Bruin gazed evenly at his brother. The fire on his flanks crackled and snapped, betraying his nervousness and excitement. He looked back over his own back, over towards the glen where his family lay. It was not the place he had been born, nor the place where his siblings had been kidnapped. It was where his father and mother took him and Nascien afterwards. It was the land of his Grandsire, Jaromir, and his Granddam, Michiko. It was where their family had lived for generations, and it was where he and his brother would return. Hopefully with their sister Niniane and their brother Aduro. His Grandsire, Ruin, would not prevail any longer.

"I am ready, Brother." He replied smoothly, his deep rumbly voice reminiscent of the coals of a fire. It was the same voice his grandsire Ruin had had when he was younger.

Bruin grinned at his brother and let his voice join Nascien's slightly higher in a soft harmony. "We shall set off at night, to the sand and the sun. Keeping our heads high and let our spirits run." He grinned devilishly. They hadn't told their parents or Uncle that they were leaving, but he figured they would assume where they went. Besides. This way their father couldn't stop them.

"Our fire shall light the way." He said in a softer tone, his green eyes glowing like small embers.

Ruin waited, burning holes into the ground beneath him. Aduro and Niniane were late for their lesson. He let out a low growl. They were probably off fooling around with Sauron, as usual. They had been doing so since the pest had wandered into Ruin's cave home when the two grandkids had first moved here, and unfortunately, Niniane had developed a small... thing for Ruin's apprentice.

Ruin had, of course, done everything he could to squash it. Going as far as to warn Sauron off himself. But no matter what Ruin did, Niniane persisted in trying to be around the male as much as possible.

"Yes Shi, this is Bruin. Bruin this is Shi, he may have information that can help us find Niniane and Aduro." Nascien hoped he did, it would be helpful having some intelligence on their side.

"Eating bugs?" Nascien said, then laughed.

Niniane was running late. She had gone out for a run with Sauron before their training and ran a lot longer than she was anticipating. Grandfather would not be pleased. Nina ran as fast as she could to where she was supposed to meet her Grandfather for training. When she got there, she saw that her grandfather didn't look happy at all. "I'm sorry I'm late Grandfather." She said with no more explanation than that.

Ruin arched an eyebrow, his heavy coal eyes boring into her, not even bothering to hide his frustration and anger with her. "Lets not make this a habit shall we?" He ground out, his voice crackling like the flame within him.
