Lunchtime found Cotton Candy at her old employer's. She frequented the place, even though she now worked as a model for the famous fashion designer, Pepper Song. She had time to kill before her next appointment, and she wanted to "see" some old faces that she missed. That, and she was hungry.
“Oh, I’ll take a double cheeseburger, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, onions; a regular fry; large chocolate shake; and ummm… Oh, I guess that’s it.” Cotton smiled at the waitress as she took the Flaffbat’s order. The waitress walked off, leaving Cotton to herself. Both Tulip and Tillie were busy, so she was by her lonesome. She was a little saddened by it, ever since they’d gotten the modeling gig, her and Tulip hardly got to hang out anymore; their schedules were so different now. She sighed, sending a little soundwave out so she could “see” what was going on around her. She was thankful for her echolocation; she didn’t know what’d she do without it. But, she missed colors. She dreamt in colors, but could no longer truly see them and she missed that.
She slumped down, slouching and putting her head in her hand, gazing into nothingness. They were so busy here today that she couldn’t even really chat it up with any of the employees; just a quick “hello” was all the could manage right now. She wished there was someone here she could talk to.

"Okay and I came this way....and I crossed this street...and..." Cupcake ignored the jostle of people as he made his way along the street, looking things over carefully. It was different now of course, and he grinned some, one hand stuck in his pocket, the other clutching onto his present.
Finally he spied the place he was looking for and grinned. "There it is! I hope she's working..." it had been quite awhile since he'd been here as a Pokemon, and of course now he was a teen. Would she even remember him? He doubted she would, but he had to admit, since becoming a teen, she was all he could think about. He pushed the door open and looked around amazed by how busy it was in here compared to last time.
"Wow. So busy here that even if she's working she won't have time to talk that sucks." he kicked his foot lightly at the floor, scuffing his shoe over the floor with a slight pout. But wait...was that? Could it be...?
He walked through the crowd to that slightly familiar form, and as he drew closer, his long ears flicked, and his tail swayed. He grinned brightly as he came to a stop beside her, it was her it had to be!
"Cotton Candy? Is that you?" oh the hope in those words!

Cotton Candy's earwings flicked out at the sound of her name. "Oh?" She straightened, the voice sounding familiar, but different, changed somehow. She couldn't quite place it. "I-I'm sorry, you-" she cut herself off, now gaining an image of the person standing beside her. "Oh! C-Cupcake? Is that you? Oh, my! How you've grown!" She could feel her cheeks flush as she flailed, trying to get out of the booth to greet the young Eevee properly.
"Oh," she huffed, finally managing to get her rather fancy dress free of the table. She then practically threw herself on Cupcake, giving him a huge hug. "Oh, I haven't seen you in ages!" She chuckled, realizing the ridiculousness of the statement.
She released him and motioned for him to sit across from her. "Oh, hungry? My treat!" Her mood instantly improved and she beamed at the Eevee. "How've you been?

Oh good she remembered him! He grinned some, keeping back a few steps so she could get herself free, and his arms curled around her in a tight hug, and of all things lifted her up off the ground a bit, before setting her back to her feet.
"I was worried you might not remember me, I look quite a bit different than last time." there was a soft pleased laugh from him, and he held out his hand. "I brought this for you. If you give me your hand..."
He had a balloon in hand that he planned on slipping onto her wrist, a smile given. "I am a bit hungry actually, but do you mind if I make it my treat?"

"Oh, I don't forget anyone, but you gave me quite a challenge. You're like me now," she laughed again, "I mean, you're not just a regular Pokemon anymore."
She blinked and sat up from leaning over the table at Cupcake. Her smile blended into a surprised expression. "Oh? A-a gift?" She timidly held out her hand. Not that she didn't trust Cupcake, but she wasn't used to this attention... even if she was a model. Most people fawned over Tulip or the others, rather than her.
She smiled softly as she felt the balloon was slipped on her wrist. It was the sweetest thing. "Thank you," her tone quiet and calm, not like her normally bubbly, rather loud voice. You could tell this little gift really meant a lot to her.
"Oh, I couldn't!" she picked back up at Cupcake's suggestion. "I've ordered quite a bit for myself!" She said the last bit, embarrassed. "Please, let me!" She put her hand on his and and gave a pleading smile.

His voice had deepened as he'd grown, and while he was just as excitable as he was as an Eevee, he was able to sit still a little bit easier. Somewhat. "No, I am definitely not a regular Pokemon anymore, that was quite a surprise when that happened too." he chuckled softly as he waited for her to sit before doing so himself.
"I saw this balloon on the way here, and I wanted to bring you something, but I didn't know if you had any allergies to flowers or if you liked chocolates. I didn't know if you liked stuffed animals...so I thought a balloon was nice." at least he had a good reason for the balloon!
"You're really very welcome Cotton Candy...and alright, this time I will let you pay, but next time, it's on me no matter how much you order." and he grinned as he slide across from her then his hand resting atop hers and squeezing gently.
"I wanted to come back and see you sooner, but Kelsie told me I'd just be in the way here as a child, like I wasn't as a Pokemon but I decided she was probably right, and I waited till the time was right. I haven't looked like this very long now."

"Oh, I bet it was a surprise! I honestly can't remember when I changed, but sometimes I have dreams..." she trailed off, remembering the reoccurring dream she'd been having where she was a little Mareep in a field. She often wondered if it was just a dream, or a forgotten memory.
She was rather distracted by her thoughts until Cupcake gave her hand a squeeze, returning her attention back to him. "Oh? In the way?" she tilted her head to the side, not really understanding why he'd be in the way. Cotton Candy didn't have much experience when it came to children, so she really was lost.
"Oh, um, you probably don't know, since you haven't been here in a while. I actually don't work here anymore." She smiled softly, "looking" at Cupcake's echoed image. "I'm a model now. I mean, I actually fulfilled my dream!" The happiness in her voice was unmistakable, yet it was also laced with surprise. She hadn't thought she'd actually had a chance to become a model, but she never let it stop her. She'd tried several agencies, all while working at this restaurant. Who knew that it would've taken a somewhat-bossy Ivysaur to get them both in the business. And not only were they modeling, but they were modeling for Pepper Song, one of THE most famous fashion designers out there!

"I think she was more surprised to have a naked little boy in her house, than anything to begin with. Didn't help she didn't have clothes for me, I had to borrow some of hers, before I could get some boy clothes." thank goodness for Eilam!
"Well I guess I was even more curious when I was a child, than I was as jsut an Eevee." he chuckled softly, tail swishing a little. "Though I think sometimes I'm still in the way...the tail and all." a teasing tone to his voice as he spoke. It didn't bother him, he'd grown rather used to it in the end.
"You don't? Oh wow...well lucky me finding you here today then. I didn't think about you not possibly working here anymore." yep, it had surprised him to find out she didn't work here now. But oh the bright smile he gave at her talking about what she did do now. "A model? Really? That's fantastic!" he knew about all of that stuff now, he'd learned a lot since his changes.
"Sounds like while we're here together, I need to find out another way to get in touch with you, so I know how and when to find you. I'd really like to take you out sometime." his fingers brushed softly over her hand as he spoke, a gentle smile on his lips. This was why he'd come here after all. Ever since he'd grown to a teen he couldn't get her off his mind.

Cotton giggled at the mention of Cupcake as a little naked boy. She imagined he ran around the house, refusing to put clothes on.
"Oh! Totally!" the Flaffbat reached into her dress, pulling a cell phone from one side of her chest. It was the only spot she had to carry anything, as she didn't have a purse; the agency told her it didn't go with this outfit. "What's your number?" She smiled, eager to have someone to hang out with. The notion of Cupcake wanting to date her was currently lost.

"The biggest thing I had to learn was that while a Pokemon can do their business outside...humans do not. I hadn't ever paid attention! I mortified Kelsie by doing that though." he laughed with a light blush, but he was over the deep shame he'd felt. He had learned from it.
He rummaged in his pocket and pulled out the phone Kelsie had gotten him, and found his number, giving it to her as well, waiting for hers in return. Aside from Kelsie, and Kelsie's sister...there wasn't anyone else in it. So this would be nice.
"I'm sure you're really busy with modeling stuff...but if you're ever free, you can call whenever and we can hang out, and go do something...."

"Oh myyyyyy!" she giggled, covering her mouth at his story.
She felt the keys on the phone and put his number in. "Oh, I'm really not that busy... I mean, you'd be surprised how much free time I have. Like, right now." She smiled and put her phone back.
The waitress finally came back, placing Cotton's shake in front of her along with a water for each of them. "And what would you like, sir?"

He gave a sheepish laugh at her reaction, grinning however as he entered her number into his phone with a brighter look.
"After a talk with Eilam who explained things to me...and gave me some of his old clothes so I wasn't wearing too small girl clothes, things got better. I focused more on training, and I do that daily." which made him happy.
"So, now back to you. What sort of modeling do you do? Fashion is my wild guess, because you are absolutely beautiful, and anything you wear would instantly look perfect on you." this was not insincere flattery, oh no. He meant exactly what he said.
He was startled by the waitress and looked up, ordering himself a cheeseburger and fries sticking with the water, and turning back to her.
"I have tickets to a concert to see that new group Haunter's Curse...and well I was wondering...if you weren't busy with anything else that night, if maybe you'd want to be my date...?"

The waitress nodded, taking his order and retreating back to the kitchen to place his order.
"Oh? Eilam? I don't know who that is. Is he famous?" Her cluelessness was kind of cute, but someday it may get her into trouble.
Cotton giggled and blushed at Cupcake's comment. "Oh, you're terrible!" She playfully slapped at him, missing him by a mile. "But, I am a fashion model."
"OH! Haunter's Curse?!" She nearly yelled. "I've heard they're awesome! I'd love to go to the concert with you!" Her tail wagged happily. She didn't seem to fully grasp what he was asking of her.
The waitress returned, placing the water in front of Cupcake, gave him a wink, then walked off. At least she could tell what was going on.

"Well...kinda actually. Eilam's sorta like an older brother of sorts. Kelsie's sister has him. He's an Arceus. Well was. He's all grown now, and like us." it was the best way he could describe Eilam, honestly.
"So see, as I said, it all looks good on you." he was smiling as he spoke, and moved his hand more in her range so if she tried to smack him again she'd actually connect. He couldn't help the grin at her blush, she was so cute!
Cupcake gave the waitress a grin at her reaction, and there was a pleased thanks at his food. But Cotton's reaction to the band, was by far the best part of it all so far. So he couldn't help reaching out and snagging her hand lightly in his, and he kissed the back of her hand. "Good, it's a date! I'll be sure to make all the necessary arrangements to pick you up and get us there." and of course her back home, that was a given.

"Oh, Arceus?" It sounded familiar to Cotton, but she couldn't place where she'd heard about that Pokemon before. Sometimes she was airy to a fault, not even recognizing the name of THE Legendary Pokemon.
"Oh, um, a date? Did you say a date?" She just now realized what he was asking. She got silent all of a sudden and stared at Cupcake.
