Lizzy had arranged for Shun to meet her at her place for two reasons - the first reason was that the tea was at her place, and although Shun might have tea too, the second reason was that she didn't feel like going to the reaper dorms. Besides, it was cold outside, and she figured that Shun would be able to handle the cold much better than she could.
Since she was expecting him, the demoness had gotten everything ready - the pot of green tea, the teacups, the little snacks known as 'mochi' that she had gotten because they looked so adorable on the packaging she knew she had to buy them they called to her.

Shun didn't mind needing to go to Lizzy's. He just put on his coat and made his way to the demon dorms. Though, his pace was still fairly brisk. He didn't want to get too chilled after all. Once he arrived and managed to locate her room, he let out a breath and knocked on the door.
His conversation with Mitsu was still on his mind, and he still wasn't really sure what to do over all. There was also the matter of the mark in his wrist. The thing that potentially was the source of his need for power.
Shifting a little, he just kept his hands in his pockets while waiting for Lizzy to open up.

Hearing the knock on her door, Lizzy took a moment to check the tea before making her way to the door to let whoever was outside - Shun, probably, since she wasn't expecting anyone else - in.
"Hey," She greeted with a smile, holding the door open, "Ready to talk over a cup of tea?" Talk. Not scream, not yell. She would have preferred to talk to Xiu too, mostly because she was worried about the way her friend acted during the attack, but that's something for later.

Not saying anything just yet, Shun nodded to Lizzy as both a sort of greeting and to say that he was ready. He just took in a deep breath, hoping that his anger wouldn't get the better of him. It's been.. testy as of late. To say in the very least.
Walking in slowly, he just looked around for the moment, then made his way over towards the couch and coffee table so he could have a seat.
Once he was settled down, he looked over towards the spider demon, waiting to see what she had to say first.

Lizzy sat down on the other side of the couch, not saying anything yet. Instead, she started pouring out the tea, sliding one of the filled teacups towards Shun, along with a small plate with a single azuki filled mochi on it.
"The tea is slightly bitter, but that makes the sweetness of the mochi stand out that much more," She mused, lapsing into silence for a bit before continuing, "Were you seriously going to break your promise to me that time?"

Waiting for the tea to be poured, Shun soon took his cup and carefully blew at it to help it cool off. He just nodded lightly to Lizzy at first, commenting on the tea. He was fine with bitter tea. Though, he was a little intrigued that she had grabbed some mochi as well. Perhaps he'd give one a try.
Before he could take his first sip, he paused at the demon's question. Frowning lightly, he sighed, then finally spoke up.
"Yes."

"Were you rational when you made that decision?" Lizzy asked, eyeing him as she played with her teacup, spinning it around on the table.

"Let's both agree to let that one go, okay?" Lizzy smiled sheepishly, knowing that none of them were... Quite themselves that day. Tempers flared, and she figured that his thinking had been impaired due to reasons. Besides, she wasn't sure if the anger she felt was from her, or from another source...
"Let's talk about something else," She continued, taking a sip of hot tea, careful not to burn her tongue, "Let's talk about you... It's probably selfish of me to want you to forgive and forget, but how about moving forward?" A brief pause, "Did you talk to Mitsu about what happened...?"

Shun nodded quietly at that. He wasn't entirely himself. It wasn't like him to get lost in such a rage like that. Sure, he was relatively easy to annoy, but to piss him off generally took more effort than it did.
"I have. We spoke about a lot of things when I got back..." he murmured. All the topics were fresh in his head. Especially the one that they had discussed the most. Which, incidentally did involve the future. Their future.
Letting out a sigh, he ran a hand through his hair, then took a sip of tea.
"So what is it you want to say exactly?"'

"Shun, I just want to make sure that you're not going to make another rash decision like that," Lizzy frowned, eyeing the reaper, "When you're in a committed relationship, your decisions stop being your own consequences, because they'll affect someone else inevitably... Ahhh, I really didn't want to sound like I'm nagging at you."
She made a face, staring at her own reflection in the tea.

The Reaper soon let out a sigh at that.
"It's a little later for that," he murmured. Regarding the nagging bit. Shaking his head, he took a careful sip of his tea, leaving the mochi alone in the meantime.
"Mitsu is concerned about what lays ahead. She doesn't exactly approve of the possibility of me returning to the Family for work. I seriously do not know what else I can do, however."

"What will your, uh, father do if you don't return to the Family for work?" Lizzy asked with a frown, "If there's a will, there's a way. You'll find something else... I'm sure of it. But that's only if you really, really want it."

"He could do a number of things. The best scenario is simply that I'm disowned and nothing more. Worse things could happen, though. It may depend on how he's currently feeling," Shun said. Grimacing at her next set of words, he just shook his head.
"I don't even know what I want. As I've told Mitsu, I never had any dreams of what I wanted to be when I grow up. I was pretty much raised for one thing only. I don't think I'm very well suited for much else at this point."

"Oh. Well, disowning is fine... I guess. You still have us!" Lizzy nodded, albeit hesitantly; she knew that Shun did not get along with his father, and he's not exactly the best parent out there... It might not be a bad thing for Shun to escape that? But then again, they're Fear-related father and son... Would it really be that easy to cut off all ties?
"You're not even 20 yet... I mean, you still have a long, long way ahead of you!"
