His skin is pale as he doesn't go out in the sun much other than for going to school and when hanging around with his friends. He is of average height and is underweight despite not going out much. He spends most of his time at home playing video games or watching the latest episodes of his favorite shows. When he is outside he typically wears headphones which he never takes off when around other people. Whenever a person looks at him he always has a straight face and tends to force a smile out in order to not look so gloomy towards other people
_________PERSONALITY ▪▫ Nicholas is a quiet and secluded person but he is very kind as well. He always seems to be able to keep a straight face no matter what happens and only changes it when he feels like it. He prefers to be at home by himself rather than hanging out with his friends though when he is invited he usually just accepts. When around friends he stays quiet unless he is called upon to talk. In school he stays quiet in class and just listens. He never answers any questions unless he is asked to answer it. He is the last person you would see volunteering to anything. He always get average grades but the teachers say if he tried he could get much better grades. He prefers to stay out of other peoples problems since he doesn't want it to become his own. In reality though he really wants to talk to people but he is just too shy to do so and he is also afraid that what he says may affect what people think of him in a negative way.
_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫ Nicholas was born from an English Mother and a Maltese Father in the small country of Malta. At the age of two they all moved to London, England. His father being busy with work left his mother to take care of him. He was the youngest of a family four. He has an elder brother who was two years older than him, an elder sister who was a year older than him and a twin sister. He was talkative as a child and had many friends though that all changed during his primary school days. One day while at school he said something which unintentionally made one of his classmates feel insulted. He was then bullied by that classmate and all his friends before his elder brother and sister who were respectively a year or two above him and his twin sister intervened. This though caused him to become secluded and quiet as to not to provoke anymore chances of an event like that happening again. Keeping his kind personality though allowed him to still make friends in future years though in the end all his friends were the ones who had chatted to him first rather than waiting for him to talk to them first. He did though play sports and preferred to play racquet sports such as badminton or tennis or even ping-pong otherwise known as table tennis.

As the days passed one of his friends introduced him to video games. He became obsessed with video games because of the lack of a physical presence of another person. As the years grew by he ended up getting more and more addicted to video games. In his late teen years as he took the International Baccalaureate he ended up only going out at all other than the occasional get together with his friends when he was invited, when in search for the latest games and when playing racquet sports though at a lesser rate. At home he was focused more on on playing games while studying enough just to pass the tests and quizzes that were given for the IB.

One day as he was looking through a store he listened in to a conversation being led by two people. The two of them were Japanese students who had come to England for a school trip. He overheard them talking about a new upcoming game called Sword Art Online and how it used the NerveGear to allow players to play in a virtual reality world where they would control their characters as if it were their own body. Interested he asked his parents and after a while of convincing with some help from his elder brother who was now in university and his sisters who were also both in the IB Program they agreed. A while later he received the NerveGear and set it up. Quickly applying to be a Beta Tester for the game he waited patiently while playing older games that used the NerveGear in order to get used to it. One day he received notice that he had been accepted to be a Beta Tester and this made him happy since there was a huge chance that he wouldn't have been accepted. This was the beginning of his adventure in this unique new world where he felt like he could change himself from being the quiet person he was

He always has a horizontal adhesive tape on the upper part of his nose and a vertical one on the lower left part of his face. In combat he tends to wear a hood-less cloak covering a black coat with a hood that reaches up to his waist and a white shirt as he has a dislike for heavy armor preferring speed and maneuverability over defense. When outside of combat he tends to remove the cloak but keeps the coat on.
