_________APPEARANCE ▪▫ Blond hair, blue eyes and facial qualities which are not of Asian descent, Aoi Lagunov is a boy, thirteen years of age, who is just beginning to go through puberty. He is still short, and is lacking the growth spurt that young boys usually get at this age. He has short, slightly curled hair, trimmed so that it grows neatly in length. His eyes are of a natural ocean blue, a particular blue which is difficult to come by. He is not a pure-blooded Japanese, and is of Japanese-European descent; possessing mostly foreign paternal traits on the exterior. He has not developed much physicality, since his body retains that of a growing boy, still, but he is somehow lean, than slender. He is bespectacled, although, occasionally, he wears contact lenses and at times, ones which are of a different color, creating the image of heterochromia. About him runs the aura of an elite, but from afar, one could see him as a lonely boy who is more or less clueless of the harsh realities of life. Often times he is seen wearing a school boy uniform; white buttoned top and a black vest, ribbon tied around the collar to fasten it to a close, black shorts that expose the knees, and nearly knee high socks, matching a pair of black leather shoes tied with laces. Sometimes this is partnered with a navy blue coat, which by the left chest, is a patch of the family emblem. On cold days, he wears brown leather boots for the snow, and a striped white and blue wool scarf for heat and comfort. Here is another image.
_________PERSONALITY ▪▫ As far as first impressions go, Aoi seems to act in a manner that is a little mature for his age. Stereotype would dictate that thirteen year old boys would be growing fond of outdoor sports and activities, but he prefers to remain indoors, working on puzzles and solving problems instead. Sometimes, he seems too stern and antisocial, which is why it might be a little difficult to get to know him. He is often quiet and reserved. He is strict and disciplined, and demands order at times, but he does so in a childish fashion. As a child, he is bound to show some adolescent or pre-adolescent behavior, acting and/or being a little bit rebelious. Nevertheless, he seems to also posses a degree of level-headedness, and almost all of the time, is civil and calm. He might come out as a jolly, carefree kid, but he is almost never too careless. Behind the facade of immaturity is a careful person. He is an individual who lacks experience and is supposed to have a great fear of the unknown. This, however, does not stop him from moving on. He is strong-willed, and for a child of a seemingly sensitive demeanor, he can be very persistent. He knows the meaning of hard work. He is very diligent and persevering.
_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫ Aoi is the youngest of three children who belong to wealthy family in Tokyo, Japan. Being more than just financially stable, he is able to enjoy luxuries in life that most people cannot afford. He was accepted in one of Tokyo's more exclusive private schools. Unlike other kids, he is well funded and well taken care of by his family. In spite of all the material things which surround him, he lacks true friends; the usual dilemma of a rich boy going to a good school while knowing so little about the world around him.
He engages himself in sports however. As a son, and the only son in the family, he was required to train under various forms of martial arts, particularly, Karate and Kendo. To build his strength and endurance, he also engages in swimming and free running, which includes gymnastics. He has been exposed to various forms of art, which, sadly, has not had any use at all in his normal life as a student. This was all in preparation for him to carry the family business in the future. Aoi was the typical rich boy whose problems were mostly of the third world.
As one of the benefits of the upper class, he was accepted as a beta tester for a game called SAO, along with his two other older sisters. To fund further game development, Aoi's family acted as a sponsor for the corporation who came up with the game. As compensation for their financial assistance, Aoi and his two other siblings were included in the B.T.(Beta Test) Program since day one of testing. However, his identity as a Beta Tester was supposed to be kept a secret, similar to all of the other Beta Testers. Upon the completion of the game and its release, free of bugs, he found himself logging into the game, not as a beta tester, but this time, as a regular player. The incident at the beginning of the game caused him to lose two of his older siblings. Being the only one left alive, he had to become strong and fight for survival. That is, to finish the game, he was ready to do whatever it takes.

_________APPEARANCE ▪▫ Caeruleus appears as a boy who is taller than Aoi by 2 or so inches, standing at 5'.5", which is still relatively small. Caeruleus seems to be leaner in overall physique. His hair is straight and more of a platinum blonde, a lighter hue of blond which is nearly silver; somewhere in between silver and gold. The avatar retains Aoi's ocean blue eyes. Caeruleus appears to be a futuristic version of what Aoi could look like after 2 or so years. Caruleus' skin is fairly more pale than his real life counterpart. His body is equipped with light armor, providing ample defense and mobility, and oftentimes, appears to be wearing a velvetine fur coat in black and a darker gray, combat boots and leggings both in black, which brings about great contrast to his pale white skin and hair.
