Taking a stroll around the city was relaxing for some trolls— but for others, it was a living hell. Especially when some random trolls scare the ever-loving crap out of you.

Walking through the dirty streets on a busy day in New Hemisect was nothing new for Forera Serpen— but she acted as if it was. A small grin stretched across her face like a sharks malicious smile, her eager eyes observing everything. She tugged the rag on her arm lightly, a habit she had picked up after getting accustomed to using it as an actual accessory. It felt comfortable, reassuring. Like something was always there. Serpentmom hung from her neck, somewhat tired from all the walking she had been doing around NHC.

After walking for a few minutes, Forera stopped next to the central park, behind a few kid low bloods in a pack, walking quickly and trying not to attract attention. Curiosity struck her like lightning. Forera grinned, creeping up behind them and blurting out— "What'a nice night!" — Having immediately grabbed their attention. They froze, and one turned toward her, a shocked expression on their face. She turned to the group with a friendly smile, and a light, comfortable giggle escaped her lips. "Don'tcha agree?" Serpentmom's tongue flickered in and out of her mouth, a small hiss leaving her mouth.

They stared at her strangely, making her friendly smile grow larger in an effort to try to get them to like her better. An orangeblood mumbled something in a low voice, making her head move toward him to try and hear him better. "Huh? What? I didn't hear ya," Forera asked, a small, inquisitive grin on her face. "I... guess?" He repeated softly, inching away from her.

Forera tapped her chin and giggled again. Aw man, they looked so uncomfortable! Hmm... She walked next to the group, then looked them over. "Where ya headed?" She asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. She loved to know what other trolls did, to see how they reacted to her friendly efforts and how quickly they either ran from her or grew to like her. Usually trolls ignored her, but thankfully she had used the element of surprise, shocking them out of their wits and making them stop!!

A greenblood in the group looked at her, then to the others, and said—"None of your business." Forera pursed her lips. "Well EXUUUSE me! I was just ASKING cause you guys are all... sneaky, and stuff." She blinked and puffed her cheeks. They stared at each other in silence, each second ticking by making her more and more anxious and frustrated. Within a minute, Forera couldn't take it anymore. "Man, you guys are bo-RING!" She huffed, and stomped away, obviously ticked off as the group scuttled away quickly. What a waste of her time!! Whatever, they were probably being prudes because they didn't have anything interesting to do. Hmph!!

Usually it was interesting— how were the trolls like? Were they big and mean, putting up a big front to make it seem as if they were amazing, but actually really sad and quiet inside? Small and quiet, but had a huuuuuuge backbone? These things— they were interesting they made her want to know more! Except these kids, urgh! Meanies! Whatever, there were more trolls on the street. Wouldn't be hard to find one that was interesting!

TAG sorry this is so short omfg

Walking through the dirty streets on any occasional in New Hemisect was nothing new for certain other trolls either— but it wasn't as if they necessarily enjoyed it. The nighttime air had a certain city quality that was different from all the other places the little girl had been; it was warm and heavy and dirty, but at least it was familiar and that was all that mattered to the skittish blueblooded troll. She'd come to enjoy it, if only because of the pleasant recognition that it instilled; it came to be like a friend that would listen when she was torn up about whatever unfortunate mayhem that she would get herself into. Sarcel took a deep breath; the city accepted anyone and everyone, even when others rejected each other.

And she appreciated that. The blueblood wasn't paying any particular attention to specific others; she was always alert of her surroundings, yes, but she never stopped to pick out finer details. She had her own thing to do, and so did they, and it was better if two forces did not meet under usual circumstances; although, it wasn't as if she had much to do anyway. It wasn't that she was absent from purpose, but it was better to not to intervene.

Of course, she'd been forced into certain situations before, and she'd grown accustomed to avoid them at all possible; she'd learned the back alleys and all the nooks and crannies of the city so she could traverse without problems— and without confidence— to complete any task that was at hand. As a child again, she faced that familiar urge, but she had to be stronger now! She was a blueblood and she had to act like it (Sir's gruff bark echoing in her small head); she found a certain amount of (guilty) assurance in the fact she could meld with the world and create a veil that made her invisible to just about all and everyone. She wasn't about to traverse the world as an unseen entity, but the thought was always there; a security blanket of sorts that would keep her calm if she had to run and hide, because now she could run and hide whenever she wanted.

But she fought the idea down. Still, it helped her to actually wander in the public of others. As a child again, it was easy to hide away anyway, being that she was so tiny and small and without a lusus because she knew how to handle herself. It was awkward to walk without her gun by her side (something she'd grown used too from her time with the army), but the kick from the sawed-off shotgun proved too much for her youthful body. She felt defenseless, but... she could still handle herself. She'd make herself. She'd make herself handle it and show Sir that she was competent all on her own!

All on her own...

"Man, you guys are bo-RING!"

Sarcel's eyes drifted in the direction of the outburst, finding a tealblood and a group of lowbloods. She worse a curious expression, watching from the sidelines as the group quickly scattered and the tealblood went on her way, wondering just what had happened; it was confusing, now, wondering if the kids she saw were really kids or if they were like her, shrunken down in an awkward situation. Her heart thrummed, but she didn't dare to try to approach any of them. No, she was minding her own business, like she had been doing moments before, never mind the uncertain fear creeping back up her spine as she quickly hurried along as if she'd never seen them at all.

A few seconds after the group dispersed and Forera's irritation passed, she tried to focus on a new target— if she could find one that looked even as remotely interesting as the group from before. So far, they were all boring teens whispering among themselves and staring at her after her loud, attention-catching yell. Her eyes drooped slightly, just a tad bit sad, but they instantly brightened up again. Who needs them, eh? They were just mean people. She didn't need them, with their huge noses and stupid big heads.

A rapid fast movement dashed out of the corner of her eye. What was that? Some kind'a terror-beast built for speed??

But no. Forera realized soon after that those were the sounds of light steps— the sounds of a kid rushing away from the scene that just occurred.

It was plain to see the little troll was a blueblood, for her hair and her shoes were blue! Forera grinned, her eyes gleaming in the dark, moonlit streets. They could be hair...colored.... buddies(or something like that)!! In hopes that she'd stop, the tealblood called out— "Hey! Troll with the checkered blue shoes!!" And in case she didn't hear her: "Uuuh.... BUTTERFLY SHOES!! Wait up!!"

Ooh how exciting!!
This time she WOULD meet them properly and they WOULD be her friend, even if she had to fight them or attack them or anything!! She felt like a terror-beast running after it's prey, she felt... Great!! But wow, this troll sure could run! It was as if they had a... need for speed. EhehehehAHAHAHAHA god she just cracked herself up sometimes.
