It was not the first time that Nicolae phoned Alexandre, and he was sure it wouldn’t be the last either. The blonde was still immensely frustrated at how things were progressing, and exceedingly irked that his girlfriend…or whatever she was, was still stronger than him! It wasn’t right, it wasn’t fair.

He was older, he was…well. He was a better cook! She shouldn’t have more power than him…it just…wasn’t how things were supposed to work.

Mariposite paced around the park, waiting for Benitoite to show up and have a conversation with him. Honestly, he was just pissed off. It wasn’t an emotion he really enjoyed feeling but…but sometimes you just had to feel annoyed in order to get something done.

The lieutenant moved his ribbon baton making it give a small snap as the ribbon met the air. Damnit. He really wished that Beni would hurry up! “Come on. I really would love to talk to you, Benitoite. What’s taking you so long?” The shout wasn’t meant to be heard, but hey. If it was heard…then at least it worked, right?

If Mariposite thought age dictated power, or should have some play in it, he was dead wrong. Alexandre was younger than his recruit as well, and the Lieutenant knew it as well.

Really it wasn't his fault he was running late. He'd gotten home from work late, the nursery was selling poinsettias, wreaths, and Christmas trees at this time of the year and he'd been rather busy. Actually as he headed toward the park, entering past the gates, he sniffed at himself. Yup, he smelled like pine. At least it was a smell he liked. But he really didn't want it clinging to him like it was...he'd smell like a walking Christmas tree.

Hearing the shout as he drew closer, powered down at the moment, he spoke up for the other to hear him. "I do apologize. I had a late evening at work. Actually I asked to get off early even. Holiday season and such." He spoke as he came into view and spied the other. Powering up as he drew closer to the other.

Mariposite wasn’t going to lie, he jumped nearly half a foot in the air at upon hearing Alexandre’s voice, then feeling the presence of Benitoite right after. Well, sure…he had hoped that the guy would show up soon…but now he seemed as though he was a completely impatient p***k…which wasn’t a good thing to see, especially to someone who was your commanding officer and was a hell of a lot stronger than you could ever hope to be.

“Ah. Benitoite! Long time no see! Yeah, uh. I was just…shouting to the uh…wind or something….” He broke off, looking rather embarrassed, but then just cleared his throat. “I want you to help me get stronger. See, I kind of got this girlfriend, and she just became a Super senshi—she’s one of the uh. Dark Mirrors. That’s kosher, right? I assumed it’s kosher to date one of them. She’s awful sweet…but anyway. Yeah. She became a super, so here I am floundering around and she’s this dainty ditsy adorable girl who’s stronger than me.”

He waved an arm in the air, hoping it showed his frustration, then just sighed. “But…yeah. How did you get so strong, Beni? Help me.”
PostPosted: Fri Dec 21, 2012 9:11 pm

Chuckling he shook his head. "Of course you were, I apologize. Do go back to talking to the wind if it's more interesting than I." Waving his hand in a simple 'go on' gesture. Though there was that teasing note to his voice which took any seriousness out of his comment.

"A dark mirror...and super, but only just." Tapping his foot as he stood thinking he tilted his head a bit before leveling the other with slate eyes. "Which senshi is it? I likely know her...and congratulations on the relationship." Nodding his head as he spoke, approaching the other he stopped right in front of him. "It's alright. Another agent, a dark mirror senshi - though some may not like it due to the past with the leader of the faction - and corrupted senshi. Anyone on our side. Civilians...that's something I'm torn over. In the beginning I was against it, the secrets and the risk of them finding out or getting caught up in things." Someone finding out who you, as an agent, were dating. It wasn't a risk he liked the idea of, hadn't in the beginning either. "I did give in however but that didn't last. I'm going back to the idea of dating only those on our side of this war. It's easier." Not that the war, and his part in it, had at all influenced the break up. But at least there would be common ground and understanding.

Laughing he used a gloved hand to cover up his laughter. Slate eyes danced in merriment at the others hand waving, frustrated, ranting. "It's not easy. Training, fighting senshi and knights. You need experience, and not just training against other agents, I think it's a good idea to fight the enemy. Just be prepared for injuries, at worst hospital trips - have some excuses ready." God, he was still bad with that. He was bad with lieing about anything though. "I'll help you though, training with me and others in my immediate little group." Something of a team perhaps, though he certainly didn't call it that nor think of it in such terms.

"So why are you..jealous over her over powering you?" He questioned with an arched blond brow.

Nicolae nodded. “Her name’s Sailor Aurora. She’s cute…thanks for your congratulations. It means a lot, to be honest.” He sighed. “I honestly never thought I’d end up dating anyone, but I am glad she is on our side. It’s good and all, no secrets and all that jazz…” He shrugged and ran a hand through his hair, nodding as Beni spoke of all of his worries and the warnings of hospital trips and injuries.

“So long as my beautiful face doesn’t get any scars, I’ll be good, I think. At least I’m pretty sure I’ll be good.” The lieutenant sighed and shrugged again. “And training sessions sound fantastic.”

The blonde gave the smallest little pout when the general mentioned that he was being jealous…and it was true…but…

“She’s younger than me, Beni. And she’s just a frail little thing and it’s so dumb that I’m dating a girl who by all rights should be weaker than me. I don’t want her going and trying to protect me…that’s a big old bash to my manhood! I need to restore my manhood and quick, or I don’t know what I’ll end up doing. So help me restore my honor!”

Hearing that name he burst out laughing. "I know her. I attend school with Esme." The words left him rather quickly, a smile rested upon his features. "I met her in school, than as one of our allies. She's not big on fighting, I worry about her defending herself to be honest. But to have become a super will help her." If she needed to, was backed into a corner, she'd be able to hopefully defend herself - at least better than as a simple senshi. "It is good that she's on our side, no secrets and such. It's a really good thing." It was the one big thing he planned to look for next time, if he ever let there be a next time.

"So scars elsewhere are alright...?" He questioned with a slight tilting of his head. "That is one thing you may have to accept - scars.

Oh god! He couldn't help the laughter which spilled from him at the others words. Well, at least he was being honest! He had to admire that. But really it was beyond amusing to the blond haired General. "You do realize I'm also younger than you. I mean, yes I have been in this longer than you. But I'm still younger than you by a few years." He didn't add that some people thought those who were gay were also less manly and weaker than a 'real man' - whatever a real man was.

"I'll help you get stronger...so you can protect her. As I said, she isn't a fighter. So I'm doing it for you and for her - not so you can regain your manhood or honor. I want you both safe." Benitoite finally managed to get out, from his new place of leaning against a tree. While caught up in his laughter over the others words he'd wound up in need of some support, other wise he might have just fallen right over.

Mariposite seemed a bit surprised, but then just nodded. Well, that was good, so long as his general approved of the relationship…at least he wouldn’t be yelled at or reprimanded for it. That just wasn’t cool. He stared at the laughing general, a small frown gracing his face. “Yeah. Scars other places are fine…you know. They’ll make me look rugged…”

He paused again, the frown turning into a scowl. “Quit laughing at me, Beni. I know you’re stronger than me, and I don’t really care about your age, you don’t have long pink hair and boobs. She looks like the sugar plum fairy, it’s not fair if she’s all dainty and cute and jumping between me and stupid prude-y senshi to protect my a**.”

As the general continued to laugh, the blonde lieutenant just shook his head, crossing over to him and stopping inches away from the tree. “Shut up and help me then! Don’t just laugh at my plight. Because it’s not funny. Save my manhood. Train me quickly, okay? I can’t just wallow as a lieutenant forever!”
PostPosted: Tue Dec 25, 2012 8:54 pm

"Prude-y senshi?" He asked quirking a brow at the other. "Alright, do tell me what happened. It sounds like a particular event happen involving you both and some...prude-y senshi." Oh this was turning very interesting, and also possibly into a realm he had little to no experience.

"I apologize for laughing but I do find this whole thing terribly amusing. I've never heard such reasons for wanting to gain in strength, nor have I heard them worded in quite the way you've done." Oh no. He wasn't sure if it sounded chauvinistic to him, prideful, whining, was just something completely childish. Either way it was highly amusing to him.

"Save your manhood...?" Biting his lip, fighting the comment he wanted to make, he stared up at the other as he straightened himself from his bent over stance. "What is this some quest for missing anatomy?" He asked finally, his cheeks flushed pink, he'd lost the battle. "Because if it is I'm afraid I'm not Indiana Jones. I can help you gain in strength, not find what's gone missing." Comment said, and quite nicely too, he summoned his weapon to himself. "So, do you wish to begin now? Or have you a limb to find?" Another quirking of a blond brow.

Mariposite shook his head, holding up his own pathetic ribbon baton. “You can hear the story of the prude senshi after we’ve located my manhood, and my manhood.” He gave a grin, seeming much more at ease now. “…Of course I mean my…well, you know. If we’re playing dirty, you know exactly what I mean. If I lose it though, it will be the fault of that spear thing of yours, my dear general.”

He took a few steps back, lest the younger male really decide to attack his true ‘manhood’ out of jest. “Should I just start flinging my mighty ribbon at you? Do you think I’ll do any real damage with it, or will I just end up tying up that pretty hair of yours? You know, a purple ribbon would look nice with that coat, Beni.”

Giving a loud laugh, the lieutenant flicked his wrist, letting the ribbon fling out, the end brushing against the general’s cheek. “I hope that scared you. That was my mightiest of attacks. All senshi and knights totally shake in their overly stylish boots when I do that, you know.”

"Spear thing...how eloquent." Came the remark from the grinning General. "Do tell me where you believe your lost you...manhood?" He questioned even as he felt his cheeks warming. This really wasn't a talk he should be having. Watching the other step back he shook his head lightly.

"I'd prefer something black, to be honest. And no, you can't tie my hair back. You should think to tie up my...spear thing, as you called it." He said still grinning at the other as he brought the blade down to point at the other, so he really could just jab it at Mariposite's midsection.

Smirking he leaned into the brush of the ribbon before he was focused on the other. "Yes, I can see how they would be quite scared. Though I do believe I may scare them a bit more." And with the last word spoken he brought his own weapon to use. Jabbing at the other sharply he was quick in swinging his weapon back and then bringing it down toward the other. He'd gotten used to the length and weight of his weapon and was rather quick with it by now.

Mariposite continued to grin for a moment, though it faltered as he suddenly found himself with a spear pointed right at his guy. Well…this was a good way to die, at any rate. “Yes, I can see how they would be much more afraid of you…and…Beni, if you leave me with any scars, rest assured I’ll come after you one day with a kitchen knife and rob you of your…well, undoubtedly smaller manhood. But everyone has a smaller manhood than me. That’s just how life works!”

He took a little leap backwards and yelped as he hit a tree, wincing. “See? I’m the manliest man alive…”

The lieutenant’s hat fell off his head as he stumbled away from the tree, cursing softly then rubbing at his head. “Ow. That hurt. Stupid tree.” He looked back towards Benitoite and brandished his ribbon baton once more, trying to get the useless piece of fabric to wrap around the general’s spear. “If you hold still, I could tie it to your spear and yank the thing out of your hands. That would work nicely, I’m sure.”
PostPosted: Tue Dec 25, 2012 9:31 pm

"My, my. Making assumptions based on nothing but the wind. Not a good idea really." He spoke shaking his head. "Really, you should meet Osumilite. You two have a similar opinion of yourselves." He stated as he wondered how such a meeting would go, he could only figure it would be some contest of who was more manly. Oh yes, that would be interesting.

"Yes it would. But the idea of fighting is not letting the opponent simply win. So to do that for you now would only hurt you in the end. You'll have to learn to control that and wrap up my spear without any help." The only help would be that he wasn't out to seriously injure, or kill, the other.

"Now, pay attention and work on getting that thing to work. If you must work on getting into my personal space. This weapon is good for long rage, bad for short in close fighting. You can force me to work with my hands and feet if you can get into my space." Not that he'd make that an easy task, he wasn't about to go too easy on him. Stepping over the others hat he took another swing at him with his spear, aiming for the others side.

Aw hell. So training meant actual training and working on skills and whatnot? Well. Damn. Here he had been hoping for some bro time with some fist bumping and maybe some good old fashioned punching one another, not working on getting his stupid ribbon to wrap around something…

Though he had managed to do it to both Aurora…and hadn’t he done it to that page girl too? Then of course he punched her in the boob, but now wasn’t the time to open THAT can of worms.

“Fine fine, I’ll do my bes—woah!”

The lieutenant jumped backwards and flailed his arms, trying to keep his balance as he did a sort of jig to get away from the oncoming spear. “Come on, Beni! You’re attacking me for real, almost. That’s not fair! I wasn’t ready!”

He would be now, however. Mariposite flicked his wrist again and grinned as the ribbon curled around the spear, though that didn’t help him with anything like pulling it away.

Thinking quickly, he jerked his hand back, and chose instead to flick it towards Benitoite’s face. Hopefully it would serve as a good distraction…then he could get in close and…and finish whatever deed he wanted to do. Hadn’t Beni said his spear wasn’t good for close up fights? This would work. Maybe.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 25, 2012 10:11 pm

"And like you said, I'm attacking but not quite for real. A senshi or a knight will attack for real, intent on injuring you. I'm not going to go easy on you. As I said, it wouldn't help you if I did that." Shaking his head at the other he flashed a smile. "Think of it as my way of saying I care about you." Came the odff handed, and slightly too sweet, comment. He was going to have to learn and get used to fighting, and defending himself, he wasn't going to get it easy from the younger blond.

Watching the ribbon wrap about his spear he flashed a smile. "Now you need to follow that up. It's good that you got it at least wrapped up. But do something now."

No, it wasn't good for in close fighting. He needed room to move it and strike with it. While the end on it was good for striking someones foot that wasn't nearly as useful as using the blade. And in close that became impossible to do. Watching the ribbon as it moved in and tickled his face he found himself distracted and soon staring right at the other, well he'd just proven himself capable of doing that. Though he also expected the other to try and move in close as soon as he'd said it.

With his spear now useless he let it drop from his gloved hands and fisted his right hand and took aim at the other with his fist.

Nicolae was exceptionally pleased that his ploy had worked and hesitated for a moment as he watched Benitoite’s hand curl into a fist. “Ah! Don’t bruise my face either, Beni! Don’t bruise mine and I won’t bruise yours, you know!”

He threw his own baton to the ground and lunged at Benitoite, hands outstretched, completely hoping to just push him to the ground. Not only would that immobilize the general for a few moments at least…well, he could say all sorts of things that would just tie into the while dirty jokes that had been shared this evening.

“I’m doing something, Beni. I’m doing something.” And he was. Or was trying to. Benitoite was smaller than him, and younger. And stronger, for that matter. It could turn out that this most amazing trick would do nothing more than have him land on his own damn face.

Oh well, at least he would have tried…and if he fell down. Well, maybe Esme would want to come and patch him up after.
