Personalities: Heidi is very laid back and down to earth, she tries not to let much bother her. What's the point? Life's not fun if you let every little bad thing get you upset. She's not perfect at it, she
is still just a teenage girl, but she does her best. She does enjoy complaining for the sake of complaining even if most of the time she isn't even serious about it, simply whining to be obnoxious while..doing the exact thing she is saying she refuses to do because it's totally against her religion to do this, guys. Totally. Heidi knows when to be serious, she's not completely stupid. She likes to think she's a friendly person, she'll listen to your opinions and your view on things even if she doesn't entirely agree with them, and she tries to make a habit to be open-minded. How hard can it be? Love and peace dude...and stuff..yeah.
Matilda claims to be a brilliant poet. Yes...a poet on par with Shakespeare. Or she'd like to be, but she's really not all that great. She speaks in rhyme whenever she can actually
think of one, pretending to give Heidi wise and/or cryptic advice when really she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about and neither does Heidi really but whatever dude if it makes you happy yeah totally the sun and the ocean are kindred spirits it makes perfect sense you're so right Matilda.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?Heidi's father was rather neglectful. He never hit her, he didn't abuse her in any way, and generally he was a pretty chill guy...when he was
around and not forgetting he has a daughter; she was raised more by her best friend's mother and her older brother than she was by him. She liked her best friend's mother, she even let jokingly called her a second daughter and would often pose as her mother when her dad's 'phone died' for the weekend, and her brother was a cool dude, but neither of them took her seriously when she needed them to listen to her
seriously. It wasn't terrible at first, a shadow here a shadow there, something moving in the far peripheral of her vision and disappearing when she tried to find out what it was. They were things she could shrug off and continue on with her day. It never really bothered her, it was just something weird. An overactive imagination probably. It wasn't completely unheard of. But as she got older the shadows became more frequent; she felt things touching her when nothing was there, she
heard things, she
saw things. She tried to explain it to her dad but he wouldn't listen, brushing it off as nothing. Her brother wasn't any better, and her best friend's mother was just as useless. She was sleeping less and less, her grades in school were slipping, she was getting jumpy; it was all very out of character for people who knew Heidi well. Everyone claimed it was just a cry for attention directed at her dad, a desperate attempt to make him notice her and pay attention to her, they thought she was doing drugs or going out at night and were trying to talk to her and
help her. But none of them provided the kind of help she
needed. The only person who would listen was her best friend, but even she was growing distant as their formerly common interests changed and differed from one another. It was getting unbearable, even Heidi could only stand so much. When approached by a stranger who seemed to
understand her she hesitantly took their offer to go with them, the suggestion that she could do something to fend off the shadows and things that were plaguing her being all too appealing to a stressed out and lonely Heidi.
(If not: all Hunters are human, chosen from among ordinary humans for their extraordinary ability to detect "evil beings". This abilty has affected them their entire life. The original solo guidelines are here: while, as a quest character, you do not have to write a solo yet, you should keep those guidelines in mind! Use them to develop your character's past, and their reasons for signing their life away to become a Hunter.)
Weapon AbilityShrieking Arrow (Tainted Fang) - Heidi fires an arrow that lets off a loud, ear piercing scream. If you ask Heidi what kind of effect this has, she'll explain that it's kind of like in pokemon when you confuse your enemy and they hurt themselves in their confusion. Loud noises'll do that to you.

Skin Colour: idk Caucasian she's not terribly exotic.
Clothing Style/Colours: I don't have any preferences on what her Hunter coat looks like, do whatever you want with it. I'd like the color of her scarf to be red. Any shade of red is fine. <3 How her scarf is tied doesn't matter either.
None of these references have to be exact, they're just a general idea of how she dresses. She dresses for comfort, doesn't care if it “looks fashionable” or if it even matches. Sneakers and boots, no high heels! T-shirts, jeans or shorts with leggings underneath. Hoodies, she'll even wear one under her hunter coat she doesn't care. Colors, logos, patterns, it doesn't matter. Just as long as she isn't Harrison-level awful... [
