Eventually, Pandora had gotten up, her mind pushing the thoughts and feelings of being in a dream world to make the scene easier to take. It didn't make the slowly growing bruises, the slight streaks of blood, and the shallow, unconscious breathing any less haunting.
All of her had wanted to run. Nothing had seemed more of a task than having to touch the slimy fool again. Murderer. Yet, he hadn't succeeded, and he had been there, desperately hanging onto his life. Vulnerable. In the middle of the street.
So, Pandora had bent down, limbs shaking madly, to scoop him up. His lanky body had made things difficult at first, but Pandora had managed to half drag/half carry him to the dark side of a building, recently swept out. By the time she took off her hat and placed it underneath his head to give him some comfort, her whole body had broken into a quivering, shuddering mess.
She'd turned from him, ripping off the lid of a garbage can in desperation, unable to keep herself from leaning her weight on its edges. The smell of decomposition only aided the urge, and she eventually lost what she'd eaten that day. And, awfully, she remembered feeling better. Like she'd been carrying the stress and the fear in her gut and she'd finally remembered to get rid of it.
And Pandora vaguely remembered leaning her forehead against the dirty alley wall, sniffing, but far past tears, as she regained some semblance of logical thought. Cell-phones. She barely remembered how she'd been taught to summon them, and when it popped into existence, she nearly dropped it into the open garbage can.
She'd called the only number she knew until it finally picked up.
"I need you." It hadn't mattered if it was her or not. Pandora hadn't cared. "I need help right now." It had been strained, barely gotten out. "Please," she had managed, before choking out the name of the cross-streets.
That was all an indiscernible amount of time ago. Now, Pandora sat with dirtied white pants and fuku, back against the wall opposite her victim. Victim? A chill curled down her spine, and she moved her hands away from the spot where he'd been inside her chest.
All she could manage for the member of chaos was a glance. Pandora couldn't look at him. So she looked out into the streets, feeling like she was wasting seconds, and dreading the moment Maia arrived. If, in fact, she came at all.

Maia had been out patrolling, looking for new members of the order side who she might help train. It was her focus now and she was pleased with the progress that at the very least her brother was making. She was alone tonight and it hadn't been a quiet night. She had already had to run ins with youma's and she did not think she would be getting any training done, still she was not expecting the phone call that made her heart go double pace.
On the other end Pandora, calling for help. Maia of course had said she would be there immediately after the girl had given the street names. She wasn't sure exactly where it was, but she used her phone to guide her and was extremely grateful for it when Pandora showed up in range and she was able to take a surer path to her.
Jump from the roof to the ground where Pandora was hoping the girl had felt her coming and wouldn't startle she noted everything seemed calm. She walked right up to the girl looking her over, but also feeling the chaos energy just by them. She looked to see the other, he eyes widening, and her mind running over time.
"What happened, are you okay," she asked.

Things happened exactly as she thought, only much worse.
The senshi scrambled to her feet as she felt the strong, comforting eternal energy grow more concrete. Pandora had her own slight bruises to attend to where she'd landed on her hands and knees the first time, and where she'd hit the ground the second. But other than the ripped jeans and an exceptionally pale body, she looked physically fine.
Probably not like her once-opponent. Pandora didn't want to look in order to find out. Instead, she stared back at Maia. The words she had in her throat were completely gone, and she swallowed the bile that was left. How did you explain something like this? Pandora felt ashamed, not only because of her reaction, but because of the memory of having her star seed nearly ripped out. Would Maia even believe her?
"Fine," Pandora was nodding with he words, as though trying to convince herself. "I. . . " she began again, then diverted to honesty. "He's unconscious." Her fault, she didn't add, though that was probably just as obvious.
"I didn't know what to do." Pandora still didn't. Sure, she knew what you were supposed to do with an unconscious victim, and the steps to take after they had regained thought -- when you worked around horses, you had to know. She'd already broken two of the rules, but she couldn't leave him in the street, and she couldn't call 911. Now, she had to watch him, and he would need to be watched, for at least 24 hours, until they could be sure there was no permanent damage.

The world was still humming and everything was awfully fuzzy. Bazzite didn't recall exactly what happened. One moment he'd been fondling a starseed and came to the sickening realization that they're like the lifeforce of a senshi, and then the next... ...the next was... here? He tried to sit up but with his head pounding like it was put him right back against the wall. He squinted and tried to shift his weight but to no avail. His body protested and he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. So this was what that punching bag felt like when I wailed on it... ow... Gingerly he touched his face, feeling the familiar sag of skin where a swollen bruise resided. He smelled blood and felt it crusty against his lips. His nose still worked, thankfully, which meant it wasn't broken. His legs were intact even if they weren't moving. But where was here? The captain squinted and rolling his head to the side, making out the green-on-white glob that he assumed was the chick that beat the snot out of him. Someone beyond her was blinding him with their signal. Must be an eternal or somethin'... he thought ruefully. Was he going to die? Was this the last time he'd ever wake up? Bazzite sighed and it came out like more of a gurgle. This sucked.

Maia frowned lightly not really liking how pale Pandora was or how she seemed to be at a lost for words. The one time Maia had really snapped on negaverser was some time ago and she had run once she heard the crunch the signaled she might have broken something on her. She'd been terrified, but here was Pandora with an unconscious negaverser behind her looking a bit lost. Already Maia knew she was going to be a force to reckoned with in the future.
She stopped looking at the negaverser behind Pandora and looked to the girl. "There isn't much you can do aside from wait for him to wake up. Many other's would have left him, it speaks volumes for your character that you didn't. You're a brave one."
Her eyes wandered back to the negaverser and she saw what looked like a roll of his head, "He looks like he is waking up. Pandora you need to tell me what happened. I can try to patch him up a bit if you need me to, but then it would be best if we leave. It is very possible that someone could come looking for him."
She didn't at all like saying what she was saying to the girl, but she knew that the negaversers tended to stick together. She had seen it with her own eyes what keeping one could do. This of course was a different situation, but that fact remained or it at least it appeared that Pandora had done this and that could be dangerous.

Pandora didn't need to hear about her character, didn't want to hear about her character, and yet Maia's continued voice calmed her anyway. As long as she kept talking, kept telling Pandora that, yes, this was real, and yes, they could deal with it. No, you weren't alone.
The fact that he was waking brought a new surge into her mind. It was easier when he was unconscious. What if he attacked her again? What if he had suffered damage? The sound of his voice, even in her mind, made her sick.
"He," this was harder than she'd thought, but she was running out of time. "We fought," she finally managed, starting with the easy part. "He, uh, he got the upper hand." The quick, subconscious clutch to her chest said the words she couldn't. "By the time I stopped, he was -- I didn't mean to."
Leave. The word struck her hard. She wanted to, almost every part of her wanted to. But it was wrong. More than wrong.
"He's waking up really slowly," she commented instead. That was wrong. That was not a good sign. What if she'd caused lasting damage? Pandora was unable to keep herself from moving forwards towards him, trying to be responsible. "Hey! Can you hear me?"
Someone could come looking for him. Another assault. This time, she might not get away. Maia was right. But the Liberty in her just couldn't do it.
"If they're not monitored. . ." she pleaded, looking back at the Eternal senshi. "Maia, he might relapse and die." And that death would be blood all over her hands. Even if he was chaos, even if he could have been a murderer. She didn't really know, but she knew she would be, if she let him alone.

Bazzite blinked again as if he'd been assaulted by a camera's flash when he wasn't ready. He squinted at Pandora like she was a thousand burning suns for a moment. Her hair certainly resembled a burning sun, anyway. "Mmmgggff..." he started, had a peculiar look on his face, squinted again and sighed. "....mmmyeah, I c'n hear you. Hi." He coughed a few times and sat up finding his sides hurt. That must've meant Pandora pulverized him there too. Not that he blamed her. "...sorry. About before." came a mumble but not because Bazzite was ashamed. His view of the world was starting to stabilize now and the two senshi weren't ticking this way and that like the deck of a boat. The senshi of jealousy rattled him pretty good - not that he had a lot of brains to rattle, but that was a different story entirely. Try as he might, Bazzite found he couldn't quite get up like he had hoped. "Errrff." He flopped back down and wondered what would happen next. "Umm... yeah, sorry. I uh... didn't... know."

Maia frowned noticing the motion Pandora did while she explained what had happened. That motion was enough and Maia knew what Bazzite had done to the poor girl. It was something she wished she could have spared Pandora, something she herself had endured twice. It was a shock to see her standing and the situation having obviously been turned around.
Her frowned eased at the mention of not meaning to. She understood that feeling and the feeling of being in over ones head. She figured this was Pandora right now, her mind still racing.
Pandora was asking the boy if he could hear her and he gave a response which to Maia was a good thing. She hoped the boy would be alright and could stand and get himself together, so that Pandora would calm a bit more.
He was appologizing and it made Maia a bit angry, still she knelt next to him and reached out to feel his pulse. It was something she had seen her brother do. She could feel it beneath her fingers thumping in his wrist. She gave him a stern glare, "you don't know what lightening feels like, but you don't dare to catch it anyway. It's the same sentiment." She was calling essentially calling him a moron in a polite manner.
She looked to Pandora, "his pulse is strong. I do not think he will be relapsing and dying tonight. Still help me a moment, pulling the bow from her hair and handing it to Pandora, then pulling the bow from her waist away. She sighed, "clean up his face a bit. I'll help you patch him up as much as I can, but then we need to leave Pandora."
She looked to Bazzite, "what hurts most?"

Didn't know? Pandora seethed. How could he not know? What type of person didn't know. He had reached into her chest! What did he -- the redhead was finding her hands were clenched tight again, her jaw locked. Carefully, she eased each finger apart. Perhaps he really hadn't known. The leaders of the Chaos faction, what she'd heard of them, had proven to be misguiding, evil, manipulative jerks.
"It's not important right now," she told him. Though, he better not dare forget it. If she ever caught him trying to take someone else's, well. . . Pandora wasn't sure, but she could feel the pressure strong against her chest at the thought.
"Pay attention to me." Pandora glanced at Maia, nodding, clenching her jaw, and then crouching. From her fellow senshi, she took the bow and worked on trying to remove any dirt that was threatening to infect his mouth. "This is really important," she began again, her eyes focusing on the Captain. "We can't stay here with you, but you can't fall asleep. Find someone. When you do sleep, make them wake you up every two hours. If you're having trouble talking, or you don't wake, they need to take you to a hospital immediately. Tell them. Promise me you'll do this, okay?" Despite that it still brought bile into her throat, Pandora stared him straight in the eyes. "Promise me."

Bazzite felt something warm on his hand and looked to Maia, who still appeared fuzzy around the edges. He squinted at her, concentrating fiercely on every fuzzy feature of her face. When nothing seemed to come of that, he sighed and rolled his head onto his shoulder. "Mom...?" No, that didn't seem right, but the warmth was there. He suddenly grew homesick and frowned. "My all of me hurts, mom." The captain gave a deep sigh, his chest moving greatly with the action. He heard what Pandora was explaining but his addled brain couldn't make much sense of it. Concussion? he thought for a moment before his brain retreated back into that cotton ball feeling. Alexandre would know what to do, definitely. Bazzite had that communication crystal on him. He could call his General right then and there if he wanted to. But he didn't. These two senshi, even if they were space pirates, they were helping him. He had to thank them for that. Deep blue eyes met Pandora's green for a moment. He nodded slowly, confirming he'd heard her. "...promise. But... sorry. ....didn't know..." He sighed again, looking away. He'd have to talk to Benitoite about this, and soon. After he recovered.

Maia made a face at being called mom by a negaverser. It was worrying especially knowing they could be discovered at any moment and the boy seemed to be less coherent than he originally appeared. She frowned deeply at his saying all of him hurt, not really sure where to start or where to go from the moment. Not only that he called her mom once more.
She looked to Pandora trying to keep the worry from her face, but she felt Pandora was right and that the boy might have a concussion. His promise to Pandora, Maia felt meant pretty much nothing when he was calling her mom, but at least Pandora got him talking.
"We can't stay with him all night and while he pulse is strong he needs treatment." She groaned at the complication of the situation slightly irritated Bazzi had a concussion and feeling an headache blossom.
"There are two options I think we could use. Both being somewhat dangerous. The first is moving him to the hospital in the red light district, don't ask. They don't care if we come in like this and they will treat him, but we need to get him there and well I'd rather not be seen driving my car like this."
She continued to frown, "or I can search out a negaverser and get them to follow me here. And currently I don't feel anyone, so no one is close. Either way this night promises to get worse."

Open-mouthed, Pandora stared. Her eyes slid slowly over to Maia, and found that they were exchanging worried glances. It had been worse than she'd thought.
"He needs something," she pressed Maia. They absolutely could stay with him all night. It just wouldn't be safe, or healthy. If she had to, she'd drag him back to her dorm.
"Red-light district." There was absolutely no hesitation as Pandora said it. The last thing she wanted to do was meet with another member of chaos. The chances of finding them were slim, and could she trust them to take care of the injured properly? It was best to get him where there was some semblance of training.
"How far is it? The sooner we can get him there, the better." Could he stand? They'd carry him together if they had to. "Taxi?" she suggested. Then, she paused. "Is there a direct number we can call?" If they could bring the hospital to them somehow, it would save them a whole lot of trouble.
"Stay awake," she shot towards their woozy victim. They weren't losing him now. "We're going to get you help, okay?"

Bazzite shook his head as furiously as his body would allow. No, he'd had well enough of hospitals. He hated hospitals. He'd been in too many because of his father to want to go back, even if he needed the help. No, he was a captain. He could figure this out. He had to figure this out. Plus he didn't want these two getting the brunt of whatever the Negaverse would hold against them for assaulting one of their agents even if he started it. Bazzite smashed himself against the wall and pushed upward, coming to a stop by locking his knees. "No... no no, I'll be okay. I promise." he wheezed. He would be rattled for a day or two but he had confidence that Alex could get him through whatever his body was doing. Wake up every two hours? That seemed awful. What if he just wanted to sleep it off? Holding his hand out, Bazzite called his purple Negaverse crystal to himself. "I can... call Beni with this. He'll come help me but..." The captain frowned, looking at both senshi with the clearest eyes he'd had since the blackout. "...but you guys gotta go first. I don't want him... findin' you, with me like this and all... you know? It'd be trouble." Beni wouldn't hesitate like I did.

Maia nodded at her agreement to the red-light district, though she wasn't sure just how effective a taxi would be. She didn't have any money and she doubted Pandora did. She didn't like the taxi option very much.
Pandora was talking to the boy again, but then he was standing and Maia was surprised at he even had the ability to stand. It made her instantly grab Pandora to keep her out of his range despite him seeming harmless.
The crystal was new to her, she had never seen once before, but the said he could use it to call Beni. That name wasn't new to her and she knew that Bazzite was definitely correct that they needed to be gone with that general showed up.
"Now we really need to leave Pandora. The last run in I had with Beni and I'm assuming he means Benitiote, did not end well for him. I would rather not be around when he shows up. It would be best for both of us to leave. He has no qualms about seriously injuring you and I have the scar to prove it."
She gave Bazzite another glance and moved to make Pandora follow her. "Let's go. He will be fine. As much as we've got issues, I'm sure Benitiote will take care of him."

He was standing. That eased her some, but still hardly at all. It was a step in the right direction, but hardly a blink when it came to concussion victims. Pandora watched him warily, but it was Maia who had the smarts to watch out for the redhead's safety.
Injured as he was, he had to be treated like a buck caught in a fence. The horns, the hooves, the body itself could kill. In their pain and fear, they were dangerous enough to kill even when being helped. A Negaverser was the same, only it had the added bonus of being potentially malicious.
Instantly, her eyes moved to the crystal. A rock? Yet, she could make flesh feel like it was boiling with her hands, so she would not question further.
"Ok," she finally relented, glancing from the captain to the senshi as though still uncertain. A long sigh. "Let's," she faltered as another thought crossed her mind, and then once again relented. "Let's get out of here."
