Ever since the tiger had earned her wings, Eternal Sailor Tsui had grown quite content with taking strolls throughout the city, expanding what she felt was her territory and simply taking in environment. Recent events, prior, during and after her upgrade, had made the Senshi of Tigers more weary of immediately seeking out Chaos energy signatures, not because she was scared or didn't want to fight anymore, but simply because... no, she was afraid, but she wasn't afraid of them. She had faced many opponents and there were times where she barely got away from an encounter with her life. Yet, she didn't back down from any youma, Negaverse officer or Dark Mirror Court member tonight, but rather, herself. She didn't want to make matters worse or prove them right, by purposefully going out and seeking the fight. Instead, she was trying a different approach, and instead of trying to attune her Senshi senses to find chaotic aura, she was on the look out for auras of the Order court. Whether it be Senshi, Knight, or even something else... For every Negaverse officer and Dark Mirror senshi she had met, she had met a Knight or Senshi as well, and if she meant what she had said, in the meeting, to Zia and Pippin, then she felt that she should make a conscious effort of meeting other members of her court. So tonight, the tiger began her prowl, not to sink her teeth into a youma or officer, but instead, to extend her hand in friendship. There were times when even a tiger needed to socialize, size up their friends and allies, right?

Sailor Persephone was, quite frankly, lost, both physically and emotionally. She was in a part of Destiny City she'd never been to before, never mind that she was powered up, apparently a magical girl, and had been tossed into the middle of a war she didn't really completely understand by a cute but fairly derpy cat.
She knew enough, so far, to know that there were going to be times when she had to fight, and it twisted her up inside. as Caitlyn, she fled even the beginnings of verbal confrontation and resorted to doormat behavior and almost militant peacemaking to keep it away.
An honest-to-goodness war with honest-to-goodness serious philosophical differences and honest-to-goodness fighting and dying? Totally and utterly beyond her. But one thing she definitely knew was that friends and allies would be crucial...so when she sensed a strong power signature, of the Order variety, she immediately went towards it.
When she spotted the girl with her awesome two-tone hair and her very fliuffy fuku, she really did mean to open her mouth with at least a vaguely normal greeting. Instead, what came out was, "Oh my god, you have buttwings, that's awesome."

It seemed that her quest to find another member of her court would be met with some measure of success, and Tsui had spotted the other Senshi around the same time as she spotted her. The two had met in one of Tsui's favorite locations, a courtyard of a hotel or at least that's what Tsui thought the building was, as there were lawn chairs and tables set up all around them. An easy place for a youma to hide, but not today, it seemed, as the two Order powers uniting here would definitely be enough to keep the lowered leveled ones away. And if not, Tsui was more than able to keep them at bay, should the worse happen. Confidence was something Tsui had plenty of, and gaining her buttwings only seemed to increase this mentality of hers. It was also a bad thing to feed the Senshi of Tigers compliments, as she seemed to be a glutton for them, and despite how things had changed for her, there seemed that some things were destined to remain the same. "Yeah, well, I worked hard for these buttwings, so I'd hope they'd be awesome!" She took the compliment and immediately devoured it to feed her ego, though she still tried to give the illusion that she was modest. She gave her hips a little swivel to shake them up and bring more attention to it, all the while not hiding her confidence, nor the scars on her side that were now completely exposed for the other senshi to see. She didn't spend too much time showing off her buttwings, though, and she promptly introduced herself. "The name's Eternal Sailor Tsui, and I'm the Senshi of Tigers, as seen with my stripes here. What's your name?" She took this time to take in her ally's appearance, immediately looking at what she thought was a fruit in her hair and pondering to herself what it was. After all, she may have been an self-proclaimed expert on animals, but flora and fruits? That was something foreign to her.

Persephone was totally unaware of the dangers of feeding tigers compliments, and so she was happy to do it.
"Ohhh, are the buttwings like, a rank thing? I'm sorry I am beyond totally new at this but they look really really really cool." And then she got a good look at Tsui's scars, and her expression briefly dropped. "Oh god how did you...get those?"
She flushed. "Er, I'm Sailor Persephone, Senshi of Pomegranates which is definitely not as cool as Tigers." Really, a fruit compared to a ferocious, badass animal? Never mind that the connection between her sphere and her Senshi name, mythologically speaking, was kinda depressing.

"Yeah, buttwings are a sign of a Senshi reaching her or his Eternal Rank. There's basic, then Super, and then, when you've beaten up enough baddies and endured all of their crazy mindgames, you sprout these babies," Tsui said, motioning to them and half wishing she could get them to flap, even if there was no way it'd get her to fly, even as small and light as she may be. When the other senshi had noticed her scars, she paused in her actions and passed her fingers over them, as if to still try to get used to the fact that they were there and how she had gotten them. Most people would have been ashamed that their scars, or in Tsui's case, past mistakes, were plainly visible to others, and yet, even as she glanced down at them, she was rather content to show them off. Not only did it make her feel like a bad a**, but it could easily serve as a reminder to other Senshi, Chibi and Pages that she may have came across what their enemy was capable of. "This is a gift from the Negaverse," Tsui explained, doing nothing to hide them and in fact, moving around some of her fur at her waist so that Persephone could see them. "When you cross their path and don't dodge their weapons quickly enough, this is what happens. These especially came from two different ones." She pointed to the one on the bottom first, retelling the event. "This came from General Benitoite, who I'd suggest you don't listen to. Ever. He's nothing but a smooth-talking sack of lies, and a monster, at that. Won't think twice about plucking out your starseed and eating it like candy, so stay away from him, no matter how pretty or enticing he looks." Which lead her to the second scar, the one on the top. "And this is from a very stab happy general named Painite. Don't even talk to her. If you see a general with short hair and a spear, just run. Unless you're packing enough strength or can dodge really well, anyway. She's just crazy." Crazy was hardly the word most people would use, but Tsui felt that she had gotten her point across well enough. Now that she had thoroughly freaked out the poor newcomer, Tsui moved on to the next stage, displaying nothing but a wide smile and confidence to Persephone. "But don't worry, Persephone. It's up to Senshi like me to make sure none of this will happen to you. And I wouldn't be too quick to push aside fruits as powerful weapons... one of the first Chibi senshi I ever came across killed a youma with a single watermelon." Not that Tsui had any idea what a pomergranate was, not what connection it had to the Greek myth, but after what she has experience in the last year, she wasn't willing to pass anything off as a useless weapon. After all, not too long ago, someone had tried to choke her with a rubber snake. At this point, any and everything could be deadly when you were a Senshi...

"Ohhh I gotcha, so your rank is your power level kinda? and it shows you've gotten a lot of experience?" Huh, maybe she'd manage being an Eternal someday. She glanced back at her own outfit. Buttwings would look nice - but then, buttwings would probably look nice with most everything.
She paid full attention, however, when Tsui started to describe how she got her scars. The girl's stories, she took as her own warnings. "I...haven't met any Negaversers at all, yet," she admitted softly. It was a slightly frightening thought that there really were enemies out there who clearly had the intention to kill.
She also remembered the two specific names she had been given, but she did wrinkle her nose slightly. "...Painite? Gee, that's a little heavy-handed, isn't it?" She snorted. "I mean, you can't exactly feel all happy and comfortable around somebody named that. It's like...naming a computer GLaDOS and then being surprised when it starts being, you know, evil."
Persephone was always the sort to make a joke like that. Easier than letting herself panic over the fact that yeah, some of these Negas? Would stab her and give her scars just like Tsui's. Kill her, even. Eat her starseed like candy, as Tsui had put it.
She nodded. "I'm glad to hear that, that there are stronger Senshi out there." She blinked. "A watermelon? Really? And uh, at the risk of sounding like an idiot...what's a Chibi Senshi?" She was familiar with the term "chibi," (thank you, fandom) but wasn't quite sure how it applied here.

Taui couldn't help but laugh at Persephone's statement, and to add to that statement about Painite, she brought up an example of her own. "Yeah, it's like... someone being called Lord Black-something or other, or someone being played by Ben Kingsley and being surprised when he's the badguy or something." Her smile faded slightly, though, when she knew that messing with Painite was no laughing matter. It took much to emotionally scar Tsui, so she felt the need to stress her point with the young Senshi. "But seriously, stay away from her. If there's one thing to expect from Painite it's that she's very honest when she wants to kill you." Something that a lot of Negaverse officers and their Corrupted senshi lacked was honesty in their goal. At least with Painite, you could trust that she liked just wanted to kill you, where as others were more willing to feed little lies here and there and strike when your guard was down. Tsui didn't think too much on it herself, as the new Senshi gave her something else to answer. "Chibi are another branch of Senshi in the White Moon. They're younger than us, like... erm... maybe ages 10 to 12? I never thought to ask them about their age- just seems like something that's none of my business, you know?" She wondered how much this Senshi didn't know, but the most important matter that came to mind was her ability and willingness to fight. Tsui may not be able to give her every answer to every question, but she could definitely help the girl out in that department. "So, Persephone... how many fights have you been involved in? Because... this is a war, and as you can plainly see, you're going to have to take up arms at some point or other." She didn't motion to the scars- she didn't need to. "I've been in a lot of fights, so if you think you'd need some help in that department, I can definitely help you out with that! It's my specialty, so to speak!" 'More like the only thing you're decent at...' Tsui thought bitterly to herself, but she allowed for none of it to be seen to the Senshi of Pomegranates.

"Right?" Persephone nodded. "You want to talk obviously evil, man, that's pretty obviously evil." She said. "But uh, I will definitely stay away from her." She did not want to mess with someone named Painite. That just seemed borderline suicidal. Especially considering that she'd managed to give a nasty scar to another Senshi and therefore quite obviously meant business.
She stared, however, briefly stunned into silence by the idea of chibi senshi. "...Little kids?" She asked. God, her baby sister Thalia was right in that range! There was a scary thought. She could barely handle this; the idea of little Thalia out fighting bad guys as a magical girl...nope, nope, nope.
"Er, fights? I uh." Persephone coughed. "I don't...really...fight..." She scuffed her sandal against the ground. "I mean, I know I'm gonna have to at some point, I just...I'd really rather not. I'm not all that strong and I mean - I've never even tried out my Senshi magic?"
She stared at Tsui with wide pleading eyes. "I-I'd really like it if you could help me out." She admitted. "I know I'm gonna have to fight and that not everyone's gonna want to play nice and...I don't want to be a weak link if I'm with other people."

It had figured that Persephone was a complete newbie, though Tsui couldn't find any fault in her for that. After all, she was a newbie herself, once upon a time, wasn't she? Except once upon a time was almost a year ago, and that made Tsui want to trail off into nostalgia land, as well as cringe. She was quite foolish and reckless back then, though really, did all that much change? She was still reckless, in the very least, but at least now she was willing to do more than just find the closest Chaos aura and punch them right in the face. That had to be doing something right, after all. "Well, I know a few Senshi and Knights who aren't that keen on fighting, but... trust me, the time will come when you'll have no choice in the matter, and there won't always be a chance to run." Once again, Tsui's voice fell into a more serious tone, and though she wanted to enlighten the new Senshi on more of her own experiences, she felt that perhaps a hands-on approach would be much better. And what best way to test another Senshi's powers than to see it in action? She actually took a step back from Persephone, holding her arms at her side and looking like she was trying to loosen up. It was settled then. She wanted to see what Persephone could do. "Okay, so, use your attack against me, and let's see what it'll do."

Persephone frowned slightly, shifting to a more serious mode herself. She had to remember that this was war, and not just the best cosplay she'd ever experienced. She was a magical girl and that meant there were evil things out there to fight!
"Like...hit you with it? Uhh, okay."
Well, at least he first fight would be against someone on her side, so she wasn't in real serious danger, she supposed. But she couldn't think of a way for pomegranates to be used offensively, at all. Unless she summoned up magical fruit for throwing.
That would be pretty great.
She had to close her eyes and focus for a bit, but it came to her, just like the right transformation phrase had - "Pomegranate Kiss!" She cupepd her hands and held them out, and when she opened her eyes again, there were three seeds in her hand. Without thinking, she popped one in her mouth and closed her fist around the other two. Almost immediately, she felt herself perk up.
Well, that wasn't exactly fruit explosions, but it'd do!Attack Description! Sailor Scout Attack: Pomegranate Kiss! Sailor Persephone speaks the name of the attack and holds out her cupped hands, in which three pomegranate seeds of energy appear. If she or an ally "consume" these, they will experience a small boost in energy, feeling more alert and with slightly increased reflexes, lasting about twenty seconds. One seed is sufficient for the boost to occur. She can summon these once per battle, but if she drops them somehow, they simply vanish.

Despite her rough and tumble ways, there was a part of Tsui that was quite content with the fact that her attack wasn't sending flaming pomegranates at her, though she could do little to hide her curiosity when three of the fruits seemed to have appeared out of thin air and into Persephone's hand. She watched her eat one, and despite their distance, she could almost see the effects that the fruit had on the other Senshi. She seemed more lively, more... energetic, and Tsui couldn't help but question her about the effects of her attack. "So, you eat them? I never had a pomegranate before... how do you feel after eating it?" Tsui approached her, not outright taking one for herself but making it rather clear that she was interested in trying one. She waited patiently for Persephone to offer her one, as she tried to explain her own attack. No, Persephone didn't need a hand's on demonstration of her attacks... not unless the poor girl wanted to go flying back or stunned. "My attack's definitely more straight forward. I lunge forward and slam white aura against my foe, which sends them flying back and leaves them stunned for a moment. Gives me a chance to flee or let someone else get a swipe in... not that I ever run." Then she added in, softly and with an indignant huff. "Often." Whether Persephone would badger her about the comment didn't bother her, and the Senshi of Tigers looked back down at the pomegranate in her hands. "Makes me wonder what yours does. How do you feel? What happens if you drop one, or try to lob one at your enemy... will it do the same thing or would it explode?"

Persephone was normally pretty energetic, and the boost from the seed only helped. She was, almost unnoticeable, fidgeting, and bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet.
"I don't have them that often either and they definitely don't normally do this - it's kinda like distiller caffeine, man." She giggled at her own description. She noticed Tsui's desire, and handed one of the seeds over. "Gee, that sounds more useful." She said, blinking. "I'd rather something offensive really. But hey." She wasn't sure how she'd feel chucking an explosive fruit at another person.
"I dunno about dropping or throwing at an enemy -- do attacks work like that a lot, do one thing to allies and something else to enemies?" She blinked, tilting her head to the side. That was an interesting thought.

Tsui wasn't the type to be so utterly invested in science, but she was always willing to try new and different things. So, she accepted the pomegranate seed and plopped it into her mouth with little thought or hesitation. She never had much experience with other Senshi's powers, how it would differentiate ally verses foe or if it really could. If eating it gave Persephone a kick, then would it drain the energy of an enemy? There was one way to find out, but for now, she had to see what it would do to an ally. The burst of energy she felt was great, and Tsui couldn't deny it. She was already energetic, but now she felt like she could run around the globe a few times over. She could feel the energy swelling in her and almost swore she could see it permeating around her, as though she were a character in Dragonball Z trying to power up, but a quick look over her body told her that this was not so (though it still felt that way). "Yeah, this feels pretty damn good... gives this to yourself or an ally and see what it can really do in a fight. Not an offensive power, but pretty useful when you need energy in a pinch!" Tsui almost wanted to demonstrate her own attack, wondering if it would have amplified her attack, but she had no target to strike (except for Persephone, of course, but she wouldn't dare). Still, her curiosity didn't end there, and she motioned to the ground. "Alright, now, put the last one on the ground or drop it. See what happens." She half wondered if she should have braced herself, on the off chance that they may have exploded upon impact. She had never done this thorough of research in someone else's power before, but it was definitely an interesting experience.

Persephone's expression lit up when she realized that yup, it had the same effect on Tsui. Okay, so she was useful! Nothing was exploding and no one was getting hurt, but she could help people and that was pretty important, right? Support characters were cool too!
She nodded at Tsui's suggestion. "I'll keep 'em in reserve for when things get tough!" She said. That seemed like a good idea, rather than using up a quick rush all at the beginning.
She blinked. "Oh, huh, yeah, should probably make sure they don't explode or something." So she turned her hand over and let the last one fall to the ground. As soon as it did, it vanished.
"Well that was anticlimactic."

Tsui was no scientist. Far from it. Yet, she couldn't help but express a keen interest in their findings, and if she had a pair of glasses or crazy goggles, she would have fitted them back onto her face and had said something along the lines of 'fascinating' and scribbled down the results on a notepad. Unfortunately (or fortunately for Persephone), Tsui was neither a scientist nor a big lover of science, and she was quick to come to a conclusion. "So, it seems that if they fall on the ground, they disappear. If someone else, enemy or ally, eats it then they get the boost as well." That seemed fair, in a sense. It simply meant that she had to make sure their enemy didn't get a hold of the pomegranate in the middle of a fight, and Persephone may had to have played a more supportive role in a fight. Unless, of course, she could physically defend herself. "So, you've ever thrown a punch or kick before? Any professional training or even school yard brawls? Anything where you can defend yourself?" Tsui threw the questions at Persephone, certain that she had already answered this but just wanting to verify. "I've been in a lot of fights, so I can definitely spar with you, just to give you an idea of what to expect? I promise, I won't use my attack on you- as important as it would be to dodge, I don't want to risk throwing you into a wall or to the Moon." That last part was obviously a joke, but given how space travel was possible, she didn't want to take any chances with that 'threat'. Though, the thought of striking an enemy straight into space did make the Tiger Senshi chuckle a little.
