The Knight of Earth was tense, but that was becoming almost normal at this point in his life. He was always tense: there was so much to fret about, and he did not let himself relax too often.
He had no time for that.
Camelot was worried about his budding family. His wife was a couple months along, and he was beginning to fret more and more. He had no idea how bad he was going to get when she got to the later terms, if he was already a ball of nervous energy.
And he was going to drive her crazy, doting on her.
He was worried about the state of the war, the alarming number of Order members being corrupted. He was worried for his friends, and the senshi he had pledged to aid. He was patrolling every night, trying to find a way to counter the power of corruption, seeking information and spreading the word about purification. It was an uphill battle, though.
He needed to take it easier, but even work was not allowing him much time to relax. The library was open 24 hours for finals, and he was there most of the time. Even when he was away from it, he had to patrol. Or sleep, but that was on the bottom of the list.
For tonight, he was sitting atop the library, looking sleepy and trying not to fall to sleep.

Minkowski didn't normally head out this way when patrolling. Then again, she didn't exactly have any set routine as to where she went, just whatever seemed like the safest route in the event of trouble. The senshi of butterflies felt a little better about patrolling after talking with Zia, but while she was of use to others with her healing abilities, she wouldn't be of much use to anyone if she ran into a powerful youma, or something like that. With finals looming ahead, tonight was supposed to be a short patrol. Minkowski wanted to get a good grade, to make her parents proud, since they had moved here for her sake, after all. She aimed to be out for a few hours, before returning home to get a little bit of studying in before bed, in case her parents woke up and found her missing. It was near the end of her patrolling that Minkowski found herself near the library, and it was also then that she sensed the presence of someone nearby... if up on the library roof counted as 'nearby'. Heights made Minkowski uneasy sometimes. Craning her neck to look upwards, Minkowski caught sight of of an unfamiliar face, and, uncertain if it was alright to do so, hesitantly called out. "Excuse me...?"

Camelot looked down when he heard someone calling to him, though he had felt the aura approaching from a short distance. He was not worried since it had been an aura of order, and those instinctively brought a feeling of trust to his mind.
He smiled at the senshi he spotted below.
"Just a second!" He called. He imagined he would do better to greet her and speak to her if he was a bit closer. The library was tall enough to make shouting uncomfortable, even in the still quiet of the night. He opted to jump off the roof, which was not as scary as it had once seemed. It was a fall, and more importantly landing, that he was very familiar with now.
He landed heavily, his armor ringing, but he rose without trouble and did not look like he had heart himself. His cape curled around him but settled once he was standing and still.
"Hello," he said jovially, "my name is Camelot, Knight of Earth. Do you need some help?"

Knight of... Earth? Now there was a title Minkowski had yet to be familiar with. Just what was a Knight in comparision to a senshi, anyway? She should probably ask. "Oh, ah, it's nice to meet you, Camelot," Minkowski finally replied, after realizing she hadn't spoken up yet, "I'm Sailor Minkowski, senshi of butterflies." She paused, trying to think. She didn't exactly need help per say, except maybe with learning to fight youma, but maybe he could answer a few of her questions, at the very least...? "Well..." Minkowski faltered slightly, afraid of sounding dumb, "Could you possibly... tell me what a Knight is? You're the first one I met." That still sounded dumb, didn't it? Oh well, at least she tried.

Camelot smiled, something sweet in the idea of a Senshi of Butterflies. It was such a gentle sounding sphere, and he knew better than to judge someone based on their sphere alone but he felt like it must have fit her somehow. It was just a vibe that he got.
"Oh, that I can do. There are many senshi who did not know of us, and we haven't been around... that long, comparatively. So I don't blame you for not knowing what a Knight is. Many don't."
He smiled reassuringly.
"Well, Knights are a team under the White Moon, serving on the side of Order. We fight alongside senshi, and protect the civilian lives that are often caught in the middle of these battles. I wish to stop Chaos itself, and find peace between all the factions. A bit of a broad goal, but it keeps me busy." He mused, rubbing his chin, then chuckled.

"Oh, I see," Minkowski replied, listening to Camelot's explanation, "I'm happy to know that there's other people besides us that want to keep the peace." Not that she didn't wonder at times, but it was nice to hear that there were others beside the senshi that were on their side. "I think that's a good goal to have, though; I hope everyone can find peace one day, too," she continued, nodding.

Camelot smiled and nodded his head. He knew that there would be fighting until there were no fighters left, if they let the war keep going as it was now. He felt the Knights needed to make their stand, to aid the senshi and the rest of the world to rise above the violence and horrors of the fighting they were all trapped in.
But he supposed it would be a gradual process. Everyone fought for their own reasons. Or didn't fight, as the case might be.
"Well, do you have any other questions? Or shall I serve you in any way?" He tilted his head at her, looking honestly interested. If she asked him to patrol with her, he would. Or, conversely, if she asked him to leave he would do that as well.
He was at her command, of course. Knights, at least Knights named Camelot, were meant to serve.

"Well..." Minkowski began, and paused. Did she have anything else to ask? There was plenty of things she wanted to know, but she didn't want to tie up anyone's time with lengthy explanations or anything like that. "Actually... if it's not too much trouble, do you think you could patrol with me?" she asked, thinking of something; questions could be asked along the way. "At least for a little bit- if it's okay with you," Minkowski quickly added, not wanting to burden the Knight too terribly. She was uncomfortable with patrolling alone, but it wasn't anyone's problem except hers.

"I would not mind that at all," he said with a smile. He was always more than glad to patrol with others, and help them as much as he could. Sometimes it was a benefit, having two people on one patrol: sometimes youma or agents of chaos could be unpredictable.
It was just safer.
"I was on patrol, anyway, and we might as well stick together. It's easier to explain things when we're in motion, don't you think? And if a youma happens across our path, we'll be able to show each other just what we can do directly."
He smiled and nodded his head, chuckling.
Plus he could probably avoid embarrassing himself long enough to regain some pride and restore his status... with himself. Right now he was not feeling too cool.
