Wow. It's been YEARS since that's happened. And it was one of the guild threads, no less.
Makes me nostalgic for old-Gaia...

I got one of those today too! I still get them periodically.
I don't remember when I joined. Don't much care. I do remember there wasn't all of the advertising and such that there is now. No quickbar thing at the bottom of the screen. The banner at the top was different. ::shrugs:: It matters not, as long as the guild remains >^.^<

Very nostalgic indeed! I too still get one once in a while and I believe it is more often than in the past. ^.^
I agree with Cheshiyre; the website seems to have been gaining in ads, though the development team has been doing a good job in improving here and there. Especially with the items you can now obtain.
I registered in 2004 xD I'm an oldie.

i started in 2OO7 on my very first gaia, but i have switched to a plethora of accounts. o:

i feel like a novice, this gaia is barely 5 months old.

I joined for the first time around 2005, but my account got hacked about 2 years in so I gave up instead of restarting. Rejoined with this account about 3 days ago. I'm surprised this site is still so active. Makes me happy.
