_________APPEARANCE ▪▫ Taking up the appearance of a strange young man to those around him, Soren's appearance perfectly fits the stereotypes of the demon he is set out to be. His skin is pale, almost of an albino color, but barely scratching the border of what it means to be purely white. Along with this decently long white hair, and light red eyes, Soren takes on the full appearance of what it means to be an outcast or strange individual in the society of modern day Japan. Due to his appearance, Soren is barely regarded to portray an Asian-Japanese background, and may at times be confused with a foreigner. As his personality progresses into a comical or laughing state, Soren is known to show a wide sadistic grin with properties that would describe him as a mad man. Because of these very reasons, Soren is troubled by his appearance, which holds an everlasting impact on his personality. With his treatment as an outcast due to his appearance being etched into his mind, Soren displays difficulties with trust or companionship. In a way, his appearance acts as a stick in the mud. His pale white skin, near red eyes, and white hair all result in a lack of pigmentation, from a lesser amount of melanin being formed in his body. This is why Soren is considered to be borderline albino, but not in a way that restricts him from sunlight.
_________PERSONALITY ▪▫ By taking on the personality of a near sadistic individual, Soren is known to ward those around. Someone of his social state and ground would be considered an introvert, when in fact Soren surpasses the peak of what is known to be an extrovert. He may usually be heard speaking in a loud tone, and releasing the thoughts that dwell within his mind without a single cancellation. Because of this reason, he is considered to wield a "big mouth" and be extremely sociable. However, due to this, his social form of speech is not shown from a lack of friends or those who wander around him. As a loner, Soren prefers to stay back and just stare rudely at those who are considered above everyone else. If there was a popularity contest, there was no way that his appearance would be presented at the top of the list. In fact, Soren is shown to hold a noticeable amount of hatred to those who are considered popular in his high school. As a result of lacking allies, he believes his own power and does not demonstrate the skill to trust those around him. Suspicion is one of Soren's greatest attributes, and it is unknown whether he may attempt to relive himself of this doubt. Placing his arrogance aside, Soren is mostly mellow and tends to mind his own business, unless a certain point of interest is placed in front of him. Curiosity killed the cat, and will probably end in his death as well. Pursuing such a form of curiosity keeps Soren's boredom on hold, and it will take quite some time to release him from that path. What he truly strives for through his personality is an emotional treasure, or way of communication. Because of this very reason, Soren ventured into this well known game, known as Sword Art Online, as a Beta Tester, weary of what laid in his path, but excited for those who might accept his true emotions, and not his strange appearance. Arrogance acts as a shell for him, blocking several forms of sanity, but as if it were the shell of an egg, it can be cracked...
_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫ Growing up in Soren's shoes was no Cinderella story, nor was it an excerpt from one of Shakespeare's tragic plays. Even though his family held a peaking middle class home in the suburbs of Tokyo, it held no importance to the events that occurred within his life. It was a quite area, mainly relying on families who held a position of power in the companies that were spread out throughout the city like a plague. Soren was born on the seventh of July, in a simple hospital a few blocks away from his house. His mother, whose name he never once pronounced out of fear, suffered from a cancerous disease and a shortage of melanin, leading Soren to exhibit near albino qualities at birth. Because of this cancerous state, his mother died near his moment of arrival, and his father, a wealthy business man who lacked any protruding personality, lacked the resolve to explain the complete cause of her death. The white haired, light red eyed, and pale skinned baby was given the name that resembled the sky from his frail appearance. This appearance however, could be described as a form of irony to his personality. In his early childhood stage, Soren met these standards, displaying the curiosity and innocence of many toddlers. This was bound to change. Now becoming aware of his disturbing appearance at the age of six, Soren was already set as an outcast in his early elementary school years. The pain in his chest was indescribable to a toddler, and it would only grow worse... Elementary school continued, but Soren only grew mentally stronger because of it. His mind tripled in its outer covering and added a new layering of steel.

Several years passed, and Soren's personality become more aloof with each passing year. He lost the interest and resolve to introduce himself or attempt to make any friends/companions. In a way, this interest still exists, but in a portion of his soul which he restricts himself from releasing. Now venturing into his middle school years, Soren grew into a mature and serious state, keeping average grades, an average place in the classroom, but when it was time to socialize, he would simply lay down his head. Whispers erupted from the classroom every year, but Soren wasn't bothered in the very least at that time. He wasn't a weakling that hid behind a frail covering, nor was he a wimp. People were starving in the world around him, and for him to whine about such a trivial matter would set him aside as someone who didn't deserve the gift of being a man. These thoughts were enforced by his father, who Soren set aside from his life long ago. There was no sense in diving deeper into drama. His supposed father was always off on "business" trips. For all he knew, he might have started another family and set Soren aside as a disturbing child who fed away on his weekly pay check. Somewhere along the horizon, his true calling could be felt, echoing and calling him over. This could only result in confusion. Did he really possess any hobbies or forms of entertaining himself?

At the age of thirteen, Soren was exposed to the world of gaming by a simple advertisement. At first, he had excluded video games from his life because of the gossip that ran around school of nerds. At that moment, those whispers and trails of disgust held no meaning. Now diving into his first MMORPG, Soren's eyes widened at the creation of a new world and point of view within his head. What were these strange pixels that bound together to form a piece of artwork? He was enticed, hooked, and bound by this creation. Three years have passed since Soren has ventured into the world of gaming. He had spent quite a deal of time sharpening his skills, as technology grew. By taking part in many MMORPGs, and vanquishing a majority, Soren was ready to dive into new heights. This was when the invention of the NerveGear was set upon his gaze. This piece of technology was unheard of, and to take the offered position of a beta tester was a simple choice for Soren. Now diving into the world that was known as Sword Art Online, Soren realized the opportunity that he had been given by whatever higher being that ruled the skies. The game's manual, cover, and everything about it caused a chill to run down his spine. Was this actually happening? Staring into a computer all day couldn't possibly compare to distorting the breach between space and time and traveling to a complete form of Eden. He would conquer this game, and maybe then, he would overcome his craving for whatever he was missing in his life.

In the game, his white hair, near red eyes, and pale skin is still shown. His armor changes and varies through. Within the game, Soren displays his usual muscle structure of a six pack. This lack of change is a result of his striving for those to accept him for what he really is. Soren is not fond of hiding begin pixels and tends to have his characters in games fit his appearance. It is a difficult and risky task, but there's no point in concealing his greatness in the game, from his greatness in real life. Soren's armor appearance within the game tends to lean to a furry side. He will usually attempt to wear a jacket, with a fur lining. Steel and heavy armor is not his forte, and he will surely not trade defense for offense anytime soon. This is also true for his weaponry as well. Multiple, and singular lightweight weapons are accustomed to his destructive fighting style, opposite to that of a ranged stealth type.
