Everyone goes through this - it's normal to ebb and flow with one's practice. I tend to run widdershins with cycles - when the Sun's journey is on the higher end of the cycle, I am laying low. As it gets colder and darker, I feel more active and connected to the world. I seem to run best from Lughnassadh to Imbolc.
You don't have to start over. You will likely have to make some offerings and and reestablish a connection - but they will remember you. Gods themselves are subject to these cycles, the same as us, and they understand.
Hmmm. I suppose that makes sense. I am just trying to see what I can do to begin again. I may just go into my Forest, near my house, and surround myself with the Element I am closest to, to begin with.
