her bangs from her eyes. "Wha-what are you doing here, Hellfyre?" She managed to get out still a little surprised that he was here. Had she really called him here, or was this simply too much of a coincidence?

"I was waiting for you of course silly. Here seemed the best place. And it appears I was right as well." He smiled slowly at her. "How went your council with your human?" He asked curiosely, his brother Ion had had a human but neither he or Tide did. Odd creatures them. Hellfyre hadn't really met very many and so had never bonded. Perhaps he would one day.

She snorted glaring at him idly. Now he was just being mean to her. She wagged her nose at him and gave gentle whinny in laughter feeling a little better around him. "Well for once you were right." Nailiah teased giving an obnoxious and playful snort. "Athari is well and it went well..." The mare trailed off as her silver eyes looked down toward his pendant seeing herself in the reflection. "Dark Hellfyre...will this...this make you happy?" She finally asked after what seemed like a long silence looking back up toward him. "You're a stallion, obviously broken by the loss of your mates. You have beautiful children and each are stunning. What if...what if I can't measure up to that? What if...what if I cannot give you children of that high caliber of beauty?" Nailiah was doubting herself again, but she needed to get it all out if they were to become mated officially. Better now than down the line.

"Hah our children will be beautiful, but I am not responsible for the long white sock the lot of them will probably have." He gave a sour face. "But seriously I crave your love, and our children will be loved and beautiful because you will be their mother, your heart is so big."

Nailiah couldn't help but give a small giggle. He seemed so sure of them, but was she really that sure of them herself? Her tail flicked idly as she watched his eyes and his mannerisms. "Hellfyre, you crave my love? Is it simply because you have been alone for so long that you do not know that anyone may come and love you?" Her head tilted with worry and confusion. Nailiah cared for him, yes, but she wasn't exactly sure if she loved him.

"No it feels right with you, more stable. And if its not love yet, I still enjoy your company. Your humor, your wit, your smile. You shine."

Nailiah couldn't help but smile and blush even still at his kind words. Hellfyre seemed so into this that he was giving himself whole-heartedly "Hellfyre...." The mare began. "I simply want us both to be sure. What of your children? Whose to say they would not be happy to your union with one such as I?" She gave a gentle whicker shaking her head a little as she pawed at the ground gently. The white mare cared for him deeply, but was this right for her? Was he right for her?

"Pfft after both sets of parents left them? I think not, the only one who is around more often then not is Skyfyre and he kinda needs a mother figure, hes too...quiet. The others don't often visit, I had one little spitfire go off and turn herself into a freaking vampire and join an evil herd. The others seem to have gone to the 4 winds and followed their feet. So really you have nothing to worry about. As long as you can stand the rest of the family, there are so many but they do mean well, very loving under all the chaotic fluff."
He draped his dark head over her back and rubbed his face on the soft fur. He sighed in contentment. Then he nibbled on her perfect rear end. He wondered if she was ticklish and knew that he would definitly find out soon.

Nailiah gave a sigh. She was scrambling for more questions, but what else was there to ask? She enjoyed Hellfyre's company and the way he swayed her with his reassurances made things all the more better. Her tail flicked to smack at his noise and face playfully as he began to n** at her backside. The stallion was indeed one of youth even if he had gone through so much. "You do realize I'm older than you." It was a cop out, but she had to say something. There was a difference in age between the two, but only because she knew that. It would seem that others would not know unless they asked. Nailiah's neck craned as her silver eyes watched his affections for her. She soon returned them by draping her own neck over his broad, black back nibbling on the spot where his neck and and shoulders met before she suddenly went and bit hard on his own rump. See how he liked it!
