Their big family meeting went well Cecelia had thought. Sure things had gotten a little awkward between Mona and Hikari, but she was sure that the two girls would work it out especially if they both loved Kamryn. Love. Such a difficult thing. Changes siblings feelings and puts distance between two beings sometimes. That one face appeared in her mind once more. Her purple silly boy. It had been not long ago that she had left him and come home, back to her Damir and things were going good. They were..anyway. Time went by and Cece noticed her body changing, getting heavier and she began to get more moody. One day, it dawned on her what was happening to her body as her eyes widened with shock. No, surely not...she thought. Her heart squeezed as she thought of Ka and Damir both. Damir would be crushed....just as she was, and she didn't know how Ka would take it, if she should even tell him, he may not be easy to find. With a sigh, she took one last look at the lake and head back home to where she knew her mate would be waiting. "Damir?" She called once she got close to where they normally rested. The sun was just rising, she had risen early this morning for some fresh air and she was now glad that she had.

Damir had been laying somewhat peacefully in the shade of his and Cece's tree. He'd had several things plaguing his mind lately, but he kept shoving it to the back. His children and siblings were grown. Karia had left with her potential mate, Hikari and his son had hit it off, and Mona had wandered off once again, her heart hurt by the fact that she had no one to love her back, not even a mother.
Cece's tentative voice stirred him and he sat up, shaking off the leaves and numbness from the night before as he rose to greet her. "Good morning." He called softly as he nuzzled her side lovingly, noticing that she was getting a bit bigger around her middle. His suspicions swam in his mind, and this time, he couldn't shove them to the back. "Is there something you need to tell me?" He asked softly, looking into her beautiful eyes, trying to hide the pain within his.

His soft voice only made it all the worse. How could she tell him that..well, she couldn't even admit it to herself so how could she tell him? Pain flashed through her own eyes as she saw it in his. How could he know? She accepted his nuzzle as she looked away.
"There...is. I...never expected nor wanted this to happen. I..I am...pregnant." Cece's voice choked off as she began to cry. "I don't expect you to stay with me...not after this. I know this is not excusable. And I...I'm sorry. I owe you an explanation, but I will wait to say it in case you don't even want to hear it. Damir....I don't think words could express the amount of guilt or regret that I have." She couldn't look at him, she didn't want to look and see the blame or hatred that may lie in his eyes.

Damir took a step back, his eyes roaming over Cecelia, looking for the joke, the APRIL FOOLS, or anything that would tell him that his fears had not just been confirmed. He gave a small wince and looked away, his blue eyes swimming in pain he just could not hide.
But how could he rationally, logically, and in anyway condemn her? Hadn't he done the same to her? With Melody when his mother had passed? More pain clouded his mind as he struggled to figure out the right way to deal with this news.
"Okay..." He simply said after a few moments, not meeting her gaze.

"I can't ask you to forgive me, Damir." Cecelia said as she finally looked towards him. "When I...went away....I met someone. I...I didn't really mean for anything to happen I really didn't...I'm so sorry." Guilt laced her voice as she took a few steps back, trying to keep something of a composure.

Damir blinked and swallowed hard. For the life of him he could not bring himself to meet her gaze, even though he knew she felt horrible about it all. "I understand... And I cannot blame you, Cecelia... I forgive you." He said softly finally looking up to meet her own eyes, not trying to hide his tears.
"Who is the father, then?" He asked.

Cecelia's eyes closed fractionally, tears escaping. "A stallion named Ka Valko." She could force nothing else out of her mouth. "Damir...I'm...sorry."

Damir let out a soft sigh. "I understand, Cecelia... I cannot condemn you for what I myself have done to you... I can only be disappointed in your choice. But that does not change the fact that I love you and always will. You are my heart." He stepped towards her and nuzzled her shoulder lovingly. "I will stand proudly by your side and help with these foals, as best as I can."

"Thank you Damir. That means the world to me. Please believe me when I say I never intended to hurt you or anyone. I...I think Ka should know though. I don't know what it is...but something deep down is telling me that I should find him and tell him. When I met him, he was visiting friends or family in one of the greater herds." She tried to remember the names he had said that seemed like such a long time ago.
"Let's not let anything else come between us?" Cece asked hesitantly, accepting his nuzzle and giving her own. She hated when they fought, it wasn't pleasant for either of them.

Damir gave a small nod. "Speak to me of where and I shall go fetch him for you so you can stay close to home and away from danger." He replied smoothly, his voice and demeanor now completely back under control. He showed no emotion except stability. And that is all that was needed at the moment.

"I want to go with you. Never before have I stayed back because of danger before. I don't want to be away from you for even a moment. And I...well...don't know how he'll take it. The going might be a little bit slower, but I don't want to be left behind here." The mare felt as if her own spirit was broken by her betrayal to Damir. She felt sad and lost, wishing she could take everything back.

Damir gave a small nod as he looked past Cecelia, into the fields where his brother was resting after pulling the plow earlier. "Let me leave Darrian in charge and let him know we are leaving. I will be back soon." he said before turning and heading over to his Brother's form. "Darrian. Cecelia and I will be leaving on a short trip. You are in charge here until we return." He ordered. "Make sure your sisters, Jonda, and Kelyan keep up the patrols. Mona should be around to help with the plowing, and Bhaskar's family isn't far off. You know where they live. Their children are old enough now that they can travel to come help."

Cecelia nodded simply, the sad look still on her face as she watched Damir cross the fields to where Darrian lay.
Darrian was off in peaceful sleep after pulling the plow, his body grateful to be resting after all the work. The muscles around his wings ached from the harness but he wouldn't even think about complaining to anyone lest they make him stop helping with farm work. It wasn't until he heard hoof steps that his eyes opened. Seeing his brother's swirly legs he jumped up. Damir was very...curt today it seemed. Issuing orders was not Damir's way normally, but today it was. He nodded at every order, trying to memorize them all. Then he mentioned Bhaskar's family, he tried to keep his face calm and neutral, but the matter of the fact was that he didn't particularly care for his adopted nephew's family, though he would never tell his brother that. "Is everything alright Damir?" He looked past him to Cece who didn't look very happy at all. "Do you need me to accompany you or follow from behind? I can scout ahead of where ever you're going." He offered.

Damir sighed and shook his head, noticing his brother's.. look of disdain that crossed with the mention of Bhaskar's family. "No Darrian... This is something we must do alone..." He said, looking back at Cecelia before casting his eyes at the ground and shaking his head. It was hard for him to stuff his feelings of hurt and desperation behind, but he knew he must, so that he wouldn't push Cecelia away from him again. "I know you don't particularly like Bhaskar's family, Darrian, but they will help. And they would never bring harm to our family."

Dar kept any further comments that he had about Bhaskar to himself. He didn't think Damir would really understand his point of view on it. "Allright then. I will hold down the fort here."
Cecelia approached the two talking, grief clear on her face and her body stiff with a little bit of pain. "Shall we go?" She suggested.
((Should we time skip after your post to when they're traveling to where Cece thinks Ka will be and Ed can enter the rp? Or should they spend so much time traveling that she has the foals and then they find Ka?)) lol
