Eternal Sailor Tsui was on the hunt for an energy signature that she had felt the moment she transformed, and she had been following the signature ever since. Whatever it was, it was pretty quick to have kept away from her for so long, and part of the Senshi of Tigers enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, perhaps more so than the fight afterwards. Tsui felt that she had worked hard to gain her Eternal rank, but that didn't mean that she could simply slack off, nor would she. She was a Senshi of the White Moon Court, and it was her duty to take to the streets and defend Destiny City's citizens, regardless if they wanted protection or not. And that meant to keep track of and investigate all Chaos energy signatures, no matter what the strength may have been or even who it may have been. No rain, no sleet, no hail nor snow would keeping the tiger from her duties, and it seemed that the small snowflakes that danced from the sky were willing to put that notion through a series of tests, as Tsui had almost slipped a few times on the sidewalk. A good thing she opted not to take to the rooftops this time around- a single slip would send her crashing down and there wasn't enough snow left on the ground to cushion her fall. The tiger was closing in on her prey, barely feeling another energy source until she had drawn close to the youma's signature. There was another White Moon senshi here? Perhaps they needed help? Tsui was willing to lend them a hand, or rather, a fist to the enemy's face for them, if need be!

The night air was frigid and flecks of ice floated through the air, but Varuna only felt a slight chill. Whether it was common in senshi like herself, or if her magic kept her from feeling too cold, she didn’t know.
All she knew was that she was on the verge of breaking a sweat as she leapt out of the way of a strike from a strange lizard-like, icy youma.
It was exhilarating, being able to jump like this, being able to run this fast. She didn’t know how it was possible to feel this alive outside of her horse riding. The experience had been terrifying at first, of course. It still was. But the rush of adrenaline and pounding of her heart against her ribcage seemed to give her new meaning to living.
Maybe she was meant to do this. Maybe she was just living her life to make it to this moment.
Varuna, suddenly distracted by the new wave of energy in the vicinity, ducked a little too late as the youma shot out its long tongue that wrapped around her ankle. She on the pavement faster than she could process what was happening.

It was no surprise that Eternal Tsui had found the Chaos youma in the same place as a Order- it seemed that where there was one, the other would be quick to follow, and the Tiger Senshi wasted little time in accessing the situation. One of her fellow Senshi needed assistance, and Tsui was going to give it to her, one way or another. Her plan was simple. Charge in, try to free Varuna from the lizard youma's grip, and then, hopefully, dust it! Introductions could come after the two rid the streets of another monster, Tsui felt- besides, by the stripes on her fuku and the tiger paws that draped her waist, she was certain that the other Senshi could have easily figured out her sphere... "Hang on!" Tsui shouted to the senshi, leaping over the fence and rushing the youma, fists curled and looking to punch it right in the eye in hopes of forcing it to release its grip on Varuna. She was an animal lover, through and through, but perhaps it was a little too easy to strike at this one- what, with all of its scales and alignment to the Negaverse. Though, the way the light glistened off of its icy scales was rather beautiful, if not distracting, and even the Eternal senshi winced as it flicked its head, shifting around and shining some of the bright, reflective light from the Christmas decorations nearby and throwing off her aim. She missed in her punch, but because it had moved, she had at least managed to stomp a foot down on its tongue, and it gave a pained hiss as it scuttled backwards, releasing Varuna and almost causing Tsui to lose her balance when she didn't step off of the tongue long enough. And Tsui, ever the prideful, tried to hide the fact that her little bit of footwork was completely by accident, as she addressed the other Senshi with a confident smile. "You alright? It didn't hurt you too bad, did it?" She gave her a glance over for any outward signs of injury, before turning to look at the youma as it retracted its tongue though looked ready to come crawling forward. Its claws looked sharp and that tail looked like it would sting if it hit, but hopefully they had eliminated one of its primary weapons, Tsui thought. "Don't worry, we'll dust this thing good!"

There was a pain in her hands and shin where she’d done her best to stop her fall, but she didn’t have time to check to see how bad it was as she did her best not to be eaten.
Luckily for her, there seemed to be an eternal senshi in the area, and her first thought went to Kallichore, seeing as she’d met her before. But as she rolled over and pushed herself up, she caught sight of the senshi clothed in black and white...
And once again, she was met with a senshi who had rips and tears all over their clothing. It frightened her. With Kallichore it had just been how she magically looked, but how could she be sure it was the same with this senshi? And did these rips and tears indicate the experience and pain one has gone through to achieve such a level of power?
Varuna moved to push herself up to stand but winced when her leg gave out. She must have hit the ground harder than she’d thought. But there was no time to waste, as the youma was making its way back towards them, its tail swishing dangerously behind it.
“Snow slip!” she called, pushing her hands out as a blanket of snow rolled across the ground towards the youma, pushing it back to give the eternal senshi enough time to get out of the way.
She’d already saved her from its tongue... the least she could do was give her some time to escape.

It was certainly a relief to see that the other Senshi could defend herself and manage to save Tsui from what looked like it would have been a pretty powerful blow, as the Eternal barely dodged the rush of snow that pushed the youma back. With the pile of snow that now covered its face and back, it spared the two Senshi from the reflective lights, and Tsui was all too relieved to have been able to rub her eyes and look back at Varuna. "Nice going there! A whack from that tail looked like it could hurt like hell..." She extended a hand to the other Senshi as she introduced herself, figuring now would be the best time to get introductions in while the youma was struggling to remove itself from the pile of snow it was trapped in. It wouldn't hold it back for long, but Tsui wanted to make sure that the other girl was at least standing by the time it broke free and lunged at them. "The name's Eternal Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers," Tsui said, with a brave and confident smile on her face. Despite her friendliness, she was eager to get back into the fight- this Senshi was new to her and she wanted to get the youma taken care of as quickly as possible so that the two could have a normal conversation uninterrupted. "And you are?" The youma hissed and clawed away at the snow, making it clear that once it did free itself, it was going to turn its wrath upon them.

Tigers...? Varuna stared up at the senshi in wonder, before reaching up to take hold of her hand, allowing her to help get her to her feet. She certainly looked like she could be a tiger. The fur, and tiara, definitely... but the wings made her look like a chimera, and it made Varuna smile lightly in amusement.
“Sailor Varuna,” she said softly, leaning in to place a quick, innocent kiss on Tsui’s cheek in thanks. She looked so happy, so strong and confident that Varuna couldn’t help but absorb some of that confidence for herself. She spun away before Tsui could have some kind of negative reaction, lifting her hands up as she prepared for another attack.
“Senshi of Avalanches,” she smiled in dark irony as she turned to face the youma once more. She was no fighter, but she could at least cause some trouble for these monsters. She did not attack right away, but would wait until Tsui was ready. If she could keep her new fighting partner out of harm’s way of this youma, there should be enough opportunities to get rid of it.

The role of hero was no stranger to Tsui, as it was a role that she rather enjoyed fulfilling when the time arose. She liked to fight, even after her efforts to change herself, and she had no qualms in helping her fellow Senshi and Page allies out if the situation arose. Sometimes she was thanked, other times maybe not, but she never quite received such a physical thanks. Varuna was right to turn away when she did, otherwise she would have seen Tsui's cheeks blush and perhaps confuse her for a tomato. 'Well... that was... interesting.' Tsui tried to keep her surprise to herself, so that she could focus on the youma that was almost completely freed from its temporary, snow prison. The hiss it gave and the fury in its eyes was perfect in pulling Tsui's full attention back to him, and like Varuna, she stood ready to defend herself and her comrade. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Varuna. Now, let's see about dispatching this ice lizard before it tries to gobble us up." That was Tsui talk for 'I'm going to wreck it', and no sooner did it free itself from the snow did Tsui attack. She shouted to Varuna, as she charged the youma head first, preparing to summon her white aura to her hands and strike it down with an attack if it tried launching its disgusting tongue at her. "Hope you're good at punching or kicking- you take the side! I'll draw it's attention!" Given her appearance as well as her charge, the youma obviously felt that Tsui was the bigger threat and thought to defend itself with another shift, allowing the lights to bounce off its scales and trying to blind its assailants. This time, Tsui closed her eyes and went for a blind punch, hoping that her fist connected with a part of the youma and not the ground or the wall behind it.

Varuna nodded towards the tiger senshi in agreement, ready and waiting for this battle to finish with their victory. Tsui seemed to have a plan, and Varuna was only happy to follow. She didn't know much about how these fights worked, but if there was someone more experienced than herself, then why not listen to them?
She darted forward, flanking Tsui's side as they attacked, but even with Tsui's blind punch, she didn't have the angle she needed to finish it.
Doing her best to shield her eyes against the sudden light, Varuna said the name of her attack as she slid low to the ground, aiming directly beneath herself. "Snow slip," she called, using the sudden roll of the snow to propell her farther, faster. And as Tsui launched her attack, Varuna kicked the youma hard in the side, knocking it into Tsui's punch. ChibiGingi We can wrap this up in the next couple posts if you'd like! <33

It was the one-two punch, and though Tsui didn't see Varuna's second use of her attack, she heard her summon it and felt the youma's face connect with her fist, just as Varuna had struck it from the other side. As strong and crafty as the youma was, it was no match for their combined fists, and it managed to give one last hiss before disappearing in a tiny explosion of black dust. Only when it was completely silent again did Tsui open her eyes, and the sight of the dusted youma was better than any Christmas present under the tree. "Phew, we did a good job on that one, Varuna!" Tsui said, looking to her fellow senshi and giving her a friendly pat on the back to let her know that it was safe to open her eyes once more. "Never struck at a youma blindly before, and not going to lie, but I was afraid I'd either hit the wall or you. As awesome as that attack was, I'd rather not go at one with my eyes closed again..." Hitting her own ally wouldn't have settled well with her, given recent events, but it seemed like it was a fear neither one of them would have to worry about. Now that the youma was taken care of, it gave her a chance to get a better look at her ally, as well as get to know her. "Seems like every time I power up, there's a new Senshi or Page for me to meet. Not that it's a bad thing, though. Always good to have a few more allies, though I'm a little worried about you patrolling on your own." She knew it was the pot calling the kettle black, but it was a lesson that Tsui had learned the hard way, and she figured if she had to sit through the lecture, so would Varuna. It was for Varuna's best interest, after all.

The youma burst into a cloud of dust, and all Varuna could do was let out a sigh of relief and lay back into the melting snow, not bothering to get up just yet. She would be the first to admit that she was lucky to have Tsui there to help her with this monster, because if she would have had to destroy it on her own, she would probably be dead meat by this point.
Finally, once the snow from her attack had disappeared, the senshi of Avalanches slowly pushed herself up and rose to her feet. Despite wearing dresses and frilly things, she wasn’t shy about getting dirty. She was an Earth-bound girl at heart.
She offered her savior a warm smile, shaking her head slowly to hopefully ease her concern. “I’ll be okay,” she insisted, brushing her hands together to rid them of the melted snow. “You should learn to look before you leap,” she offered in return, taking a step back to be on her way.
Now that the youma had been killed, there was no real reason for them to hang around any longer. She would get on with her life and Tsui with hers.
“Until next time,” she said softly as she turned to leave, somehow sure that they would cross paths again.

When Varuna lent her some advice of her own, Tsui had to bite down her initial response. She was an Eternal senshi and she felt that she had worked her way up the ranks with some fair amount of success, but she couldn't deny the truth behind Varuna's words. After all, Tsui hardly ever thought before she acted, and that could have costed them their lives if they weren't lucky... So, she swallowed her pride, as bitter was it tasted, and gave the Senshi of Avalanches an approving nod. "Someday that bit of advice will sink in. I can't help it... anytime I see an ally in danger, I must act. I can't stand the thought of losing a single one..." It was a sappy if not typical excuse, but it was the truth for Tsui. When it came to the protecting the lives of her allies and friends, thinking came after acting, and so long as things turned out well at the end, that's all that mattered to the Tiger senshi. The fact that Varuna was going to walk away from this experience alive was enough for Tsui, and she gave the girl a wave of her own, before leaping onto the awning and then to the parapet to disappear from Varuna's sight. "I'm sure we will. Take care of yourself, alright?" Guine Sorry this took so long! Consider it done!
